Apparently we were the first guests at the recently renovated hotel which sits on the beach in central Agadir. It's is simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in beautiful, pools, gardens etc. we have tried both onsite restaurants Moroccan and Italian both excellent ... we were the only diners so the staff and service were amazing. The breakfast buffet in the morning was again, extraordinarily good with a waffle station, omelette station, local Moroccan bread and everything you would expect from a five star hotel really really good.

The spa in the basement wasn't open, but they gave us a tour of the facility which is going to be open in February and arranged for us to use the spa their sister hotel - we will come back and stay and use the spa because it looked amazing

The setting is superb with great access to the beach and many local restaurants. The staff were friendly, courteous and could not do enough for you.When we had a slight problem with the room lights it was fixed straight away by maintenance. Breakfast is a superb feast including many Moroccan delicacies and service was excellent. The pool was quiet with comfortable sunbeds and a tranquil setting.

It's a shame the restaurants in the hotel are so much more expensive than the local ones. It is clear people are prepared to pay for what is clearly a 5* hotel but the lack of guests visiting the hotel's restaurants reflects the fact that there is better value for money at the restaurants outside which are plentiful and within walking distance. This results in the hotel's restaurants lacking atmosphere despite the fact that they looked lovely.

Our stay at The View at Agadir was a resounding success ! The warm welcome by friendly staff who went out of their way to see we felt at home was wonderful ! The delicious food ( especially at breakfast) was divine and the gorgeous location including beautiful gardens added to the serene atmosphere . The Concierge service was impeccable and took care of our every need ! Our sightseeing tours (including to Essaouira, the oasis of Tiout and to Taghazout) with driver/guide Hicham were great fun and informative. Can’t wait to come back ! Shukran for everything ! 🙏

Superb stay at the View. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and set in a central location. Spacious pool with plenty of loungers, staff couldn’t have been more attentive. Especially the pool guys and the chap at the back gate. Massive selection of fresh food for breakfast. Nice selection of restaurants 5mins walk away.

Very shall point. No cut fruit at breakfast and we had to wait for it to be cut which lead to queues and most often we gave up waiting.

Incredible hotel with very professional staff throughout. Excellent location on the beachfront and close to amenities. Quality of food at breakfast and at the beach bar was excellent. Pool boys were so friendly and accommodating, especially Othman, Oussama, Ismail and Hussein. Nothing was too much trouble and they always did their best with being kind to our children. Sameera was the kids club was very accommodating and helpful too.

Breakfast orders weren’t quite right during busy periods. Had to ask several times for hot drinks at breakfast. Would be better if complimentary water was provided in the rooms every day.

Just got home from spending a week at The View. The hotel looked lovely from the pictures but in real life is even more beautiful. Everything is modern with a traditional twist, clean, light and spacious. Our room was big with a huge comfy bed, excellent shower and very clean. Housekeeping came twice a day if needed. :) The breakfast we had every morning was so delicious, with so much choice. Omelettes to order, fresh fruit juice, fruit, veg, a thousand types of Moroccan honey and peanut butter, yoghurt, cheese, meats, pastries and delicious breads to choose from. The pool is huge and beautiful, with comfy sun loungers and umbrellas the staff would sort out for us as soon as they spotted us. Such a relaxing atmosphere with birds tweeting and palm trees everywhere. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, but with fencing around the resort making it feel like an enclosed paradise! :) We ate a few lunches at the pool bar and one evening meal at the Italian restaurant which was all great. We were so blown away by all of the staff at the hotel. Every single person we spoke to was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, it genuinely felt like they cared. A special mention for Fouad and Yassine who took their time to teach us helpful Moroccan phrases and always had the biggest smiles. Reda who often served us at the pool bar was also super friendly and made the experience great. Any time we needed a taxi or information about where to go sight seeing, the staff on reception were also brilliant. Could not recommend The View enough!

Positive- Friendly team, fantastic breakfast and service in the restaurant, the gym is 10/10 great modern high quality equipment. Negative- very poor check out experience I was asked if I used the mini bar which I didn’t but the male receptionist said somebody needed to go and check this. After waiting 5-10 minutes whilst he tried to find somebody to check I explained how unacceptable it is to question the guests integrity and the unacceptable wait. I just walked off in the end. After a very positive stay this was very frustrating. Beds need thicker mattress toppers.

The location of the View was fantastic with a wonderful walkway between the hotel grounds and the sea. The walkway was also lined with good restaurants, if you wanted to go somewhere different one evening. The hotel staff were always there for you and did everything possible to make your stay more comfortale.

The only problem was the mattres on the bed. It was so hard that we had trouble sleeping. This is something that we would have to address if we stayed again.

The hotel was just as pictured and such a good spot to the beach and other areas. Got my money’s worth. Breakfast is amazing and Moroccan tea is a must!! Loved their heated pool and the aesthetic spots for pics.

Not all staff speak English and it can be a difficult to communicate sometimes.
