Lovely hotel 3 min walk from the Fez train station. Nice neighborhood with lots of food options and taxi stands nearby. The room was well kept with all the basic amenities provided. I was positively impressed with both the room and (especially!) all the 3 different people at the reception.

If you have a room with the balcony, be aware that you need to close the curtains at night - although it looks like they are mirrors during the day, they are not! :)

Staff: Othman, Mounir and Mounia were very helpful and welcoming. No plug for my bath tub. I told Mounir and he found one for me immediately. Location: Clean, comfy room just a few minutes from the main station. 15 minute walk to a mall with nice shops and a Carrefour.

Incredibly loud coversation from the night staff in the reception area until well after midnight.It came right into my 1st floor room as if they were just outside my door. I had to ask them to be quiet so I could sleep.

The staff were excellent. One of our members was sick and they really helped us out. They were not full so they upgraded our room. They called us an airport taxi which was different from the regular red Petite Taxis for town. The room was very quiet.

I like to sleep in a dark room and we were on the street side beside the lighted HOTEL sign so we got a lot of ambient light. I slept with my head under the covers but an eye mask would have worked as well. Slept well every night. Also I was thinking we were closer to the old city but it was so easy and cheap by the Taxis it might have been better anyway We were also in Ramadan but but restaurants opened at night near our hotel. And shopping for local was half price of the Old Town

All I wanted was a simple hotel room near the bus and train station for a couple of nights, and this met my needs very well. Basic but clean, warm, decent wifi and a small balcony onto the street. For the traveller between stops it could hardly be better located. Also a good place to stay if you prefer not to stay in the medina. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful - hope her sore throat is better now!

There was nothing I didn't like.

a strategic point if you want to have a place to stay near the train station and the autobus for the airport, the staff is friendly, and the decoration in the lobby is authentic and beautiful. alot of traffic around the hotel but the room is quite once you close the window

i may have one or two things to say on the preparation of the beds, but thats only cause i manage a hotel in italy and im used to another type of preparation, and one towel had a hole in it, but overall it was very clean

the bed sheets were laundered but the blankets, bed cushions and runner seemed to be diffucult to launder after every guest. Would recommend hotel changing to quilts instead of blankets

It is old school hotel and we loved it. The entrance to the building reminded me like from the movies with all that flags, reception and own style. I think it is good value for the money and really good location if you come by train, because it is like quick 5min walk up street from it and also it is not far away from CTM bus station where you can take bus to go to Chefchaouen (10 minutes walk from the mosque which is little bit upper street from hotel) . Even if room furniture felt a little old, everything is clean, taken care of and was there for comfortable stay: stand for suitcase to put on, sockets next to beds, beds to sleep, TV, powerful AC, good Internet signal. We were served breakfast and it included many things like fresh pastries, yogurt, juice and tea/coffee. In front of hotel is small supermarket where you can get little snacks. Medina and all sightseeings are quite far away, so it is faster to get taxi there, but if you don't mind walking like us, it is walkable as well with weather not being too hot.

The reception staff was very kind and the hotel had a parking in the street, with a parking attendant. I didn't have any issues leaving the bike parked in front of the hotel.

It's a bit inconvenient that the controls to the air-condition unit are not in the room, instead I had to ask the reception when to start and when to stop the heating.

The warm welcome on arrival was very much appreciated. The hotel is close to the train station which is why we chose it. We had a great night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed. The room was quiet too. Would recommend La Perla if you need a place near the train station. We will definitely return soon! Nothing! For the price and warm staff this hotel is great. Thank you.

It s quite clean in a nice location you can find cafes restaurants also you go to the mall with à carrefour supermarket near Macdonald, walk 15 minutes to be there. Try to buy from there, as the shops near the train station are quite expensive. The staff are very nice, Mr otman is a very decent man so kind , so helpful, you will feel safe secure and it s near the train station 3 minutes, taxis are around. From the airport I got a taxi it costs 15 euro to the hotel. Once landed, change only a small amount to pay the taxi, nearby the hotel there is shops to change currency much better than in the airport. Thanks for all the staff.
