This was our first visit to Marrakesh and first time staying in Riad. According to local people, Riads originally was a big family house where all family members meets together. We booked Jasmine and next door double rooms for my family ( 3 teenagers). When we first stepped in, we all thought that this is going to be a quite different experience!. Then we started to enjoy our stay minutes by minute.Really nice place Great location-walking distance to souk, and other interesting places. easy to get back to when you are outside the medina( old city), just opposite to Dar El Bacha. very close to the Main Street. Brilliant host- very friendly, always there to help it felt like home , breakfast area was amazing, I haven’t stayed in any other Riad , so can’t compare but, Yes definitely will stay in this place if I visited Marrakesh again.

We liked the traditional and attractive look of the riad. Convenient location. The staff were polite and helpful. We enjoyed choosing our breakfast time and the relaxed atmosphere. The one meal we had was very tasty and reasonably priced.

It was very nice stay at Riad Alida, helpful & nice staff, great location in the downtown, close to many facilities and city attractions. Riad services and breakfast were amazing. It was really great experience staying at Riad Alida.

Young gentleman that worked there only 2 days a week was the kindest and most accomodating person I have met. He gave us lots of tips for Marrakech and was very kind to our kids. He made a big difference in our stay.

Perfect location, staff were lovely, Riad was quite authentic and extremely good value.

some of my group complained about other guests smoking in communal areas and the smoke getting into their room. But there’s nothing you can do about other guests and it wasn’t bad enough for them to speak to either the guests themselves or the manager, they just moaned at me!

Tranquility of the Riad, the staff, the location

Unfortunately on our last night was the night of an earthquake. It was chaotic, I’m sure the staff were as worried as us, guidance would have been good. The member of staff on duty that night stayed with us throughout the night, I felt reassured by this

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and charming authentic decor. We loved having breakfast by the tiled pool and the roof terrace had plenty of shady spaces as well as full sun. Fantastic location for getting around Marrakech on foot. Would definitely book to stay at Riad Alida again.

bit hard to find the entrance at first. :-) Maybe could have placed a sign at the main road.

Beautiful Riad and room. Perfect location - and peaceful. Pleasant, accommodating and respond staff. Arranged a 4am transport to airport and waited with me for its arrival - thank you! English spoken by host…which was very helpful for me.

Rooftop top terrace was very lovely but no view from there. Breakfast was good, not great- although coffee was delicious and abundant :-)

Lovely riad with pool in the centre. Great rooftop area with shaded areas for cards, etc and sunbeds. Helpful staff who booked our taxis and arranged baggage porters. Stayed in the Paprika room - amazing space and lovely feel. Other rooms also great. Location very close to Museum Dar El Bacha, and near edge of medina Enjoyed Jardin Majorelle and Secret Garden which were both walkable to. Also, v close (in same alley) to rooftop bar.
