Absolutely loved our stay. Had a bit of a culture shock first after arriving & stayed elsewhere for 2 nights then we found this gem with amazing staff assuring us to feel safe & welcomed. They couldn’t have been anymore helpful with better English than myself! Breakfast on the terrace was great & the riad was spotless. The owner actually organised trips for us & woke at 4am to walk us to the local mosque where we were being collected from. Great location & we will definitely be back felt like home away from home we’d have stayed longer if we could🤍

The Riad is absolutely beautiful , pristine , sparkling clean and smells absolutely gorgeous the moment you walk in the door . We loved that it is a stones throw away from the bustling souks but is so quiet inside you would never know . The breakfast was lovely , staff lovely . We had a lovely welcome and were made to feel right at home. It really is a lovely little peaceful haven to come back to after a busy day in the souks and square . Ameen was the most friendly , knowledgable host and nothing was too much trouble for him. We also felt really safe and secure throughout our stay. The decor is so tasteful and a great mix of modern and traditional and the roof terrace is perfect to catch a few rays with a good book. We cant wait to come back.

This was a very, very good stay. The decor of the riad was lovely, the whole place felt serene and secluded despite the bustle of the city, the pool was cool and refreshing, the breakfast was plentiful and really good, the gents who worked there were so accommodating, constantly available on whatsapp or around the riad-- they gave us juices and waters without asking every day, they even packed our breakfast for us last second when we booked a tour despite the fact I literally whatsapped about it at midnight the night before. The room was spacious, clean, well decorated. Overall a really luxurious stay!

The AC did not work 100%. We were there in the hottest months, so I suppose the AC is strong enough for the temperatures of most months, but it did not work well enough against the 100 degree July heat to get the temperature below 80 Fahrenheit at night.

We enjoyed our whole stay here in Riad Botanica. Everything felt luxurious while also being homely. I’m quite particular with hotel sheets, pillows, and mattresses and the ones they provide here are top notch! Also, I’d like to point out that their airconditioner here works and really cools the room. I’m just saying this to help other people looking for a riad here in Marrakech because unfortunately, I find that although plenty of establishments have aircon, not all blast enough cool air. The location is also great as it’s in good walking distance to the main sights. Whenever we felt tired and hot after shopping - it’s easy - we’d just walk back around 10-15 minutes to the hotel and rest before going out again. You can also get taxis 3-5 mins away from the hotel - as tourists we’re usually charged around 50 dirhams. The free breakfast provided are so generous and we’re always full each time. Many thanks also to Amine and the team for being so kind - they went above and beyond just to make our whole stay comfortable.

Staying at Riad Botanica was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, we felt surrounded by beauty, warmth, and positive energy. Angela and Mohamed have created something truly magical here. You can feel the love and care that went into restoring the riad—it’s full of soul, blending Australian elegance with Moroccan charm in such a natural and joyful way. Angela herself is a light—radiating kindness, creativity, and such a generous spirit. The whole team was wonderful: welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We felt so at home here. It’s more than just a beautiful place to stay—it’s a space that nourishes you, inspires you, and leaves you with a full heart. Thank you for everything, Angela and team. The property was fantastic, would recommend to book airport transfer with the hotel. They have someone with a sign to greet and bring you to the property without a hassle. Mohammad met us at the drop off point and escorted us to the hotel. He was very informative with the hotel and surrounding area and provided recommendations. The orange blossom scent in the Riad and rooms was delightful and refreshing. The breakfast traditional, fresh and tasty. We had a great experience there and Mohammed &Angela are committed to the Riad and the overall guest experience. Would recommend for a true local immersion and great value.

There isn’t anything that comes to mind that we didn’t like about the property.

Even before we arrived Mohamed was in contact with us to ensure we would arrive and find the riad hassle free. He personally met us at our taxi drop-off and arranged to have our bags brought to the riad. The riad is really beautiful with the pool and orange tree in the courtyard. We stayed in the suite where everything was of the highest quality. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a joy which we looked forward to each morning. Mohamed was personally attentive to our every need even helping us book restaurants which he recommended. The staff were all really nice and friendly and nothing was too much bother. Location was perfect inside the old city. Thank you Mohamed and Angela!

Riad Botanica exceeded my expectations. The whole place is immaculate. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating and the photo opportunities are amazing. My girlfriend felt slightly unsettled on our first night as Marrakesh can be quite a culture shock if you haven’t visited before. The owner walked the local area with us and showed us some lovely places to try and did everything he could to put her mind at ease, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks to that she felt much more comfortable and we went on to have the best 4 days after that. This family owned riad is a true gem and should not be overlooked. It’s the only place I would consider staying if I was to return to Marrakech.

The only negative was the temperature. The room could feel pretty cold even with the heater switched on especially after a hot shower. This is not something you can criticise the accommodation for. We chose to travel in December and knew this would be the case as the riad has an open roof and due to the styling of the doors etc heat can escape the rooms very easily.

Everything Angela, Mohamed and the team do at Riad Botanica is to the highest standard of service. From the second you step out of the airport in Marrakesh you’re met by the Riad’s driver who takes you on a comfortable journey in to the Medina. For somebody used to the quiet life in Belfast the medina can be a bit of a culture shock but we were immediately put at ease by Mohamed who arrived to take us on the short walk over to the Riad. When we arrived we couldn’t believe the contrast between outside and inside the Riad. The attention to detail the team have put in to the place is on another level, there isn’t a single thing out of place it’s totally immaculate both in the rooms and in the communal areas. Every member of the team especially Angela and Mohamed go out of their way to make sure you have the best time in Marrakesh. Amazing recommendations including a sunrise hot air balloon ride and a sunset dinner in the desert really made our trip special. In terms of location the Riad is in a nice quiet part of the Medina with the souks just a short walk away and where you feel safe walking around. If you’re planning a trip to Marrakesh you couldn’t find a better place to stay.

Nothing it was flawless

There's is a lot to love. I loved the customer service, the ambiance, the location, the amenities, the breakfast, and the support, the place was beautiful. The location was super central in Marrakech as I was close to pretty much everything touristy and the big market. I was working remotely as well so half the time I sat in the courtyard and worked over the reliable wifi. Everyone truly was kind and attentive and made you feel at home. Would certainly recommend it highly. Angela and Mohamed were extremely helpful in helping you get to and from the airport, local recommendations of where to eat and what to do. This was worth every penny!
