Beautiful property with outstanding staff. Their service exceeded expectations - particularly the barman and the waiting staff. We stayed in a lovely room which was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and everything we required was serviced. There are two courtyards which deliver the peace and calm you would expect during the day. There is a roof terrace. Some evenings there is a singer/piano player Frankie whose music was outstanding.

On the occasions when there is no live music, the speaker music is often too loud and is played until too late to be conducive to the ambience of the Riad.

Speechless - The staff were amazing. It was a special trip for both me and my partner and the hotel knew this, they really made us feel special and catered for every need of ours, in addition to organising our activities. It felt seemless and I will never forget my experience. We loved the ambience and mood of the hotel, particularly at night, where we preferred staying at the hotel instead of going out. The mood and atmosphere was almost zen like, and we felt happy, relaxed and to me felt like more than even a 5 star hotel

We loved it all - super happy

We loved going down for our healthy breakfast every morning by the pool - a relaxed and refreshing way to start the day. Our riad was well located for us, a good walk to the sights inside the Medina but also proximate to places outside the Medina. It was also away from the bustle and very private so we could relax during the midday by the pool. The staff (Awaz notably) were friendly and helpful and the owner very kindly upgraded us to the lovely Elephant room for our last few days. We also enjoyed our evening meal there and the musical entertainment. A wonderful trip to Marrakech.

We enjoyed the evening musical entertainment but have noted in some comments that guests were kept awake. Not an issue for us however.

I can say only pleasant things about my stay...First of all it felt like home away from home right away. I do not know if all riads has suvh amazing staff, bit these guys were like family, 100%, everyone of them, cant thank them enough. I was treated like a queen from the first minutes I steped inside... Another pleasant surprise, the owner, Steve, upgraded us to the most amazing and fancy suite!!! With a private jakuzzi bath on the rooftop terrace, what about that🤍We also enjoyed our conversations at the bar, Steve and bartenders has many spellbinding stories to tell! I definatelly will be back and thanks everyone🩷

The riad is very well located with-in the medinas walls and is only a 15 minute stroll to the main square. It has a lovely traditional feel to the place and the room, Panther suite, we stayed in was very nice and over looked the small swimming pool. The breakfast was ideal and the once we ate there in the evening the food was very good and the pianist was superb. The bar area is very cosy and has a great feel to it, very speak easy vibe. The bed in the room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel right at home.

The only downside in the room was that the air conditioning was not up to the task of keeping the room cool and so it can be a bit warm trying to sleep at night and it would have been good to have your own tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also they gave you one bottle of water in the room but this was not refreshed during our stay, which would have been nice. We also found that around the small pool area the house keeping was a bit lax, with used towels and glasses being left overnight and not cleared away very often.

You walk down an old narrow street, there is no name above the door, you ring the bell (thinking where/what on earth have I booked)... Stepping inside (like a tardis), it took our breath away. Spacious authentic courtyard, with rooms off it. Then through a doorway into a reading room was a swimming pool with sunbeds (towels provided). The staff were so friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. We were in the Elephant room and had a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We also had dinner there, which was exceptional, with a great wine selection. Would definitely recommend a stay here. The Souk and Jemaa el-Fnaa square were in walking distance.

We liked everything but gave a 9/10 as the swimming pool could have done with a clean.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the design and atmosphere of the place. Every detail—from the furniture and colors to the materials and even the scent—felt thoughtfully curated with great taste and care. The riad is truly chic and gorgeous. We stayed in two rooms during our visit: Chameau for the first two nights and Panthère for the last. Both rooms are spacious and stylish—perfect for a romantic getaway. While the lighting is on the dim side, it complements the intimate ambiance of the riad. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious, and the bar served beautifully crafted, well-balanced cocktails. I also enjoyed the spa experience: a 20-minute traditional hammam followed by a relaxing massage—an ideal way to relax after a day exploring Marrakesh. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. I had an early morning webinar at 6 a.m., which I took in the lobby, and they kindly brought me a coffee—such a thoughtful gesture. Regarding the music: Before our stay, I had seen several comments about loud music, which concerned me as I usually prefer silence in the room. On the day we arrived, there was indeed a party, and the music was quite loud and audible in our room (Chameau). That said, it was turned off by 11:00 p.m. and didn’t disturb our sleep. On our second night, we had dinner in the restaurant and truly enjoyed the music—Franky is incredibly talented, and the atmosphere he created was fantastic. Advice for those who prefer silence in the room: I recommend choosing one of the suites—Zèbre, Panthère, or Guépard—located in a different courtyard, where you won’t hear the restaurant. Also, as I understood, weekdays tend to be quieter than weekends.

Generally, we had great experience

My wife and I had a wonderful three-night stay at the Riad Noir d’Ivoire. From the moment we booked, the hotel was incredibly helpful and attentive with useful tips on making the most of our stay in Marrakesh. The riad is an oasis of calm in the middle of the bustling Medina, with a luxury yet relaxed feel. The hotel has a great location and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the souks are easily accessible. Refreshing mint tea and macarons on arrival was a nice touch after our flight and efficient hotel-organised airport transfer. An upgrade to the Panthere Grand Master Suite was an unexpected bonus. Our room was huge with a relaxing sofa area, office and large bathroom with shower over a large traditional bath. There was also a private terrace with jacuzzi. It's a great place for couples looking for a romantic retreat. We had a lovely meal next to the pool in the winter garden. Pianist and singer Francky Kanza gave the place a great vibe in the evenings. The hotel's Charlie’s bar is a great place for pre and post-dinner drinks, with a wide range of cocktails and drinks. Hotel owner Stephen Pitts was a fantastic host and has a real passion for the place. He was always around the hotel, checking guests were enjoying their stay, and we had many great conversations over drinks during our stay. What makes the hotel, though, is the friendly and attentive staff, always serving with a smile and happy to help. If you're looking for somewhere special in Marrakesh that offers a memorable experience and excellent value for money, I can't recommend the Riad Noir d'Ivoire highly enough.

This is a wonderful, incredibly cozy, and beautiful riad where I experienced immense aesthetic pleasure. The interior is thoughtfully and skillfully designed, and I found myself admiring its details at every corner. The staff is exceptional and highly responsive, always ready to assist with any needs. The owner, Steven, is very welcoming, and it’s clear that everything has been done with great care and passion. We particularly enjoyed the best sound system in each room, and the piano evenings held here create an incredible atmosphere. The food is simply amazing. During our stay, the riad became number one in Marrakech for its gastronomic offerings. We travel a lot, and this is the second place in the world where I’ve had truly delicious cocktails. The selection is diverse, and the cocktails are truly worthy of attention. If you love aesthetics, attention to detail, friendly service, and want to stay in a great location in Morocco, I highly recommend this place. We have grown very fond of this riad; it feels cozy, comfortable, bohemian, safe, and like home.

Exceptional riad in a good location in the Medina area of Marrakech. Special mentions to Simo, the talented mixologist in Charlies Bar, the reception, concierges, and the attentive breakfast staff. The breakfasts are very good quality with eggs cooked on request and a selection of breads, pancakes, jams, yogurts etc. We really enjoyed dining in the restaurant on our first night with exceptional French and Moroccan dishes on offer. This was accompanied by the in-house pianist and singer with entertaining renditions of classics ranging from Lionel Ritchie to Pavarotti ! It is a really delightful place to stay with such a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina with a roof top area to soak up the sunshine . Would recommend taking the Riad transfer from the airport as well.
