The location of the Riad is ideal for visiting the sites of Marrakech and a short walk away from the main square of the Medina. Close to loads of the souks you feel right in the heart of a bustling city. Staff at the Riad are exceptional and Mustapha and his team will go out of their way to make you welcome and offer advice and suggestions during your stay. Weather was great during our stay and allowed us to have breakfast on the roof terrace most mornings. There are sunbeds on the roof, allowing you to chill after walking the city for hours, and a jacuzzi if you want to take a dip. Like most of the Riads inside the medina, the location of the Riad is down a little network of lanes, but this means that the location offers peace and tranquility in an otherwise bustling and busy environment. With only 5 rooms the Riad is quiet and relaxing and Mustapha always has time to deal with any queries you may have. Highly recommended.

What a gem of a place this is! We arrived hot and tired, and were sat down for a refreshing mint tea while we chatted with the owner and Mustapha, the manager. The riad itself is amazing -traditionally decorated and comfortable (great mattress and super-king-sized bed, fluffy towels, luxury shower gel and shampoo) and is really clean. The roof terrace with hot tub was terrific - great for relaxing from the heat, but also for excellent breakfasts and dinners. The location is in the heart of the medina, walking distance from all the main sites. However, the cherry on the cake is the staff. Each of them went over and above to help whenever they could, so to Mustapha, the mine of information; Bahija and Halima the amazing chefs and housekeepers; and Mohamed, the helpful night-time caretaker, a huge thank you. You made our stay special.

I'll be honest, it was a bit more expensive than we had anticipated in Morocco, but would still go back there.

We had a wonderful stay at this riad in Marrakech. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel very welcome. We arrived quite late on our first night, and they still prepared a warm meal for us, which we really appreciated. The ladies at the riad made a tasty breakfast every morning and were always so kind and friendly. Mustapha gave us great tips for things to do and see in the city, which really helped us make the most of our time. We also booked a taxi through the riad a few times, which was super convenient and easy to arrange. The location of the riad was perfect: everything was within walking distance, but it was still quiet and peaceful at night.

The staff looked after us well. They organised taxis for us. Food was good- breakfast kept us going most of the day. We had delicious food in the evening. The roof top was a quiet place to enjoy Marrakesh away from the noise.

It was all very good. It would be improved if the riad was able to manage the smell of cats - they are all over the city and it is obviously tricky keeping them out, but the smell could be very strong in places such as the roof top. One cat was asleep in our room when we were first let in - we didn't mind but some people would not like this.

We stayed at Riad L’Orange Bleue for two nights and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is superb. The riad itself is beautiful, full of charm and very clean. The sunny rooftop terrace, complete with loungers and a jacuzzi, was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast was delicious. Mustafa, our host, was warm, friendly, and always smiling. He went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, offering great tips for visiting the city. Despite our early 4 AM departure, he thoughtfully prepared a take-away breakfast for us. The ideal place to find peace and comfort. Highly recommended!

The staff were fantastic. Mustapha was so helpful - booking restaurants, spas and sorting airport transfers. Warm welcome despite arriving at midday - tea, cakes and able to check into room. The breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit yoghurt and pancakes. The location was perfect to walk into the Souks from the North. Lovely sunny roof terrace and comfortable bed!

WiFi temperamental. Bedroom a little dark and walls are thin - but that's the design of a Riad. Its a 200 metre walk from the nearest road and the taxi dropped us in wrong place. Let Mustapha arrange the transfer from the airport.

comfortable, small and personal. comfy beds, clean linen, authentic and the staff were brilliant. Allowed us to check in early and check out Kate to accommodate awkward flight times. Fatima and get team were always ob hand to advise or arrange things but very discrete and professional.

can’t say I disliked anything although one area for improvement by the owner would be an upgrade or better maintenance of the jacuzzi as the water did not look too inviting.

A beautiful traditional Riad, a real gem in a lovely location - close enough (but equally far enough) from the hustle and bustle. The pictures on booking.com are really true to life. An authentic local experience with lovely hospitality. Breakfast set us up nicely for the day and the roof terrace was perfect for some afternoon r&r in the sun after exploring.

Our room was on the courtyard of the ground floor so we could hear people coming and going/ staff at work. It was fine, but just stating in case that would upset potential guests.

Perfectly located inside the medina but off the busy streets - a haven of peace and quiet in the bustling city. The roof terrace adds another dimension, with the possibility of dinner or breakfast up there, plus use of a hot tub. Very friendly and welcoming, so helpful organising taxis to/from airport and leaving us a ‘packed breakfast’ when we had an early start for a day trip. A beautiful building with furnishings to match. Would very happily stay again.

The Riad is beautiful and carefully decorated! Mustapha and Mohammed were extremely helpful! Had all the best recommendations and organised our transfer to the airport! We couldn’t find the post office or where to get a stamp to send a postcard and Mustapha kindly volunteered to do so for us! Absolute legend! We felt like part of the family and yet we were there for less than 24 hours! Definitely a must!
