We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful riad, and it was an experience we won’t forget. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff. Simo truly fills the riad with his positive energy, making every guest feel welcome and cared for. Laila prepared delicious breakfasts, and her kindness was evident every day. Staying at this Riad was an absolute pleasure! The atmosphere is exactly what I hoped for, peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of Moroccan charm. The photos online were lovely, but being here in person was even better. A good Moroccan Breakfast at the rooftop after a nice wake up , the riad is well maintained and thoughtfully decorated. The location is ideal for travelers who want to truly experience the local culture. It’s nestled within the medina, which adds to the authenticity and makes it easy to explore the city’s historic sites on foot. It may not be on a main road, but that’s what gives it its calm, tucked-away feel-like a secret haven in the heart of Marrakech. The staff were warm, attentive, and always available to help with anything from directions to restaurant tips. If you’re looking for a unique, comfortable, and authentic stay, this riad is a fantastic choice.

Riad Anais was such a nice surprise exceeding our expectations in every respect. Nice large rooms, tastefully decorated, very clean, comfortable baths. Common areas very nice to lounge in and the rooftop terrace just amazing for breakfast or dinner. The location is great too - close to the main road (easily accessible by car / taxi etc.), but still inside the medina and only a few turns on a side alley. Very quiet and peaceful once inside, away from the noise and stimulation of the souks. As always, the best part are the people. Laila is a great cook, I highly recommend eating in a few times to sample her dishes. And Simo was always helpful, attentive and engaging in interesting conversation. Thank you both for making our stay wonderful!

The Riyad was so peaceful, silent, and clean. It has a wonderful terrace where you can see the city view. It was a 10 minute walk to everywhere. Layla was a very smiling, easy going and very helpful host, preparing a beautiful breakfast every morning. On our last day we missed the breakfast hour but she prepared it anyway. I’d definetely would like to stay here again.

I thing it’s normal because these buildings are historic but encountered with 2 bugs in the room. Maybe that might be enhanced.

Disclosure: I am a hotelier myself, so my review may be more thorough. I also had the pleasure of occupying 2 rooms during my stay. The riad is an oasis of calm amidst the chaotic atmosphere of the medina The rooms are well designed and cozy. The bathrooms are quaint, and the common areas are elegantly appointed. The memory foam topper on the mattress is superb, giving me a restful sleep every night. Almost every corner looks like it is ready to be photographed for a magazine. The aesthetics is well maintained and everything is clean. If it was not too hot, i would sit and hang at the courtyard all day. The location is within the medina yet only a few steps to the taxi pick up and drop off location. There are plenty of food options around so you dont need to go deep into the medina to find something to eat. The staff is awesome and sepaks English so communicationwas a breeze. The manager Simo was in contact days before my arrival, with instructions on how to find the riad. This is important as Marrakech is well known for young men giving tourists misinformation. As i walk down the alley a man approached to tell me the riad is close and I should follow him to go elsewhere. Ignore them. Aimad is very service-oriented and always ready to serve. Awesome at night and at breeakfast and Maria the housekeeper keeps everything tidy at all times.

No hot water kettle in the room. But coffee or tea is always available on request.

The structure is a very nice and small Arabian Riad, cured in all details with fantastic color shades. The rooms, limited in the numbers, are well furnished, spacious and very comfortable. The atmosphere inside is a great one. The rooftop is an additional skill of this great accommodation, organised with all the Arabian pins, sofa where to have a breakfast (no times limits) / dinner, smoke a cigarette or working. Simo is a great owner and his staffs is very professional. He gave us a lot of suggestions and his help has been crucial to plan the daily activities of fantastic weekend off. You can ask him everything, he is very open to help, very friendly and happy to spend time together. We left Marrakesh grateful to have spent the days in a Riad like this and to have meet a new friend. Hope to come back soon. We really felt home.

The Riad has only 5 rooms and is very quiet and very beautiful. The room was very comfortable, the terrace was great to have breakfast and Simo and Mohammed were so helpful and incredibly nice to speak with. The Riad is in the Medina and right at the outter edge of souk/market. The location was perfect to go shopping or to walk to restaurants or hammams. Would definitely stay here again.

mode of payment. May card was not accepted online and cannot pay card upon checkin. Which I found it kinda dicey, I've used my card for several booking for ages with different countries as well as all my transactions in Marrakech. Hence, have to go out late in the evening to withdraw cash and pay upfront before going inside the room. Otherwise, it's a great trip overall.

We truly appreciated the warm, kind hospitality that we received from Karim and Layla who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. It was a delight to return to the tranquility of the riad after a day in the city. The rooftop terrace offers a perfect setting for breakfast. We had an early flight and Karim was so kind to prepare a breakfast tray the night before. Thank you both for a lovely stay!!

Karim is an excellent hotelier! He looks after all his guests to the best of his abilities. He’s very sensitive and accommodating to our needs. He helped us a lot with our excursions and airport transfers. Thank you very much Karim. We will recommend your hotel to our families and friends!
