The interior design was authentically Moroccan, which gave it so much character. When our air conditioning failed, they upgraded us to a fantastic suite and replaced the air con immediately. The staff were happy to guide us when we got lost and were very kind and supportive. We loved their breakfast in the courtyard each morning and swimming in the rooftop pool in the afternoons.

You have to remember that these are very old buildings, so some of the finishes are rustic. And just a little heads up, when we first arrived, we became nervous when the manager rolled our suitcases down some dark alleys. Having not been there before, I didn't realise how many riads are found in these back alleys. After a couple of days, you'll be able to find your way back without asking for directions.

This was an absolutely stunning property and the staff was above and beyond our expectations. The rooftop was the best, the lounge and pool were so nice to spend the hottest part of the day. We were in a great location to walk through the markets, the secret jardin and lots of great restaurants. We had a very early departure at 3:30 AM, Hammond was waiting to escort us and our luggage for the 10 minute walk to the pick up location on the edge of the Medina to make sure our taxi was there and we didn’t run into any issues. We were so impressed with the level of service and the beautiful property. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for your trip to Marrakesh!

The Riad is a little tricky to locate when you first arrive. There is an alley way that you will have to follow looking for signs that say “Riad Safar” it is quite hidden but once you find it you’ll have no problem exploring the area as it’s very centrally located.

The staff were really kind and helpful. I wish we spoke better French as I feel like we would have been able to get more out of our stay. It’s such a beautiful riad, we had a wonderfully relaxing time and had the rooftop and pool to ourselves whenever we wanted to use it. The style and aesthetic of the riad was beautiful. The staff went out of their way to help us stay an extra day when I was ill and made me feel very comfortable. The second bed we had was really comfy.

There was nothing we disliked. Helpful to give photo instructions for how to find the riad on arrival and my only request would be to add a new mattress to our first room.

Riad Safar was an oasis of calm in the midst of the busy streets and souks. Staff were attentive and helpful. We had a beautiful room and lovely breakfast each morning of our stay. The rooftop plunge pool was a fantastic way to cool down at the end of a day exploring Marrakesh. The view of sunset from the rooftop couldn’t have been better! I don’t think there could be a nicer place to stay than Riad Safar. Highly recommended.

The Riad was hard to find initially, however a local man helped us and once we got our bearings we were fine. Highly recommend using map.me app to find your way around the city. Only online map that seems to work. Also be aware the souks close at night so you need to find alternative routes home, as taxis cannot get directly to the riad.

Everything about our stay was perfect — from the location and the staff to the room itself. We arranged transportation through the riad, and upon our arrival in the Medina, someone was already waiting to guide us to the property, which was a thoughtful touch. The internet connection was reliable and suitable for work, and the rooftop offered a beautiful view, especially at sunset. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially appreciated the extra effort the staff made to prepare it early for us at 6:30 AM on the day of our departure. We truly loved our stay and highly recommend this riad.

Absolutely STUNNING Riad - the interiors are so beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and we spent hours on the rooftop terrace enjoying the views and pool. Had the best coffee I have ever tasted in the free breakfast - I don’t know what their secret was but I will never forget it 😩 rest of the breakfast slapped as well. Cannot recommend this place enough (:

The only thing to note is that the location is a little hard to find - it’s worth paying someone to help you or ask for chaffeaur service rather than wander the souk aimlessly!!

The Riad is so beautiful & peaceful, and the team there are exceptional. Hamid & Fatima looked after us so well that we were sad to leave. The bed was very comfortable and the proximity to the hustle & bustle of the Medina meant we could visit all the main sites easily while staying in an oasis of calm. If you’ve not stayed in a Riad before we would advise asking for directions from the property or to be met on arrival, as we got very lost. However everyone we met was friendly & helpful.

It is the most beautiful and tranquil Riad. I loved every minute of it. The level of service from all the staff was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much of a problem. I had the suite which was stunning. There were some lovely guests that were staying, so it had a feeling of being intimate, personable and luxurious. We were 2 solo female travellers so had seperate rooms both of which were beautiful. We met the owner who was very generous with his time to us, chatting and we adored Fatima. ❤️ She was so kind and helpful to us. I actually felt sad to leave!

It was all fabulous 👌. There was a walk through the alleyways to the Riad as is often the case in Marrakesh if you are staying in the centre but we had a lovely security guard that came and walk with us each night so we felt very safe and protected.

The whole riad from the reception space to the rooms to the roof top were simply stunning. Staff were attentive and breakfast was delicious. Location was also close to a lot of restaurants and activities while not being too far from a gate to the Medina for excursions or taxis.

The riad was a bit hard to find as the entrance didn’t show properly for us on google maps. Some instructions from the host would have helped us navigate our way there for the first time 😊

Beautiful peaceful Riad Excellent friendly staff, they were so helpful and the Riad felt very safe. Seamless transfer arranged from the airport and luggage taken through the narrow streets. Excellent location in the heart of the medina, lovely breakfast served in the beautiful courtyard Gorgeous rooftop terrace with amazing views and pool. Listening to the call to prayer from the mosques was an amazing experience up there We will return

The mattress was a little too firm for us but still managed to sleep after all the hustle and bstle of the medina
