Riad Safar was an oasis of calm in the midst of the busy streets and souks. Staff were attentive and helpful. We had a beautiful room and lovely breakfast each morning of our stay. The rooftop plunge pool was a fantastic way to cool down at the end of a day exploring Marrakesh. The view of sunset from the rooftop couldn’t have been better! I don’t think there could be a nicer place to stay than Riad Safar. Highly recommended.

The Riad was hard to find initially, however a local man helped us and once we got our bearings we were fine. Highly recommend using map.me app to find your way around the city. Only online map that seems to work. Also be aware the souks close at night so you need to find alternative routes home, as taxis cannot get directly to the riad.

Everything about our stay was perfect — from the location and the staff to the room itself. We arranged transportation through the riad, and upon our arrival in the Medina, someone was already waiting to guide us to the property, which was a thoughtful touch. The internet connection was reliable and suitable for work, and the rooftop offered a beautiful view, especially at sunset. We stayed in the junior suite, which was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially appreciated the extra effort the staff made to prepare it early for us at 6:30 AM on the day of our departure. We truly loved our stay and highly recommend this riad.

It is the most beautiful and tranquil Riad. I loved every minute of it. The level of service from all the staff was absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much of a problem. I had the suite which was stunning. There were some lovely guests that were staying, so it had a feeling of being intimate, personable and luxurious. We were 2 solo female travellers so had seperate rooms both of which were beautiful. We met the owner who was very generous with his time to us, chatting and we adored Fatima. ❤️ She was so kind and helpful to us. I actually felt sad to leave!

It was all fabulous 👌. There was a walk through the alleyways to the Riad as is often the case in Marrakesh if you are staying in the centre but we had a lovely security guard that came and walk with us each night so we felt very safe and protected.

Beautiful riad right in the heart of the medina surrounded by loads of great restaurants and shops. The whole riad was incredibly well decorated and spacious, and our room exceeded our expectations too. The staff were incredible, special shout out to Hamsel, who was so welcoming, always there to help, and gave us some great advice for our stay in Marrakech. Very delicious breakfast with freshly made orange juice and yummy pastries and eggs every morning. The rooftop gave an amazing view of Marrakech and the Koutubia Mosque, especially at sunset, and the pool was a perfect addition in the heat of Marrakech.

As we were on the ground floor, it was quite noisy in the mornings when people were getting up for breakfast, but that may be expected in a Riad where everything happens in the centre courtyard

Beautiful peaceful Riad Excellent friendly staff, they were so helpful and the Riad felt very safe. Seamless transfer arranged from the airport and luggage taken through the narrow streets. Excellent location in the heart of the medina, lovely breakfast served in the beautiful courtyard Gorgeous rooftop terrace with amazing views and pool. Listening to the call to prayer from the mosques was an amazing experience up there We will return

The mattress was a little too firm for us but still managed to sleep after all the hustle and bstle of the medina

Location was great though a good advice is to book transport from the airport with the hotel. The taxi cannot drive very close to the hotel due to the streets being too narrow. Our driver coordinated with the hotel staff who met us at a bigger square and the staff took care of our luggage. Its not a very long walk but if you have not been there before you might struggle to find the riad. The fee for transport was 20 EUR paid directly to the driver. This riad was lovely and particularly the roof terrace with the clean pool was very refreshing. Staff are extremely polite.

Not the riads fault that internet was very much on off during out stay. It made it a little difficult planning as we had no data allowance. Most bigger café’s had wifi though so not a masive issue. The internet was fixed on the day we left, so maybe this was just an issue during our stay and it will not impact your stay.

The riad is a little paradise in the centre of all the chaos. The property is immaculately clean, it's beautifuly decorated and surprisingly quiet even though it's right in the middle of things. Every morning I had a delicious continental style breakfast, fruits, selection of breads etc. Hammid the "guardian" of the property was so helpful and kind, nothing was too much trouble. As a solo traveller I felt very safe there and looked after by all the staff and the owner, I could not recommend it enough.

There was nothing I didn't like about this riad.

The attention of the staff is the best. With my family we arrived late at night at the Riad and the manager of the Riad waited for us until we could accommodate our reservations and took us to a restaurant so that they would serve us well and told us what we could have for dinner. Breakfast was always varied, every day with a new pleasant surprise. The rooms make you feel like you are in a movie and the decoration of the environment is perfect and measured.

I have no major complaints. The only thing I suggest is that they can explain well how to get to the Riad, because it is common for tourists to get lost when trying to find a Riad in the medina. As you arrive at the Riad it is scary because the alley is long and dark, but nothing happens, it is a safe and controlled place for tourists. The other thing I can comment that is something minor and that will surely be solved is that one of the rooms had a slight smell of sewer from the toilet, this is very easy to solve, probably by the time you read this, that problem will be solved.

Riad Safar is a tranquil oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Medina. Everything was so thoughtfully done, the architecture has been lovingly maintained and the owners have an eye for detail. All the staff were lovely and couldn’t do more to help with every request. There are four private suites and guests have access to all shared areas (central courtyard, dining room, roof terraces, pool) so it truly feels like you’re a guest in a mansion. Everywhere in Medina was walkable, 20 minutes cab from the airport. Would recommend to anyone.

All good, zero complaints.

Riad Safar was an absolute dream. The beds were comfy, the breakfast delicious and the staff so helpful. The roof top has spectacular views of the Medina and two relaxing spaces, one by the pool (not heated) and the other a raised area. The Riad is both stylish whilst still traditional, the perfect city getaway. As it was our first time in Marrakech I requested a taxi to collect us from the airport and this saved us any hassle, (would definitely recommend sorting this before you arrive). The location is great, so many beautiful and delicious food options so close by, as well as hammams and of course the amazing souks for shopping.
