The breakfast was very lovely, a selection of yoghurt, pastries, and local pancakes. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, always with a smile and doing what they can. My partner unfortunately contracted food poisoning from outside the riad. The owner arranged for an infusion and a rice dish to be cooked to help him recover, which was a lovely gesture. There is a beautiful terrace with a resident tortoise and some cute resident cats. We stayed in the Jemra suite as a couple and it is as very spacious with a comfy bed (and second bed if more people want to stay in it). It was tucked away and was a quiet, air conditioned sanctuary after a day of haggling in the souks! The location of the riad is a five minute walk from a main road and it is very safe. It is just outside the main souls so still retains the same atmosphere. It is also very close (2-5 mins walk) to the Jardin Secret and Bacha Coffee and some nice restaurants nearby

Everything was great!

The riad was very "quirky", shabby chic. Lots of different rooms, stairs - great to explore (then get lost and find yourself in a different area). Spa/massages were very good and so relaxing after busy days. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner was als very friendly, helpful and was always around. He always made a point of saying good morning to every one in the breakfast area which was a nice touch. Fascinating art works around the whole of the riad (created by the owner). The riad also booked transfers/trips which were very good. The area around the riad felt very safe and was ideally located for shops/restaurants etc.

The breakfast! We found out at the end of our stay that they do not have electric kettles in the kitchen - only large kettle on gas! Therefore water for tea was not hot. When ordering cooked eggs etc. everything came out in bits and pieces - we didn't all "eat together". Somedays pastries were not available other days they were - and were delicious. The building next door was being renovated so there was a lot of noise - drills, hammering so when trying to relax around the pool area it was difficult. It would have been nice to be warned of this.

The property is located in the medina,so easy access to souks, restaurants etc. The staff are fantastic and can’t do enough for you. We arranged transfers to and from the airport with the riad and all very well organised. The owner Jean claud introduces himself to all guests, which is a warm touch. I did the hot air balloon experience and that morning the guy on night duty offered to walk me to the meeting points it was a 5.30am pick up. Overall we had a fantastic stay, and would return.

There was nothing to dislike, just be mindful if you have breathing or mobility problems riad might not be the best choice. As they all have lots of steps. That goes for all riads.

Gorgeous riad with eclectic decor in a great location in Marrakech. We lost electricity in half of our room one morning but the staff was quick to get it fixed and let us shower in an unused room while they fixed things up. The hammam with massage (by Khadija) was fantastic! The rooftop was very pleasant in the winter afternoons to soak up some sun and watch the transition to golden hour. Finally, the rescued cats that roam the property were lovely!

Our room was nice but a bit dark, particularly the closet area. A few nights were particularly cold, and the heater struggled to keep up, but the blankets were warm enough. Shower water temperature was a bit unpredictable and inconsistent, some days no problem, some days it barely got to body temperature.

The location was fantastic - very easy to find off a main street, just a short way into the medina. Close to Dar Bacha coffee (Mussee des Confluences) and the Jardin Secret. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the convenience of eating in the restaurant for dinner after a tiring trip and the food was good. The room was spacious and comfortable. I really liked having several common salons with fire places - it was cool at night in February. The decor is quirky but plush with velvet sofas and rich colours etc. We also enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop. There are some excellent restaurants in Marrakech - within the medina, we recommend L'Mida and outside the medina - La Maison Reine, both restaurants were superb and within walking distance from our riad.

The layout of the building is not straight forward - other riads have rooms arranged around a central courtyard. The interior of this riad has several connecting sections - we had to go upstairs, across and downstairs to our room.

I liked the helpful staff at the Riad. Sala on day 1 was brilliant at check in. Our family suite was brilliant and had our own door to enter the nice little courtyard. Rooms were cleaned everyday and new towels provided. Overall a very nice Riad and in an excellent location!! The rooftop terrace space was our favourite and could have stayed there all day. It was also nice to see the owner of the riad every morning and say hello.

Breakfast was good, there could be a bit more to make even better. Some nice fruit on the tables for anyone who wants to and some olives on the side etc which I have experienced in another place on a previous visit. Just little things takes it to another level. I had a foot massage and would have appreciated some nice diffuser sending essential oils smells in the spa area. My massage itself was amazing!! Just a bit more ambience.

Amazing welcome from Jean Claude and all the staff. Such kind and warm hearted people - they made our stay even more special. Jean Claude always made a point of saying hello when he saw us and gave us great tips too. The whole riad is delightful and the outdoor space on the roof is superb. So many little areas to choose from and staff would kindly carry up food for us that we ordered in restaurant. Really a great location for walking everywhere to main sites and the souks. We booked a private 4hr medina walking tour - highly recommended and also really great for meeting local artisans and being able to separate from the ‘made in china’ trading shops. We also took a hot air balloon trip - incredibly tranquil and beautiful experience. Thank you all at team Riad Dar Saad.

What a fantastic oasis of calm within the busy Medina in Marrakech. The Riad is beautiful and extensive, with lots of beautifully decorated sitting areas to relax. Breakfast was delicious, and they even opened early one morning to let my husband eat before he got picked up for a tour. The staff and owner were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large and comfortable. We loved saying hello to the Riad cats as well, they were very friendly and photogenic! The location is great on one of the main alleys used to get into the old town, but it's tucked down a quiet and safe side street. I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that could be improved about our room were the bathroom facilities. Our shower had a rainfall shower head that didn't work due to mineral buildup, and overall the bathroom felt a bit dated and like it was in need of an upgrade to match the luxurious feeling of the rest of the property.

Excellent Riad, with lots of beautiful ornaments, keen attention to detail in the interior design and ambiance. The staff were all lovely and accommodating, the owner was there and personally checked in with all the guests. Breakfast was included and amazing quality. The room was larger than we expected and had traditional furnishing which made it a memorable stay. Location is great, however, taxis drop you on the main road, the Riad is located in an internal street which is a 4-5 min walk from the road. Keep this in mind if you have elderly or disabled needs.

Great communciation from the Riad re the booking and transport , very friendly staff . The Riad is ideally located in the middle of the Medina . The Riad was very clean with a great breakfast in the mornings . The Riad had several friendly cats wandering around. The Riad was very well decorated in a Morrocan French Style

I was sold a Junior Suite but ended up in what looked like a fairly standard room, no desk as stated on the booking conformation and no sofa to sit on. I think the room was oversold , The room was well decorated and clean.
