Hassan was FANTASTIC and made our stay so memorable. He helped us with our every need. This was also the best breakfast we had in all of Morocco, and one night we ate dinner here and it was our favorite tajine. We couldn't have asked for a better place!

We stayed at this riad for 5 days and were warmly welcomed by Ahmed and Mr. Hassan, who were both exceptional hosts and made us feel at home straight away. The riad itself is beautiful and easy to get around once you arrive, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Ahmed and Mr. Hassan were always ready to recommend local spots to visit, which was very helpful if you haven’t planned your trip in detail. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight—such a lovely way to start the day—and there are plenty of peaceful relaxation areas throughout the riad, so you’re not limited to your room. On our second day, we tried the hammam and massage experience, and it was wonderful. I’d highly recommend booking this at the riad itself, as you’ll feel so relaxed afterwards that you won’t want to walk far. Overall, a fantastic stay with warm hospitality, great recommendations, and truly relaxing experiences.

No need to look any further once you have found this place! For us, the warmth and friendliness of every single staff member topped it all. Ali, Ahmed, Hassan and all the ladies: everybody went out of their way in order to make our stay memorable and absolutely pleasant. Our room was super clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. The location was unbeatable: all the main sights were within just a few minutes walking distance (like a 2min walk to Jardin Secret). …did i mention the beef Tajine? It was out of this world! (in actual fact we changed our plans to return after our round trip to have another one!)

The location, delicious breakfast and dinner, refreshing welcome mint tea, spacious rooms, and beautiful rooftop terrace were all wonderful highlights of this riad. However, what truly sets it apart is the exceptional staff. Ali, Mr. Hassan, and Ahmed were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. From their thoughtful local recommendations to their friendly smiles and greetings each time we returned, their hospitality made our stay unforgettable.
The path to the riad down the alley can seem a little dark, however there is security to escort you during nighttime hours and felt very safe. I wish I had more time to experience the Hammam and spa treatments

We had a wonderful stay at this riad in Marrakech. Hassan, Ahmed, and Ali were absolutely amazing so welcoming, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay. We arrived late at night due to a late flight and they went out of their way to make sure we got to the riad safely and comfortably. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home. The riad itself is beautiful, peaceful and well located but what truly made the experience special was the hospitality of the team. We’re so grateful for their help and warm care, and we would definitely recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech!
Everything was amazing

We had a local breakfast on the terrace overlooking the city. Having a rooftop terrace meant that we could hear the sounds of the city including the calls to prayer. All our travel needs were met during our stay including our transfer from and to the Riad. The Riad was a beautiful peaceful and cool space in the heart of a busy Medina. The pool, although very small, was a lovely space to cool off in from the heat of the day. The team were all very friendly and attentive. I booked a hamman at the riad which was lovely, too.
There wasn't anything I didn't like but it maybe worth noting for other travellers that, even though it is in the heart of the medina, it did take a bit of finding on foot. However, that could have been just us and our navigation skills! As with many riads, there is no licence for alcohol. A cold beer on the terrace would have been nice at the end of a hot day. There is a small menu available but needs to be booked in advance.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Riad Khalifa. The riad itself is absolutely beautiful, with a perfect location right in the heart of the Medina. Our room was spacious, very clean, and full of character. The central courtyard is lovely and was a peaceful place to relax, even with our small child. The rooftop terrace was another highlight – perfect for enjoying tea in the evening or even having dinner with a beautiful view. One of the best parts of our stay was the staff – they were simply amazing. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to every single request. They made us feel welcome and taken care of from the moment we arrived. We often ate at the riad, and the food was outstanding – the cook is truly talented. We also enjoyed a fantastic hammam and massage at the riad’s small spa, which was another memorable experience. Everything about this riad – the décor, the cleanliness, the location, the safety, the food, and especially the people – made our stay unforgettable. It’s a place that truly feels like a home away from home. 10/10.

We loved everything about our stay at Riad Khalifa. It really is an oasis in the heart of the Medina. The rooms are beautiful and the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and it was served in the beautiful courtyard setting. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Hassan was very welcoming and greeted us with a smile each time we arrived back at the Riad. The location is excellent (albeit a little tricky to find at first!).
The only very slight criticism would be the shower as the water pressure was very low and it was a hand held shower which made washing a bit tricky!

We enjoyed breakfast. I think it would have been better if breakfast included omelettes or eggs every morning; I am not sure if we should make a request for this. But overall, breakfast was nice, and the fact that we had it sitting on the rooftop, taking in the vista of Marrakesh, counts for everything. We liked the location of Riad Khalifa, which is right in the heart of the Medina. Marrakesh itself is a beautiful place full of hidden gems. We enjoyed the tourist attractions; our favorite would be the Secret Garden, which is only a 5-minute walk from the Riad Khalifa. We liked the local restaurants. I would definitely recommend popping over to Koulchi Zine and La Jardine (the food and atmosphere there were amazing).
There is nothing that we disliked about the Riad Khalifa. Hassan was so helpful, and all the staff were kind and welcoming. I found the experience of walking through souks a bit overwhelming, but I can't say that I didn't like it either. It's just part of the experience and the local culture.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful! (I only remember Hassan’s name but all of them was really friendly, and we got a lot of useful tips from them to explore the city without getting scammed) We arrived a bit early but it was no problem: they have a luggage room but we chilled a bit in the inside garden with a welcome mint tea and got our room in less than an hour. The rooftop is amazing, our room was clean and comfortable (exactly like on the pictures), and the staff was always around if we had a question. If you’re a light sleeper bring earplugs (I did, and had no problem sleeping) otherwise you might wake up for the other guests or the call to prayer. It’s amazing how quiet it becomes once you enter the Riad, completely shuts the noise of the medina out.
As others have said It’s a bit hard to find it in the medina, but it’s true for every other Riads. The google maps takes you to a point where you still have to find the small alley to the riad. Ask the shop owners nearby and look for the signs on the walls!
