Great location in the Medina close to Souks and 15 minute walk to main square. Friendly and helpful staff gave us directions and useful information. Fantastic breakfast served to our table each morning with wide selection of home baked goods, fresh fruit, jams and yoghurt. The Riad’s app was a tremendous help particularly with navigating our way through the Medina when Google maps did not work. Luggage was stored for us on departure day and we were welcomed back to change in guest lounge or chill on roof terrace.

We had the most amazing experience staying at Riad Cinnamon, it truly exceeded all our expectations. The riad itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated with authentic Moroccan style, every corner radiates charm and elegance. Our room was spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the vibrant Medina, surrounded by the souks, local life, and buzzing atmosphere. And yet, as soon as you step inside the riad, it’s like entering a peaceful sanctuary. It’s quiet, serene, and incredibly relaxing, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle outside. Everything was within walking distance, but on days we preferred not to walk, the riad arranged affordable and reliable transportation for us, including fun and easy rides with a tuk-tuk straight to wherever we wanted to go. Every morning we were greeted with a delicious and generous breakfast, freshly prepared and served with a warm smile. The staff were always kind, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. A special mention has to go to Lahcen, the best host we have ever had. He truly went above and beyond in every way possible. From organizing excursions to simply checking in on us, he made sure our entire stay was stress-free, smooth, and joyful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his warm, caring nature made all the difference. Thanks to Lahcen, this trip felt like a true holiday in every sense of the word. We didn’t just fall in love with Riad Cinnamon and the magical city of Marrakech, we also feel incredibly grateful to have met Lahcen. He is without a doubt one of the biggest reasons we are already dreaming of coming back. Thank you for everything!

We honestly cannot think of a single thing we didn’t like, everything was simply perfect from start to finish. Our stay at Riad Cinnamon was the definition of comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality.

It needs maintenance- from the walls, the little pool, and the bathroom in the room. The property is old which makes it characteristic but you can see that it’s not been taking care properly over the time. Also the property style doesn’t match the pictures on booking. The bathroom in our room was old and the water had no pressure. Lots of stairs even in the room and the bed was not that comfortable. Old furnitures and windows cracked and need cleaning. Not in the best location, taxi can drop you off at a certain spot in the medina than you need to walk 7 mins to reach the riad - which is quite hidden. Not a nice walk to do late at night

Location wise we couldn’t have been more central! The Rhiad is an oasis int hr middle of the Souks. Mosh-im and all the staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time, giving restaurant recommendations, organising taxis, coming out to meet us when we were lost and the breakfasts were amazing!

The rooms are authentic but a little dark. Our suite had a mezzanine level with a tv and sofa but the ceiling was so low we couldn’t actually sit up there. It didn’t affect our experience at all though.

The staff at the hotel were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The hotel was an oasis of calm from the bustle from outdoors. It was great to be met at the airport and transferred first by taxi and then by foot - or we wouldn't have found the Riad! Our room was nice. The mint tea and snacks we were given each day were delicious. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.

The room was a little dark and whilst my bed was comfortable, my friend found hers less so. The plumbing in the bathroom was a bit iffy - but I guess this is just because it was an old building.

Great breakfast, which varied every day a bit and very amicable staff !! Mohsin is an amazing host and he is available for any question or help. we got a water bottle every day during our stay and tea is served with nice cookies or nuts when asked for and at arrival. 2/4 beds were quite comfortable. room and bathroom were clean. bathroom is private and has a door. (read in some other riads that is not the case). location is at the beginning of the soeks (markets) so a taxi by the door is not possible but you can reach it within a few minutes walking.

Communication with the property is not made directly with the property. Is through another person that is sitting in London. Here I have to complain as I requested dinner for my first night with more than 24h in advance (as requested by the site) and that was not known in the property and not answered by messages with Andrew, Also some other questions were also not answered before i arrived which didn't give me the nicest feeling. Upon arrival was explained to me that they were unaware of my requests as they are not the ones answering these messages. 2/4 beds were rock hard. of course it's a personal preference.

Brahim, Zahra and co. were the most hospitable, warm, and caring staff at the property- ever ready to serve us with a smile and promptness. We went in shoulder season so we had the entire riad to ourselves, and that also meant the staff's full attention! :) This is so close to the main roads, especially Rue Mouassine which was beautiful and still has my heart! Eating out wise the options around are Le Jardin, Kui Zin, Soul, and plenty cute coffee shops and the likes. We found hidden treasures - such as, a lovely artisanal shop where mirror craft was being created right there, a lovely shop down the road from Soul restaurant which had the best raffia wares, and many more very reasonably priced shops compared to the main souks. The breakfast was quite elaborate with eggs and toast with coffee with an additional offering of some traditional eats like msemen, beghrir etc also on the menu. Brahim and co. were quick to arrange for cabs/ guides suited to our timings and budget.

The lane does have a lot of cats - so cat piss is a constant smell of the 'hood, but well, carry mint or just cover up your nose!

Lovely staff, probably the best treatment we had in Morocco. Very peaceful atmosphere. The bathroom and shower felt very nice.

Although the bed and bathroom was amazing, the rest of the furniture and decorations felt a little cheap and out of place. It was not a major issue, but modern-ish couches and Buddha statues felt a little strange. Also, the small street was a little hard to find and was very much under construction, so getting there was a little muddy.

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly with mint tea. The riad was scented and looked really inviting. Mohsin and Sahira really looked after us with beautifully prepared breakfasts and freshly made rooms. No request was too much. If we were lost (most days) we were guided. If we were hungry we were helped with where we wanted to go. Our stay was really enjoyable and we loved every minute of it and it was because of Mohsin and Sahira. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Definitely recommend. Ideal location and right in the heart of the medina.

The breakfast was amazing as well as Mohsin and his team being so lovely and welcoming from the first day to the last! The Riad is so close to all the key locations - we walked everywhere from here and did not need to get a taxi apart from when we arrived and left to the airport. The staff were friendly, made us feel at home and we were really sad to leave them and the Riad. I had the most beautiful trip and memories and will be coming back to this same place again in the near future. We also had a girls trip and felt extremely safe during our stay here.
