The riad of the light was an absolute blessing of a riad and the team was nothing less than incredible. When i first arrived at the riad i was welcomed by then nicest man, he not only recommended me places to visit during my stay but also recommended me his favorite places to have dinner, told me to use “ la shukran” when someone wants to sell me something and i didn’t want to buy it but on top of that he also told me places to avoid after a certain time since it wasn’t that safe in those places. Not only him but the night guard and the morning lady were incredible and so kind, after i ask to have breakfast the first time the morning lady would ask me if i wanted to have breakfast the next day and the day after, her breakfast was incredible, really delicious and filling. The breakfast consisted out of Moroccan pancakes, waffles, fruit, a little cake or an egg with some jams, butter and thee or coffee. She really pays attention to how you eat your breakfast cus the first two days i didn’t eat the banana slices she put in the fruit bowl and after that i didn’t have one slice of banana in my fruit, on my last two days there she had already laid out the plate and cutlery for me to have breakfast. The night guard was amazing, he’s super nice and really looks out for you. I had a very early hot air balloon ride and i told him so he could just sleep well and he would ask me if i wanted him to talk to the car with me and if i was sure after telling him that i would be fine and that you could go to sleep, he would tell me that if i needed his help he would be there to walk me to the car from the riad. He would ask me how my day was and how the tour was etc. The riad it self is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, the balcony gives you a beautiful view to see the sunrise and sunset, the cat is really sweet, all the furniture is comfortable the terrace and the balcony are gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Marrakech

Nothing, everything was perfect

We liked everything and everyone in Riad. The stay was amazing and we felt like home. Mohamed is a lovely host, so helpful and accommodating and nice and friendly on top of that. Wafa the lady that was serving us breakfast is so nice and friendly. One morning after breakfast she put music... some kind of piano music. Omg... I thought I was in heaven. The place smells so nice, looks very aesthetic and music on top of that was just pure heaven. Her and Mohamed are the soul of the Riad. And Nado the cat as well. Such a friendly cat.The food was amazing. Dinners are to die for. So delicious. We just loved everything and felt very looked after.

The Riad is small and not fancy in any way but it makes up for it with incredibly friendly and relaxed staff that puts you at ease as well as lovely chill vibe in general. The place is smaller than it looks in pictures but I was ok with that. the terrace is very cute and I highly recommend having an early breakfast there on your first day. You are in the middle of the Souks of the medina but once you are inside the Riad it feel like you are somewhere else, quite, cool and they play lovely relaxing sounds in the ground floor.

The property was centrally located and the staff were so kind and helpful. They make your bed every day and have the best value breakfast (€4!) They also have a lovely balcony which you can chill in the afternoon - given how close it is to centre, it can be a quick break from the hustle and bustle that’s not too far away. Despite it being so central - it was very quiet, great AC as well. The price you pay for this is unbelievable value for money - if you are only staying in Marrakesh for 2-4 days, couldn’t recommend enough, a true hidden gem.

The staff were very helpful, friendly although they don't speak fluent English. The guy who pick us up on our arrival told us some excelent restaurants, we tried them all. He also did his best to fix the air conditioning. The temperature was 46 that day, so it was very hot. They changed us to another room for one night while they fix it. The terrace is very nice, we went almost every night with some mint tea, it was a relaxing time Breakfast is complete and very good, also in the terrace. We will definitely repeat if we ever go back yo Marrakech. We have a lovely time in this Riad.

The fact that the very first day the air conditioning wasn't working on one of he hottest day in Marrakech . Although they fix it the next day. We lost some time waiting for the resolution

The staff were all beyond kind and an easy highlight. They helped with any questions we had at any time. The riad smelt great, and felt very homely, with only 4 rooms. The terrace was amazing, with a good breakfast every morning. Value for money was exceptional, with breakfast included and help at almost any hour. Location was great, being slightly down an alley so no noise, but only 10-20 minutes from most things.

I did have a cockroach in my room, although I removed it and had no more throughout the stay. A couple of the bulbs in the room had gone by the time we left, although a simple fix. There was water dripping from the bathroom slide door - unknown cause although might of just been carried from the shower Worth noting the increased costs of the stay opposed to booking.com site

The owners were really lovely and provided us with any information we needed. The room were clean and comfortable. Being a light sleeper, I considered our room to be really quiet despite the location. Breakfast was amazing and generous. The internet was also very reliable.

The entry to the property is located via a souk so it is a short walk from where the taxi drops you which can be tricky with large suitcases off however really helpful instructions were provided to help with navigation to the property.

I stayed in the most beautiful, elegant-looking hotel. The rooms are unique, with stunning views. Room rates are also reasonable. I received first-class service from the moment I arrived at the hotel until the moment I left. The excellent location of the hotel is a big plus. The facilities were top-notch, and the view from my room was simply amazing.I really liked the location in the city center and the atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

This riad is so cute and cozy. It smells nice as well. I'm impressed with the cleanliness. The staff are very helpful and provided excellent services, all of them. The riad is located in a convenience area but once you're in the riad, you can isolate yourself from the outside and you feel like home in the riad. However, the road is not wide enough for a taxi to enter the road. Therefore, you need to get off at school and walk for 3-5 mins to the riad. There are lots of nice restaurants, café for both normal and rooftop style as well. I highly recommend staying at this riad. Your trip to Marrakech will be more memorable for sure.

The room is quite small but I love it anyway. I was hoping they would offer savory food for breakfast and no water provided in the room as well, but I really enjoyed staying. Thank you.

Beautiful riad based in a great location within the medina. Just steps from the hustle and bustle this is a peaceful oasis of calm. Really handy for any excursions as its minutes away from a main pickup/drop off spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and don't forget the cat! Breakfast was plentiful and served on the gorgeous roof top terrace. The room was comfortable and clean.
