Friendly, welcoming, comfortable, great location. Great cat (Simba) if you don't like cats don't worry he is magnificently aloof and will leave you alone. Near the noisy and frenetic main square and the souks but quiet and calm, a great contrast and place to relax after a day in the busy Medina. Close to most of the Museums and Palaces and lots of restaurants. Ahmed and his staff were very friendly and helpful, great breakfasts and a lovely shaded roof terrace for breakfast and to relax on in the evenings.

Tucked away so very quiet at night - beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean -as a solo traveller I didn’t venture out after dark and it was a perfectly homely place to come back to to chill -lovely breakfast on the beautiful roof terrace -Simba, the cat!!! -Ahmed and the staff went above and beyond to make my time enjoyable from sitting down with me and working out routes on a map and booking taxis -I felt very safe and well looked after

The Riad is well located for the tourist sights - most are walkable from the Riad. High standard of cleanliness throughout and the beds were comfortable and the shower strong with plenty of hot water! Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to advise us to make the most of our stay in Marrakesh. Tasty and filling breakfast as well! Would certainly recommend to others.

The location was a little difficult to locate at first (the taxi driver can get you to the main square and then it is 5-10 minute walk from there). It is worth considering taking the services of the Riad staff to meet you at the Hotel/Cafe de France and guiding you through the alleys of the souk to the Riad Boussa on your initial arrival. After that first visit we found it easy to locate.

Ahmed, our host, was very understanding about 'jet lag.' I loved the breakfast terrace and the offerings were similar but varied each day. Fruit, yogurt, preserves, two types of baked breads and as much coffee as needed to break the grip of jet lag!

Some co-habitants were not comfortable with the quiet back alley location. At night the alley lights were sometimes out and I needed my cellphone to guide my way. That said, I loved how we were in the middle of everything but very quiet once inside the riad.

No keys for customers to access Riad so must knock for entry an all hours. Inconvenient for staff and customers especially in difficult to find and dark location. Also, facility held on to room keys when not present in building which was concerning given valuables left in the room - I trusted the staff but felt the arrangement odd and not advertised in booking dot com listing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Boussa and it was in large part due to Ahmed the host/manager. He went so far above and beyond with his recommendations (was even able to set up a tour in Spanish within 3 hours of our arrival) and hospitality that we felt like family. The room was comfortable and our two kids loved sleeping in little loft above. The breakfast was also plentiful. The area outside the riad was interesting, but we grew to appreciate living like a local and wanted to be right in the medina.

Everything was great…the cleanliness was ok.

The breakfasts were excellent and served on the lovely roof terrace. They were vegetarian and catered for a gluten free diet. The location was central yet very peaceful. We got e taxi from the airport, they were able to drop us about 5 minutes walk from the riad but it was easy to find with Google maps. Ahmed and the team were so helpful and friendly and all their recommendations were great, including the Isis Hammam.

Really very little, but as others have said the shower could be a little unpredictable

It was our first time at a Riad, but it was so worth the experience - a traditional Moroccan style accommodation. The Medina is buys, loud and chaotic (in a good way) but once you walk into the Riad, there’s absolute peace and quiet within the walls. Breakfast was served at the rooftop terrace. Our host Ahmed was extremely helpful and very responsive even before we arrived. There’s a hammam spa about 100 meters away. It was a truly pleasant experience and we are so glad we opted for a Riad!

We received such a warm welcome, it was much appreciated. Our room was beautiful and decorated so uniquely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Ahmed and Mehmet were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We asked if they could help us with information on a couple of things and they were very obliging. The housekeepers were cheery and always had smiles on their faces. Breakfasts were delicious and ample. Would recommend

I cannot think of anything negative to say about this property

The riad is in a very central location, beautifully appointed. Roof terrace is a special delight. Ahmed and Mohammed were wonderfully kind, polite and helpful. I have never experienced anyone set a breakfast table with the care and attention given at Riad Boussa. Food was delicious and my gluten free requirement was accommodated. Wonderful stay, highly recommended and hope to visit again. Thank you so much!
