An unforgettable stay in the heart of Morocco Our stay at Dar En-Nawat was a real pleasure from start to finish. The hotel impresses with its authentic Moroccan architecture, which creates a welcoming atmosphere and immediately immerses you in the country's rich culture and history. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and furnished with great attention to detail, reflecting the traditional charm of Morocco. The beds are incredibly comfortable - you sink into them and don't want to get up again. The service at Dar En-Nawat is outstanding. Every member of staff goes out of their way to make your stay as pleasant and memorable as possible. The hospitality is warm and personal, we have never experienced hospitality like this before. The staff simply make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Khalid was always there for us, gave us tips and even took us to the taxi at 2 a.m. on the day of departure. Thanks to him and the whole team we had such a great stay. Many thanks to Khalid, Mohammed, Abdul and Pierre. The cuisine was undoubtedly a highlight of my stay. The hotel restaurant offers an excellent selection of traditional Moroccan dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Every dish was a culinary experience that perfectly showcased the diversity of Moroccan flavors. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the beauty of Morocco. Whether it's the lively markets, historical sights or the breathtaking scenery, everything is within easy reach. In addition, the hotel offers helpful tips and assistance in planning excursions and activities to ensure you make the most of your stay. In conclusion, our stay at Dar En-Nawat was a truly enriching experience. The perfect blend of traditional charm, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere makes this hotel an ideal place for anyone wanting to experience the real Morocco. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can highly recommend the Dar En-Nawat.

The Riad is centrally located but at the same time quiet, on a side street. The decor is unique and very well thought out down to the smallest detail. The common areas and bedrooms are tastefully furnished, very clean and cozy. The terrace is a real oasis of peace, to regain some tranquility on your way back from the medina. The breakfast is rich, with homemade and high-quality products. The staff is really kind, helpful and friendly and helped make our stay unforgettable. Thank you so much again for everything!

If you plan to stay in Marrakesh, Riad Dar En-Nawat is the place to choose. Our hosts were more than friendly and willing to help us at any time. We felt very comfortable like being at home. The breakfast was great and more than enough to keep you full through out the morning. Our room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The Riad is located very close to the main square and really easy to find. Thank you Khalid, Abdu, Pierre and Mohamed for the pleasant stay. Hope to see you again.

We cannot recommend this riad more! A perfect location and an authentic experience from start to finish. The attention to detail is amazing, the riad is beautifully decorated, and the terrace is peaceful. An oasis. Mohammed and Khalid were incredibly friendly and hospitable, and would do anything to make us feel welcome. They were very quick to get in touch and at hand to give advice when we arrived, including where to go and what to avoid. The bed was super comfortable and the riad is in a quiet location for how close it is to the main square. Absolutely perfect, 10/10. 👌

Breakfast was excellent and the location was amazing just 5 minutes to Jemaa El Fna. The Riad is clean and quiet, it has a welcoming peaceful atmosphere. I want to talk about the manager Khaled and the owner as well, they are extraordinary people. My mother who was the guest, on her third night, my mom got very sick and had stomach problems, vomiting, and pain, so Khaled took my mother to the emergency room and made sure she was doing fine. When they returned to riad, the owner waited at the door to check if my mom was good. Khaled made a warm Zaatar drink for Mom so that she felt better. They treated her as family. I am so glad and pleased to have chosen Riad Dar En Nawat, amazing place, location, food, atmosphere, and above all amazing staff who have the human touch. Thank you so much to the owner, Khaled, Abd Essadek, and everyone working at the riad.

The location of the riad was very nice, yet still very quiet. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, especially when we had complaints or were dissatisfied with something; they were always there to assist. We got to know Abdul and Mohamed in particular, therefore a big thank you to both of them. We are really glad to have met them both, such warm people.

The bathroom was a bit small. Sometimes it felt too cramped. Also, the room was a bit too dark. You couldn’t always open the windows because people outside could see into the room.

The best riad in the whole Morocco. 100% worth a little higher price than other, also nice accommodation around. Very clean, very well decorated. Riad has a beautiful, well maintained terrace and separate restaurant area. Staff is super nice and helpful. It was the best decision I made during my 4 visits in Morocco. Very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa square, in the heart of Medina. For me it’s 11/10 and I rarely give 10. Thank you and see you next time!!!!! Definitely!!!!!!

Absolutely nothing, we lover everything.

Completely surpassed the expectations we had! I had read the reviews beforehand and kept seeing comments on how kind, friendly, and hospitable Khalid was. Once you arrive and experience the kindness and hospitality of all the staff, you will realise why the comments say this. Mohammed and Abdul were also amazing! I had travelled with my wife and toddler and we were made to feel like family staying there. We were all blown away by the beauty of this Riad and the rich history behind it. The room was clean and comfortable, having everything to meet our needs and was cleaned daily- important when you have a toddler you are changing nappies for. The breakfast was all homemade- some of the best food we've had on our travels honestly. We loved the roof terrace and spent some afternoons just chilling here and reading. Khalid was always attentive towards us and our baby. My location of the Riad is ideal as it is close to the main square with lots of great markets to shop around. Overall we were so pleased with our experience. We hope to return to Morocco insha'Allah and stay with Khalid once again!

Nothing to complain about- there were so many positives from the experience I cannot think of any bad experiences we had. Only negative is that we did not stay long enough!

The location was superb, you are minutes to the main square. We were able to choose between two rooms when we arrived and we picked the rooftop room and did not disaapointed. It felt like a little private roof top to us during the after when you can sit outside and relax for awhile till the sun goes down.

The hot water boiler took forever to reboil, the 2nd person will always need to wait for at least 40mins till you can have a proper hot shower.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, we weren't sure what to expect but booked due to the excellent reviews. The facilities shown for the room we booked were not quite as expected, we did have a bathroom joining our room (with no lock), Air conditioning was an electric fan on the wall, Toilet, Towels, Linen, Socket near the bed, Tile (not marble) floor, Seating Area (small table and 2 chairs), Hairdryer, Outdoor dining area, Patio, Dining area, Dining table, Upper floors were accessible by stairs only, Clothes rail, Toilet paper, shampoo and shower gel. Coffee house/restaurant on site could imply that it is always available but it's not a restaurant, just a room to eat breakfast in. The rooms were unique and had lovely ceilings etc. Although the bolts to lock the doors added character to match the decor, they were noisy when locking/unlocking and you had to bend your head to get in/out to avoid banging it. The host Khalid and his staff were very friendly and took good care of us, Khalid helped us with the language barrier with some bookings we had made prior. Breakfast was very tasty and although there was not anyone around the first morning to check allergies with, Khalid was available by Whatsapp thereafter. The property is not accessible by car/taxi (in an alley) and the nearest meeting point for the taxi is a few minutes walk. We felt safe to be walking around the property and area at all times, it is minutes walk from the square and in a central location.

The following were advertised when we booked; 'View' - was not a view from our room as such, safety deposit box - not in our room, 'bath' or shower - only a basic shower no bath, cleaning products - none in room, Iron - not in our room. Soundproof - not our room.
