The host Moustafa was amazing, so knowledgeable and helpful. He was really friendly and gave us lots of hints and tips for navigating the Medina. The hotel were very flexible and arranged a breakfast for us one morning before standard hours as we had a tour. They also organised a taxi for us to leave and Moustafa walked us to the meeting point with our case. The Riad was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was great on a lovely roof terrace. Felt very secure with 24hr concierge.

The room was a little small, especially when arriving with a big suitcase as there was limited space to hang clothes/leave the suitcase. The room was on the ground floor and the doors opened out to the small pool which was beautiful, however the doors and windows meant that noise from the shared spaces was heard and did wake us up a few times. I would recommend bringing ear plugs!

Fantastic riad, but what really made it was the staff. Delphine was incredibly attentive and helpful in the lead up to the trip, helping to arrange transfers, meals and give advice on getting cash and sim cards. Mustapha (the manager) was amazing, coming in on his day off to greet us, even though our flight was delayed and showing us all the local sights. Soumia cooked incredible meals; the breakfast was 10/10 and definitely take advantage of her tagine if you can! Lastly, Wilad was so helpful in getting us settled in and couldn’t have been more helpful. Beautiful riad, very clean and with great staff - will definitely be returning!

We've been to many beautiful places and stayed in lovely accommodations – but Mustapha's hospitality topped them all. From the very first minute, we felt truly welcome and well taken care of. He was always available for any questions we had, and his tips were incredibly helpful. The interior is stunning, and everything is spotlessly clean. If we come back to Marrakech, it will definitely be here. The location is actually great, though it takes a bit of getting used to at first, as you have to walk through several small alleys. But that’s the case with almost every riad in the city. With Google Maps, it’s easy to find your way around. And on the first day, we were personally picked up on foot from the taxi stand, which was very helpful.

The only thing that could maybe be improved is adding a bit more variety to breakfast – perhaps something savory to balance out all the sweet options.

NYC-based architect and fashion executive: this was an exceptionally beautiful riad with an amazing courtyard, rooftop, and surprisingly bright rooms (most riads in Morocco have very dark bedrooms to keep them cool without A/C), and the woodwork is particularly notable. Mustapha and the rest of the 24/7 on-site staff are SO wonderful, every one of them in their own way. Whether serving you breakfast (included) or dinner (get the lemon chicken tajine and eat on the rooftop on your first and last night!), accommodating dietary restrictions, arranging excursions, or walking you through nearby souks to get to a cab, they will make you feel safe and at home in an otherwise very overwhelming city. Five stars to these great people and thank you. My only negative note has less to do with this riad specifically than Marrakech generally: when you leave the more touristed part of the Medina to head home at night, the streets are spooky: narrow and labyrinthian, no lighting, stray animals, and if a mosque lets out from prayer there will be 50+ men loitering in the dark side streets. This is frightening especially, obviously, for a woman; but something that is probably true everywhere in the city. Be aware and be smart. Would love to come back to this special place, thank you again.

The breakfast was amazing. So tasty and filling. Also the food available as snacks was probably the best food we tried in the trip. The highlight of the stay was Mustapha who was like a beacon of calm in such a busy city. He was excellent at providing guidance and direction but also great recommendations. Wish we knew many of the things before. It was also great to get a physical map of the city. He was very attentive and very service minded.

Forgot about the city tax so it was a bit surprising at the end so it would've been nice to be told again in the beginning. The doors were not really tight so privacy was a bit compromised and a few nights there were some really loud guests outside our door which was annoying but not too bad. It was a bit unclear if we could've used the pool but since no one said anything and no one used it we assumed it's not for use. Would've been nice.

Everything! The location, cleanliness, friendliness of the staff and the Riad was very tranquil. The location is in the heart of Marrakech but you can easily escape the busy streets by staying and unwinding in the Riad: from relaxing in the pool to reading your book on their rooftop terrace. The rooms are exceptionally clean, spacious and equipped with all the necessary requirements for a short or long stay. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the Riad extra special and will assist in arranging transport and excursions should you be interested! Definitely opt in for the breakfast as it really sets you up for the day and you can never get enough of the Moroccon Tea! Thank you so much for making our stay and experience in Marrakech extra special - I would fully recommend this Riad and will be coming back to stay in the future.

Nothing comes to mind, I loved everything about the staff and the Riad.

We arrived at Riad Djebel after a 2-night trip to the desert so were tired and dusty! The kindness of the staff and the calm, attractive ambiance of the riad made us feel immediately relaxed. Our room was lovely and in keeping with the whole riad where everything was designed to look simple and stylish, but also comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic - lovely products, great lighting and a powerful shower - just what you need after a long trip. We decided to eat in the riad on our first night and the food was excellent - probably the best tagine of our entire trip - served to us in the main lounge area beside the small pool which was tranquil and candlelit. Breakfast was delicious too. At every point, all the staff were the perfect hosts - friendly, genuine with nothing too much trouble. They really made us feel special and as this was our final stop in Morocco, we ended on a high.

Breakfast on the roof terrace was wonderful, the facilities at the riad were excellent but way above all of that was the way in which Mustapha, the manager, met and exceeded every expectation we could have imagined. He met us at the nearest drop-off point to guide us to the (well-hidden) riad and, thereafter, any questions we had, any requests we made, any help we needed, was given in abundance, with courtesy and enthusiasm. Mustapha is an overwhelming asset to this place.

Our room was a bit smaller than we'd anticipated; however, that's down to us - we could have chosen a larger space (although it wasn't necessarily apparent on the website).

We went there for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! Breakfast was amazing the food prepared by Soumia was top notch! the stuff made our stay exceptional. They were very welcoming, friendly, we felt so at ease! They explained evenrything to us about the city and kept checking if everything was up to our expectations. Cherry on top, we got a room upgrade in our last night and a box of morrocan sweets, and it was great! I cannot recommend this Riad enough! Definitely would come back if I go to Marrakech

The riad was genuinely stunning. The food was excellent, the staff were phenomenal and it was generally an incredibly lovely stay. The rooftop terrace is an amazing spot for relaxing and unwinding! Stunning in the morning where we had breakfast each day. In particular, one of the staff members working at night (Mohammed) went above and beyond when my partner was unwell, he kindly walked with me to find medications for her. We will not forget his generosity and he made the stay so comfortable throughout always looking out for us! His kindness truly reflected the whole ethos of the workers at this Riad. We definitely would love to come again!

Just two very small things to note. The location - though close to the city centre, we found that some very dodgy people can wait around in the narrow streets around the Riad at night time. These streets don’t tend to be very busy, with minimal tourists, but I can imagine if you were walking alone at night this may not be as comfortable compared to walking with someone else or in a group. The room - we had possibly the smallest room in the riad with the least amount of light so it felt a little bit enclosed. Nevertheless it was incredibly comfortable.
