If you are looking for elegance, luxury and calm, Road Dar Yasaman will absolutely not disappoint. The staff were warm, courteous, and more than happy to make every accommodation for us. The Riad itself is absolutely stunning with it's green tiles and huge central palm tree, it was truly special. The location is also great, just far enough from the anarchy of souks to feel calm and relaxed, but close enough to be back in the thick of it within a few minutes. And if you're reading this to help you choose between rooms, I can't recommend the deluxe suite enough. The room and view are gorgeous, the bed is enormous, and the gigantic bath is incredible (just give it a while to fill).

Only thing to note is that there's no safe and you can't lock your door when you're out, but as it's a small Riad with super attentive staff, we never really felt that this was an issue.

Staying at the hotel in Marrakech was an absolutely enchanting experience. The beauty of the Riad was beyond words, with its stunning architecture and intricate decor that perfectly captured the essence of Moroccan charm. Every corner of the Riad was a visual delight, from the lush courtyard with its sparkling fountain to the beautifully designed rooms that exuded elegance and comfort. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect. Their warm smiles and attentive service made me feel truly welcome and cared for. Whether it was providing local tips, arranging excursions, or simply making sure I had everything I needed, their dedication was exceptional. The hotel's location in the heart of Marrakech made it the ideal base for exploring the city. Being in the center of everything meant that I was just steps away from the vibrant souks, historic sites, and delicious restaurants. It was amazing to be able to immerse myself in the local culture and then retreat to the tranquility of the Riad. Overall, my stay at this hotel was an amazing experience that I will cherish forever. The combination of the beautiful Riad, the exceptional staff, and the prime location made it a truly unforgettable visit to Marrakech. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic and luxurious Moroccan getaway.

This riad is beautiful. It is exactly like the photos, but even better in real life. It is such a calming space to relax. The continental breakfast is lovely. The location is in the heart of the medina. The riad organised all of our taxi’s for us and the staff walked us to and from the cars to the riad. The bed linen and towels are of such high quality. The rooms are air conditioned. If you are looking to stay in Marrakech, definitely stay in this riad. The best thing about this Riad is their staff. Unfortunately the devastating earthquake in Morocco occurred during our stay. The owners and staff quickly evacuated us to a family owned property outside of the city to keep us safe. Even in such terrible circumstances, they acted so professionally in making sure we were taken care of. We have never seen hospitality like it, they opened their home to us and made us feel so safe. We will always be so grateful to all the amazing people at Riad Dar Yasaman. We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and helpful – all with a great sense of humour, which really made a difference.

There are just a couple of small suggestions for improvement. After the room was cleaned, an unpleasant smell came from the shower drain. We covered the drain with a towel and the bin, and the smell disappeared. It might be worth including this as part of the housekeeping routine. Additionally, there were four pillows on the bed and all of them were very thick, which made it difficult for us to sleep on the first night. When I requested a softer, fluffier pillow, I was given a cushion from an armchair in the lobby – which was much better. It would be great if the riad could keep one or two spare, thinner pillows available for guests who prefer a different type. Aside from that, everything else was excellent and we will definitely be booking this hotel again.

The riad is located in a quieter area so it is a real island of peace where you can return to relax a bit from the busy medina. Luxury interior and very comfortable lounge areas on the rooftop, the jacuzzi is the cherry on top! Tasty and plentiful breakfast. But the real treasure is the wonderful staff, especially Ali and Mohamed. They were super nice, welcoming and always ready to help if needed, they even prepared breakfast early in the morning for us when we had to leave early on the last day. I'd absolutely recommend this place for anyone visiting Marrakech.

The standard room is a bit small, not enough space to store luggage an clothes so it might not be the best option for a longer stay. The sink in the bathroom had sewer smell, not a huge problem after all but it was a bit unpleasant

We stayed at this beautiful Riad in the medina for 3 nights and can honestly say that we found a true gem in the heart of Marrakech. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive to our every need. After being welcomed with mint tea we were shown to our room (and fabulous bathroom complete with robes, soft towels and luxurious toiletries.) The bed was so comfortable that it was hard to get up in the morning. However the delicious breakfast (eggs, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pastries, coffee and even a most welcome large mug of black tea - with cold milk on the side!) served on the peaceful roof terrace became a treat to look forward to before some long, hot days of sightseeing in the city. Equally fantastic was the opportunity to have a refreshing dip in the pool on the terrace and a snooze in the sunshine at the end of the afternoon. The Riad dar Yasaman is tucked away in a quiet area of the Medina, close enough to walk to all the sites of interest, but far enough away from the touristy mayhem on the main square. 10/10 from us!

Our stay at Riad Dar Yasaman was amazing! What made it truly special was the incredible hospitality of Ali and Abdel. Ali was so warm and helpful, always going out of his way to make sure we had a great time. He even made reservations for us and shared some really interesting insights about Marrakech and its hidden gems. We loved chatting with him! The rooftop jacuzzi was such a treat. After a long trip to the desert, relaxing in the heated jacuzzi and soaking up the sun on the sundeck was exactly what we needed to recharge. The location is super convenient, right by a square and just a short walk from where taxis drop you off. It made getting around so easy. The riad itself is so calm and cozy, with beautiful green accents everywhere that give it such a peaceful vibe. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a busy day exploring. If you’re looking for a welcoming, relaxing, and memorable stay in Marrakech, I can’t recommend Riad Dar Yasaman enough!

We had a fantastic stay at this riad. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The riad itself is beautifully designed, with stunning attention to detail in every corner. The rooftop was a highlight, offering nice views over the city. Breakfast was exceptional, with a delicious and varied selection that exceeded our expectations. The central location made it easy to explore the medina and other key sites, yet the riad still felt like a peaceful retreat. An outstanding experience all around, and we would happily stay here again! Note: It is a bit tricky to get there by taxi, but we managed to get quite close by entering Av. Ba Ahmad from the south and getting dropped at the intersection of Rue Fral Semar and Av. Ba Ahmad. From there, it’s just a 5-minute walk.

For the price, the room size felt a bit small (for two people) and might be too small for longer stays.

The staff Ali, Abdelghafor and the chef were excellent, very friendly and always available and happy to help. The riad itself is sooooo beautifully decorated, whether it's the courtyard, the breakfast room, the bedrooms and the rooftop terrasse. We really loved it. It felt nice, relaxing and comfortable to be there. Like a little paradise island in the middle of the hustle and bustle of busy Marrakech. The bed was very comfortable and not too hard (unlike other hotels in Marrakech). The breakfast was incredible, with many options of food and drink and served directly to the table (not a buffet). We also had the opportunity to eat dinner at the riad on our first night, and although it's quite pricey, it is 100% worth it! The food is incredible, I felt I was in a Michelin star restaurant with a personal chef and waiter. Thank you all for the lovely stay it was really hard to leave...

It was a shame the hot tub was not hot during our stay (pump broken) so we were a bit disappointed we could not use it because we were looking forward to it. Something minor but there was sometimes a "sewage smell" in our bathroom, and the water temperature and pressure in the shower were not the best. Small note for other travellers: the mosque is just next to the riad so the call to prayer at 5am is quite loud. Bring some earplugs.

We can’t rate this place highly enough. This truly felt like a home away from home and we already can’t wait to return. Instant relaxation from the moment you enter the riad - the decor is absolutely beautiful and the staff are so kind and thoughtful. Huge shoutout to Ali and Rafik for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome- your enthusiasm, warmth and generosity touched our hearts. Helping us on our 6am hot air balloon trip and making sure we retuned back to the UK safely. Breakfast was phenomenal and plenty of it meaning we didn’t need much until dinner! Wish we’d eaten at the riad for dinner as the food always smelt incredible. Room and bed was so gorgeous and comfortable. The complimentary soap smelt amazing! Location perfect, so close to everything and felt like you were staying in a less touristy area. Felt super safe and we spent many afternoons on the rooftop relaxing and soaking up the ambiance. It’s perfect and we can’t wait to be back!
