This is a gorgeous little riad in a great location for exploring but in a quiet little corner of the medina. The staff are all absolutely lovely and really welcoming. For the price, the standard of the riad is amazing. The central courtyard is lovely and there is a lounge area for relaxing. We loved our breakfast every morning and were so touched on the last day when we had to leave early and were given a packed breakfast to take with us. We'd recommend this place to anyone.

I don't have anything bad to say, you cannot complain about this riad. We were sad to be leaving. It can be noisy outside but you wouldn't stay in a medina if you were concerned about noise. And the riad itself is very peaceful.

This was my first experience of staying at a Riad and I was very pleasantly surprised. This establishment is spotlessly clean with the most charming and helpful staff that go out of their way to make sure your trip is as comfortable as possible. The food at breakfast and in the evening is simple and homely and in fact, the word 'homely' is the one I would choose to describe the comfort and security that one feels at the Riad Le Bel Oranger. If I have the opportunity to travel to Marrakesh again, I will stay here.

In terms of price for the service and accommodation, there is nothing that we did not like.

Everything exceeded expectations, we were going for a budget riad and chose this one due its location and price. We're very experienced budget travelers and are used to unclean and cheap hotels / apartments. However the entire facility is very clean, the staff are super friendly and the location is close to everything in Marrakech. The rooms are very comfortable, and the main area in the riad is very nice. There's also a roof area with a pretty nice view. The staff was definitely the best part of our stay, they were very friendly and really cared about our experience. They gave us very good tips on where to eat and what to visit. Without that guidance our stay in Marrakesh wouldn't have been the same!

My only problem was that the breakfast might be a little too sweet. This is however a matter of opinion, there's nothing wrong with what is offered. The coffee was amazing however!

The staff was very kind and attentive. The room was clean and was as shown in the pictures. We could enjoy the stay and we had a warm welcome: when we arrived at the Riad for the check-in we were served tee and cookies.

The breakfast started only after 8:15 and we had booked several tours in which me and my friends were picked up around 8:00, so there wasn't available time to eat in the morning. The breakfast should start at least 7:00 in a touristic place like this.

The Riad is very authentic. The roof top is great. The staff is very helpful and polite. They speak English. The day of our departure we could leave our luggage in the hotel without asking it. Although it is in the middle of the city, it was very calm.

It is not the fault of the riad just to help other visitors. We have been there by car and it was quite difficult to find the Riad. In front of it there are enough space to cars and you do not have to pay for it. Unfortunately we had some guys who asked 50MAD for the parking. Do not do that, just ask the personnel of the Riad, they will help you to deal with these local guys.

The place is beautiful and gracefully decorated and the location is very strategic, in the heart of the Medina. The food is great, with rich breakfasts and tasty, freshly cooked dinners. The best tajine I had in Marrakesh was in this riad! But what really makes this place outstanding is the kindness and friendliness of the whole staff! Mohamed, Najib, Fowsia and the rest of the staff was always very helpful and attentive and always welcomed us with a smile ! Special mention to Najid who went always above and beyond with his help, insigthful tips and recommendations! We felt like at home! Thank you, we will be back!

Excellent location for excursions on foot around the Medina. I do recommend asking for a driver to pick you up the first time when you arrive though, as it can be a little confusing to find. On my first day in Morocco I was greeted with mint tea, a map of the city and some tourism tips, which was hugely appreciated. I also recommend eating there at least once - I did and the chicken-lemon tajine was the best meal I had in Marrakech. Just phenomenal! It's an old building (as you'd expect from a Riad) but well maintained. Beds are clean, the small staff are professional and helpful. The Riad owes its name to the orange tree growing in the inner courtyard, which scents the air with its sweet blossoms. It's a safe, cozy corner to retreat to after the sensory overload that is Marrakech's medina.

I couldn't get the aircon to work (might just be my monkey brain, I didn't ask because I didn't really need it).

*Best riad in Marrakesh* It was my second time in this riad and I would repeat it 100 times again! The place is very warm, cozy and welcoming. The rooms are big and the beds are even bigger. The riad is impecable, always clean and they clean the rooms everyday. The shower works perfect and there is always hot water. But the best part of it is Najib, since the moment you come in the door he is very welcoming, sweet and caring, if there is any problem in the room or you need help to move in the city… any problem you may have he is always there and ready to help. The breakfasts are really good, I still miss them! I would 100% recommend this riad to all my friends and family who want to visit Marrakesh! Having a good place to stay makes the trip 100 times better! Thank you Najib, we will defenitely come back!

Everything was very good, the staff were always very friendly. I have to highlight Ismail, who was an excellent host – always attentive and genuinely kind. The breakfast was also very good.

The riad could use some renovation, especially improving the rooms and adding more light inside them. However, this did not affect our excellent stay in any way.

A great value for money option! Riad is authentic and conveniently located. The staff was fiendly and helpful. I can totally reccomend this riad!

The only reason for the reduced score is that we couldn't check in as soon as we arrived, we had to wait for a person. But we were not in a hurry, so it was not a problem for us at all. If you are in a hurry, I guess you should let the owners know your arrival time in advance to avoid the wait
