We absolutely loved our stay at this Riad! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and treated with such kindness and care. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and looked after throughout our stay. The breakfast was simply fantastic – fresh, delicious, and different every single day, which made it even more special. We also really appreciated the extra care when we arrived: being met at the street and helped with the transfer from and back to the airport was truly outstanding. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore Marrakech while still feeling like a peaceful retreat when coming back.

If you’re looking for a riad with a relaxing atmosphere, quiet surroundings, impeccable cleanliness, and attention to detail, then this is the perfect riad for you. It’s located very close to the entrance of the souks, just slightly outside, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. The way to get there is very easy and calm, and we always felt safe. The staff is very kind—although breakfast officially starts at 8:00, they always served it to us at 7:30 because we had early excursions. It’s a very comfortable riad with access to a lovely rooftop. We felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location was excellent, and the breakfast was amazing — with something new to enjoy every morning. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable.

The room was much smaller than expected, and the layout felt a bit impractical. The bathroom door couldn’t be fully closed and could only be locked from the outside, which was quite inconvenient. The bathroom wasn’t completely enclosed — the wall didn’t extend all the way to the ceiling, which affected privacy.

Everything was charming — the ambience, the quietness, and the location. The staff who look after the place were very polite and welcoming. It was heartwarming to be greeted with a pot of Moroccan tea after my long journey! They were so kind and went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable. They even kindly helped me find a taxi when I left early in the morning. This small riad is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet, unassuming alley in the Riad Larousse area. Highly recommended for those who seek peace and quiet.

I recently stayed at a lovely Riad in Marrakech, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience overall. The location was perfect – just a stone's throw from the Medina, making it super easy to explore the vibrant streets and markets. For the price, the Riad offered excellent value for money. The room was a bit small, but it was perfectly fine for a short stay, and it had everything I needed. The highlight for me was definitely the delicious breakfast served every morning – fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. Kamal, the host, was incredibly welcoming and truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home. He even made Moroccan tea and coffee on request, which was a lovely touch and added a personal feel to my stay. The only issue I encountered was that the shower tended to overflow a bit during use. However, I’ve noticed that this seems to be a common issue in many places around Marrakech, so it wasn’t a major concern but would be great to have a fresh bathmat each day. All in all, I highly recommend this Riad for anyone visiting Marrakech. The location, service, and value are fantastic, and Kamal’s hospitality made my stay even more special.

Kamal, the host, and his assistant were exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and always willing to assist. They went above and beyond to help us with everything, from providing an early breakfast to assisting us after checkout with contacting our driver and navigating the neighborhood. The riad itself is wonderful. The terrace, the traditional breakfast (which varied daily with different types of pancakes, croissants, and eggs/omelets), and the rooms were all excellent. The location is also ideal, located close to many of the Medina’s most interesting spots.

The perfect combination of tradition and modernity makes the riad Lumiére a little oasis in the vibrant city of Marrakech. Very close to the main attractions and top-rated restaurants, it makes for a stay that doesn't require the use of transport. The atmosphere is very relaxing, clean and the staff incredible (Kamal was an excellent host, always in a good mood, helpful and friendly!). Note 10 for the breakfast, which was always fresh and varied. Highly recommend :)

Overall good value for money. A very pretty Riad. It has a lovely rooftop terrace with different cactuses. Host was lovely and accommodating. Breakfast was sweet aBd colourful. I had an omelette most time. The rest consists of pastries, fruit, jam and butter. Excellent location with Bacha coffee and its museum just around the corner. Souk and other important must see are very walkable too. Tuck within an alleyway away from the traffic. Prayer from a distance could be heard every early morning. But I’m very happy with the stay.

The accommodation was excellent, with a lovely roof terrace and great breakfast. The location was great, just slightly away from the main throng of action, but easily walkable. The service was exceptional, including arranging a transfer from the airport and providing an early breakfast when I had to leave early for a trip. I would definitely recommend and this would be my first choice should I return to Marrakech in the future.
