Pros - good location, very easy to navigate in souk, straightforward route to Jema El Fna - super nice staff and helpful - the shared premises in riad are very nice, including terass

Cons - humid and small rooms, there is not space to store even the luggage - overpriced restaurant - long response time or no response from riad when communicating through booking or phone

I spent my first night in Marrakech here before going on a tour and I was not disappointed. The riad is beautifully decorated, very pretty and cozy, it’s located in a convenient area for drop-off and pick-up and the staff were very welcoming. The room I got was comfortable and perfect for me, everything functioned properly and the rooftop terrace was lovely. I had my dinner there after a fantastic sunset with the colors and sounds of the Marrakech medina. As I had to leave early in the morning, the staff arranged a little breakfast takeaway for me and helped me get to the meeting point for my trip.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be the loudness of other guests in the corridors. My neighbors had quite loud conversations across the hallway from one room to another in the evening, instead of literally just stepping closer to eachother and keeping their voices down a little. So absolutely no fault at all of the staff or management, just other people who don’t understand the concept of respect in these houses that are usually not soundproofed. That’s the character of a riad, I find it baffling how some guests don’t have more consideration.

The staff went out of their way to make my stay the best possible experience. Breakfast was good and with a great view on the rooftop. Very helpful in getting to/from airport and scheduling of activities.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel in Marrakesh! My parents and children stayed there, and they were absolutely delighted with everything—the warm hospitality, the attentiveness of the hosts, and the outstanding quality of service. A special thank you to Abdeljalil, who went above and beyond to make their stay perfect. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication truly made a difference, and I am incredibly grateful for all his help. If you’re looking for a place where you will feel welcomed and well taken care of, this is definitely the right choice. We highly recommend it and will surely return!

We really loved the atmosphere. It was so calming and relaxing. We were two girls scared in the new city with a new rules, but the employees calmed us down with a delicious tea and welcoming atmosphere. They were always there for us when we needed something or wanted to know something, or they recomended us some trips as well. The place have really nice rooftop with amazing view. The food is really good there we looooved the breakfasts. They always took care of us asking how was your day? everything all right? and so on. It was nicely close to the center. It was amazing experience and we recomend this riad.🥰🥰

Staying here was perfect for a short trip. The location was great as it was easily accessible to all main attractions by foot, and it was easy to find being on a well lit street that had landmarks we could use as a guide. We absolutely loved trying the traditional Moroccan breakfast and thought it was great to get a range of food to set you up for the day. The Riad was a perfect space for tranquillity after exploring the loud, bustling streets of Marrakech. every time I stepped into the Riad the space had a comforting relaxing smell due to the spa and it really made it feel at home in a place so new to us. Note to anyone booking - Riads tend to be like huge guest houses and so you can hear quite a bit in your room with outside noise, however everyone was respectful at night. If you're a light sleeper take ear buds because the call to prayer can be quite loud and you would be situated right next to a mosque. We went during Ramadan therefore, the call to prayer was even earlier. The food is great, if you're looking to grab a post flight meal whilst waiting for your room to be ready! In particular the Pastilla if you like sweet and savoury combined!! Finally - the staff were INCREDIBLE, I have never been anywhere where the hospitality is that exceptional - huge thanks particularly to Hicham and Omar - they were extremely helpful and welcoming. They ensured we arrived safely to the Riad and back to the airport too and give you the most fantastic welcome when you arrive.

The shower room was quite small, but it was still clean and was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. There is not much natural light in the rooms due to the layout, but you can open your shutters for a little bit. However, we didn't spend much time in our room apart from to sleep, shower and get ready! We spent most of the time on the wonderful rooftop :)

The friendliness of the staff and the atmosphere. A beautiful Riad and perfect location. 5 min walk to the main square. I will book again, for longer next time. Thanks and we will miss you Marrakech.

A bit noisy the cleaning early morning

The staff in Riad Samir are very welcoming. They will make sure that you receive the best treatment while in Marrakech. I personally interacted with Omar, Badar, Abduljalla, Anas.. Pardon me for any wrong name spelling . They have arranged the breakfast even out of their schedule . Suggested the best luxury hotel for Sahara Desert safari which was cheaper than what I got in Viator. The food Rfissa, Tagine with prune and Lamb, .. I couldn't thank much for this. The hotel Riad Samir has my heart.
