Riad Tizwa was a home away from home on a recent 7 day holiday in Marrakesh. The warm welcome from the staff and communal atmosphere of the Riad itself made the experience both comfortable and nostalgic. A special thanks to the staff who made this trip as good as it was: Hassan, for managing our stay from start to finish and providing lots of helpful information and recommendations before we arrived in Marrakesh. He took care of lots of the usual ‘holiday admin’ such as arranging transfers and booking activities which made the entire trip feel seamless and relaxed. Hassan gave me some Moroccan tea to take home with me since I told him I liked it so much, which is one of many special things he and the rest of the stay did to make this trip great. Yazid, for greetings us at the door every night and managing of the Riad in the evening. Yazid made us feel comfortable and welcome at the Riad. Aziz, for cooking and serving the most amazing breakfast every morning, which included Moroccan breads, homemade yogurt, fresh orange juice and eggs (how ever we liked it). Malika (and the rest of the maintenance team) for making our bed every day, cleaning the shower room and generally keeping the riad in such pristine condition. Well done Riad Tizwa, you did beautifully.

Very clean, cozy and great location close to the best souks in our opinion. The stuff is really amazing. We cannot say enough about the kind Aziz always there at any time to welcome us with a warm smile and give us information and help. The kind Souleiman every morning serving our breakfast with a big smile. And of course Hassan always available to give information and help out with what we need. Thank you so much guys for making this trip so memorable.

A small smell from the sewer in the bathroom but negligible and it was not so much in case we kept the door of the bathroom open.

Our stay at Riad Tizwa in Marrakesh was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warm hospitality that makes this place truly special. Hassan, the manager, was exceptional. His communication before and during our stay was impeccable - always responding promptly and going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He arranged airport transfers, recommended authentic local restaurants, and even offered to organise our day trip to the Atlas Mountains and various other must do tours of Morocco. His genuine warmth and extensive knowledge of Marrakesh made us feel like welcome guests rather than tourists. The two Mohamads on staff were equally wonderful. One greeted us each morning with his infectious smile and served breakfast with pride and attention to detail. The other Mohamad was incredibly helpful with directions and advice about navigating the medina and greeted us each evening to make sure we had everything we needed before going to bed. The ever smiling and kind cleaning staff deserves special praise for maintaining immaculate rooms. We returned each day to perfectly made beds and spotless bathrooms. Breakfast was a daily highlight - served in the beautiful courtyard or on the rooftop terrace. The fresh bread, homemade jams, Moroccan pancakes, and mint tea provided the perfect start to each adventure-filled day. The riad itself is a peaceful haven in the bustling medina - traditional architecture blended with modern comforts, gorgeous tilework, and a serene atmosphere. The rooftop offers wonderful views of the city. Thanks to Hassan and his incredible team, our stay at Riad Tizwa wasn't just accommodation - it was a meaningful glimpse into Moroccan hospitality and an essential part of our Marrakesh experience. The riad (traditional Moroccan hotel) was beautifully decorated and romantic. We had the top floor apartment with access directly to the shared terrace area. It was very clean and staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel welcomed. They were prompt in answering our queries and sorting things out for us. The service was exceptional! The traditional Moroccan breakfast was delicious and extremely generous. We didn't even have to eat again until the evening. The location was great with lots of great restaurants and shopping in the area. The riad was slightly set back from the main road so very quiet and you didn't hear the road traffic or the general noisiness of Marrakech!

Moroccan riads have many steep stairs and narrow doorways so would not recommend to anyone with mobility issues. Not the riad's fault but there is a very noisy restaurant in the area that played loud techno music into the early hours. It didn't bother me but my partner found it hard to sleep because of it.

I would highly recommend a stay at Riad Tizwa. The design and decor were fabulous - it was like walking around a stunningly beautiful home. The breakfast was excellent and staff were attentive and welcoming. Hassan helped us with taxis and was particularly accommodating when we arrived a little earlier than anticipated from Essouaria. The location within the medina was excellent and within walking distance of all sights and the souk area (as well as some of the popular restaurants such as Nomad). Beds were super comfortable and the location was quiet. I would definitely return here on any future trips.

This charming riad was the perfect oasis of beauty and peace located in the heart of busy amazing Marrakech! Our host was outstanding providing us with all the information we needed to make the very most of our very short stay. Our room was heavenly…so much care and attention was put into every detail and it included a bath tub!!!! Perfect for relaxing after busy days. The breakfasts each morning were delicious and the views from the breakfast area and upper terrace were spectacular. This riad had been recently renovated and the stunning design and open spaces were absolutely gorgeous. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer…next time!

Riad Tizwa in Marrakech is an elegant luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the historic center of Marrakech. The location is perfect, inside the medina but still easily accessible by car. The rooms are beautiful and traditional and contemporary in design and the breakfast has always been super. We had the opportunity to chat with the Owner, whose story was really interesting, and the staff were really precious, Hassan and Aziz were always very helpful and made us feel really at home. A truly recommended stay.

Our stay at Riad Twiza was truly delightful. The ambiance exudes tranquility, with a charming terrace that became our favorite spot for breakfast in the mornings and serene sunset moments in the evenings. Situated conveniently in the heart of the Medina, it strikes the perfect balance of proximity to the souq without being engulfed in its chaos. Hassan and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. They were always readily available to cater to our needs. Upon our request, they even arranged a mesmerizing trip to the desert, adding an extra layer of adventure to our experience. The room was beautifully appointed, and the bed provided the utmost comfort, guaranteeing a restful sleep, the only problem was the birds twitting at sunrise (a nice problem to have!). Every corner of the riad was impeccably clean, enhancing our overall satisfaction. Without a doubt, I would eagerly return to Riad Twiza for another unforgettable stay.

There is a 5% fee for credit card payments and paying the entire amount in cash posed a challenge due to the limitations on ATM cash withdrawals. It's worth mentioning that, in line with many establishments in Morocco, Riad Twiza does not serve alcohol.

The Riad was in a great location right on the edge of the medina which made it easy to get to many attractions on foot but it was also easy to arrive by taxi. It offered a peaceful escape from the city. The breakfast provided was really nice. But what really made our trip was the staff who were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times. We also booked a 3 day/2 night trip to Merzouga through the riad which we really enjoyed and went seamlessly. Thanks to Hassan in particular for providing us with all the info we needed!
