The property is located in an amazing central area close to everything. We were greeted by the very kind staff with biscuits and moroccan tea. The rooms are amazing and the riad is as beautiful as the pictures. We thought the staff was exceptional Moouad and Mustafa were great, always ready to help, recommending us places to visit and even coming with us sometimes to our destination so we would not feel lost. We tried the Hammam which was memorable, and we definitely recommend. We were also offered an amazing breakfast and a lot of attention and care by the staff. They helped us print out our tickets, arranged transfers for us and accompanied us in all the process, even before our departure. I definitely recommend! We were a 9 people group, and thanks to them everything went smoothly and well organized. 10/10 experience and we will be going to the riad again when visiting Morocco. Bonus points the room had AC!
Everything was perfect.

Building decorated very well.
Staff ask for extra money for pretty much every thing which They call tax. We have paid extra 50 dirhem for the room tax and 25 dirhem for breakfast each person.

Lovely riad, as described the photos. Staff were friendly, could be more welcoming though. Food was good. Great location, in the middle of the Medina.
Asked for my breakfast to be packed the last day as I had an early check out and was given some bread and other roti like thing. No butter or jam or any other accompaniments. No regard to how I would eat it. Wish they were a bit more considerate. I asked to use the hamam but it didn’t seem like they wanted to offer it as they kept coming up with various excuses (need 2 hours to heat up, not accepting credit cards for payment etc.) so I eventually gave up and went elsewhere across the street (Les Bains Orient or someplace like that).

This hotel riad was an absolute joy to stay in for our 30th wedding anniversary. Presented with real character and location and facilities were. perfect. What stood out was the staff who looked after us. Lahsen was exceptional and went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. From organising our pickup to arranging our tours and booking our restaurants to mark the occasion, Lahsen was brilliant. He also went out of his way to arrange for the restaurant to highlight our anniversary celebrations with a special live performance. The welcome at the hotel was also very personalised. Lahsen sat down with us during checkin and guided us with the local areas with a very useful app. We could not fault his efforts.
The breakfast was lovely but hit and miss with timing. I feel it was because items were made fresh and served and we missed out on some of these. Also, we had two rooms booked as our 18yr old daughter traveled with us. Her room was right outside the reception and riad. You could hear conversations outside and it was quite disruptive. In our room, due to the heavy rain on one day, water had entered our room and soaked the floor and rug. The rug was replaced. The bathroom sink was leaving and floor was wet.

The hotel has traditional Moroccan architecture, the room itself is also traditional, the staff is very kind and helpful, location of the hotel is in centre of the old town of Marrakesh close to the sights, shops and restaurants, from the roof terrace of the hotel there was nice view of the surroundings. In front of the room is atrium with sitting area and small pool.
I have only these comments: there is a big gap between the door and the wall, as can be seen from the photo that I attach, so in case of staying during the winter or during the cold season, nights (we were in the hotel in January) it is not possible to heat the room well. Breakfast was tasty but poor.

the riad is an excellent example of a Morrcan Riad. the rooms were traditional and all the comon lounges were beautifully kept. there is an amazing roof terrace were you can relax and take breakfast aswell. the staff couldn't be nicer and more helpful. we booked our transfers directly with the Riad and it was all excellent especially when you arrive first as it is a little hard to find especially if you use a normal airport taxi. suggest you get a sim card at the airport for your mobile its about 100dm per gb. the hotel staff took me to a stall where they i bought a orange sim and loaded it with 10gb for 130dm in total. you can reload yourself online
Riads are not Holiday Inns so if you want a excellent morrocan experience , book a riad

We had an absolutely fabulous stay here. Everything was so beautiful, and the owner / manager couldn't do enough to help us and even saved points of interest on the download map so that we knew where to go. The rooftop terrace is a total highlight, beautiful sunsets and lovely place to catch the last bit of light before it gets too cold (we were there in January). The little pool was lovely, although we didn't go in as it was too cold in January. Would definitely stay here again.
The mattress was a little hard for me, but that's just a personal preference. It wouldn't put me off staying here again.

We had a wonderful week long stay. The room was cosy, clean with a very comfortable bed. The whole riad is kept to a very high standard. Service was incredible and there was always someone on hand to help day or night. As others have said, we loved the roof terrace for those occasional tranquility breaks between trips and exploration of the souks and medina. A big thank you to the staff especially Mohammed, Hasana, and Rami and everyone else who helped make our stay perfect. Thank you, Scott and Ilona

Unfortunately we only stayed one night in this lovely relaxing Riad on a derb off Sidi Abelaziz on our way to Essaouira. Great engagement and communication with Riad beforehand (Kenza and Rami). We had a late flight and arranged a taxi pickup with the Riad from airport to the nearest main road close to the Riad 160dh. The driver called the Riad ahead so we were met and accompanied with our luggage to the Riad as it would be hard enough to locate at night (tip keep right turns at the derb at the ginger juice bar). We had pre-arranged food and it didn't disappoint, really good quality tagines and couscous and friendly service from Aziz. Our double room with large bathroom was simple yet stylishly appointed and spotless. I wanted to get a Moroccan SIM and one of the staff (sorry forgot to ask his name) kindly walked me out to a shop close by (tip keep left turns!), turn right onto Rte Sidi Abelaziz and one of the first stalls on the right- cost 60dh 4G lasts at least 7days (Orange) and the guy installed it for me (installation requires understanding arabic). Traditional breakfast was served on the terrace and was delicious, plentiful and again served by a beautiful kind female staff (sorry i don't have her name). Would recommend the area, we had stayed for longer in a more expensive Riad nearby previously and loved it. Its a traditional working area with kind people, its safe and not as hectic and chaotic as some other parts of the Medina. Riad Baraka was great value €65/night and perfect for our stay and would definitely recommend.
Nothing it was great value and perfect for our short stay, would definitely recommend.

The staff is the best part, super kind and accommodating ! The double suite is very nice, the basic rooms not so much. Wi-fi works well. Very well located.
The pictures make it seem nicer than it actually is, in reality it is quite basic. It is kinda divided in 3 different small buildings that connect. I don't find it good value for money, for the same price you can get a lot more luxury in other riads. Breakfast is quite mediocre.
