The place is imaculately clean, and everything works. The deco is authentic, and makes you feel you have gone back in time. The description of the place in the website is spot on. The courtyard and the reception area are such peaceful places to hangout. However, the roof terrace became our favourite space to have breakfast in and also hang out at the end of the day. The staff were very welcoming, polite, and pleasant. The managers on various duties, Jamaal, Hamza and Chouaib were excellent. They were ever available to take care of all our needs.

There is nothing we did not like about the place.

A beautiful riad with exceptional hospitality. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive—greeting me with mint tea, biscuits, and water upon arrival, and even preparing my room early so I could take a work call. The space is quiet, clean, and truly peaceful. I travel often, and I must say this stay was particularly pleasant. Even the cats who joined me for breakfast on the upper terrace were friendly and well-mannered—just like everything else here. Highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Even though the riad is tucked away in a small back alley of the medina, it feels completely safe—even at night—so there’s no need for concern (and a lot of the Riads are in back alleys anyway).

The entire staff right off the bat was so accommodating and wonderful. They gave us tips on how to navigate a new city and went above and beyond what a hotel has does in the past. Hamza specifically helped us with lots of the bookings through the Riad and even taught us how to make Moroccan tea so we have a little peace of Morocco when going back home. The pictures do not do the place justice. The attention to detail was evident and the entire staff was friendly around the clock. could not have asked for a better location as well.

Staying at Riad Fleur d’Orient was one of the best decisions we made on our trip to Morocco. Riad Fleur d’Orient was AMAZING! Authentic, cozy and welcoming. We were greeted by Hamza and invited to the outdoor rooftop to enjoy a tea pouring ceremony and cookies. All of the common spaces boasted beautiful Moroccan decor- from intricately carved furniture to the colorful rugs to the rose- scented air. STUNNING! All of the staff were friendly and eager to help. Hamza helped with our first night dinner reservations. He also planned an afternoon/evening excursion for us in the desert where we rode camels and quads and enjoyed a sunset dinner with live entertainment complete with a driver to the desert and back to the Riad! My husband wanted some assistance in acquiring some authentic, traditional clothing and Hamza happily obliged. In the mornings, we enjoyed fantastic spreads for breakfast- pastries, coffee and tea, eggs made to order, juice, fresh fruit, and yogurt. What an INCREDIBLE experience! A million thanks to the wonderful staff at Riad Fleur d’Orient!

Our suite had a very light closure from the inside and one of the friendly cats on the property was able to push its way into our suite in the middle of the night. I think a more substantial lock from the inside would help with that. Also, our bathroom tub drained slowly and showerhead wasn’t attached to the wall, so we had to use it as a handheld shower to rinse off.

I have so much to say about this Riad and I’m going to start my whole experience about it from the moment I booked the Riad, it was booked for my sister and I, the support and understanding they showed in helping us book airport transfer, restaurant reservation and excursions was impeccable. On arrival to the Riad, Hamza welcomed me with the most friendly and welcoming hospitality, Thank you, Hamza. The level of customer relations they all showed was amazingly indescribable, you can tell they live to satisfy each of their customers and NOTHING was too much for them to make our stay very comfortable. The Riad was very clean and beautiful with so many relaxing areas and the rooftop is beautiful, our room was spacious for the two of us, the bed is huge, the bathtub was eye catching 😍. I checked out at the checkout time 12pm, they kept my luggage for me as I had a late flight and wanted to rest in their breakfast room, so I sat down and rested my head on a cushion. I heard Latifa had a conversation with Said and the next thing Said told me to come with him to a room if I wanted to sleep, when we got to the room he said to me “relax and just sleep like you are at home”. I wanted to cry but I pulled back my tears. I’ll NEVER in my life forget this kind of gesture and hospitality ever!!, the room he took me to was massive and decorated very beautiful, and I spent my last hour there before catching a taxi to the airport, they also provided a room for me to pray. This is the Riad and hosts you want when in Marrakech. Our sincere thanks to all the team, Latifa, Hamza, Said and Chouaib that made our stay comfortable and stress free, thank you ❤️

Absolutely nothing

We were there for 2 nights with my mum and stayed at Dar Ija room... Very beautiful room with amazing decoration. We felt like Morrocans and the staff of the riad were beyond expectations! Nassim (I hope I am saying the name right) he welcomed us with a flavourful mint tea and tour of the riad! I definitely recommend, because it's very central, only 3 minutes walk from main street of Medina, great breakfast and the garden... oh the garden! Always smells wonderful like jasmine and flowers! Nice touch, was a small corner with bookcase and several books to read about Morocco etc. Thank you very much for everything! 🙏😊

Very beautiful Riad. Location is prefect and we didn’t have to walk far from the main road when getting dropped off from Airport. Im glad as some of the other Riads can be far away from the main road and easily lost the way. Also, it is closer to all the main point to see or visit in Marrakesh. Staff are amazing, polite, kind and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with all our request. Special thanks to “Said, Chouaib & other (which I can’t remember the name). FYI - please be careful of scam in souk area about “Festival of Colours” and try not to fall for.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautifully refurbished accommodation. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a very pleasant experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, going out of their way to make me feel at home. A special thanks to Said and the rest of the reception team for their kindness and excellent service—they truly made our stay memorable. The rooftop breakfast was a highlight—delicious food with a fantastic view, the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended, and I look forward to staying here again!

Very good location - 5 mins walk to souq, main streets, mins from taxis. All the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful, particularly Hamza who was great. Pool was lovely dor an evening or morning dip as end of August was still hot. Breakfast on rooftop was great. Area very safe and quiet, minutes walk from nice cafes.

Aircon in one room broke but next day they had it fixed and meanwhile gave us another room to sleep in which was much appreciated.
