In the Medina so close to soul and the main square. Lovely tranquil oasis. Beautiful interior courtyards and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with the option to eat on roof terrace or in courtyard. Greeted with mint tea and biscuits on arrival. Large room with lovely bathroom and nice toiletries.

I had particularly wanted a swimming pool and chose this riad specifically because it said it had a swimming pool. Unfortunately what it wasn’t possible to see from the photos is that the water was maximum knee height. So good to cool off and refresh, but no way there was any swimming happening. Also a bit of a trek through the riad from our room to get to that terrace. If I had known the pool was not suitable for swimming I would have stayed somewhere else. I said something to the staff when I discovered this and was met with a ‘what did you expect in a riad comment and a shrug’ so felt a bit let down.

We loved every aspect of this amazing Riad. Nestled down a quiet alley away from the craziness of the Medina is this oasis of calm. From the moment you step in, the lovely welcoming staff, refreshing mint tea and biscuits and stunning courtyard, the Riad is simply superb. The staff are professional, attentive and always smiling! Breakfast was amazing with eggs, pancakes, a lovely selection of pastries and bread that changed every day. The roof terrace and connect restaurant are perfect if you just want a day to chill by the pool. Cannot recommend Riad 72 enough

Nothing really. The bed was a little hard. I didn't mind that but my wife mentioned it. Also the wifi in our room was patchy but fine in the courtyard. To be honest, switch off and relax.

We had room 15, the suite with the private terrace and jacuzzi. We had breakfast on our private terrace every morning and it was magical. The staff were fantastic and so attentive. The room was incredible and we had a daily maid and turndown service which was such a treat. The hotel was fantastic value for money and the spa was also beautiful. They organised a morning tour for us in the Souk and a full day in the mountains on the Imlil valley tour which was one of the best tours I have been on. Can't wait to visit again and no question of where I would stay.

It’s a beautifully decorated Riad. The ambience, the facilities, the hospitality are excellent!! We had an amazing time and were looked after very well. The location in the medina is perfect. They also organised a day trip to the Agafay desert which was fab. The daily breakfast in the Riad is sumptuous and varies each day which is amazing. The restaurant is superb too. Not to mention, the rooftop is a lovely bonus to soak in some sun and views of the Atlas mountains. Would return in a heartbeat!!

Not a big issues but the housekeeping in the room could be more attentive with cleaning around the corners and refilling toilterries.

Everything was perfect! We booked pick up from the airport through Stefania and it was very easy to find our driver who was absolutely lovely. The staff brought our bags from the drop off straight to the riad. We arrived quite early so had to wait a bit for our room which was no trouble at all as the staff came and washed our hands and made us the most delicious mint tea. Stefania sat down with us and explained everything about the riad and gave us some great recommendations for food and activities. We then explored the riad which was just so beautiful and picturesque. We had lunch next to the upstairs pool, the staff were so lovely and the food was delicious! We then settled into our room, it was very spacious and clean. The decor was beautiful. Everyday our room was stocked with fresh fruit and bottled water and at night we always came back to our bed made up and some treats! They even provide you with a phone that has telephone numbers for the staff saved in case you need any help while you are out or while in your room. We had the breakfast both morning which was so delicious, every course kept getting better and the service was perfect. We truly could have spent the whole trip at the riad and not even ventured out! Thank you everyone for the wonderful stay, we cannot wait to come back!

Nothing - it was perfect!

My fiancé and I had a lovely stay at 72 Riad to celebrate my 40th birthday. The facilities are really beautiful and the staff are so attentive and polite. Especially Stefania, Mohammed and Khalid. Location is great as it’s really close to the Medina, attractions plus the main taxi point. As soon as you walk in to the Riad it’s like a quiet oasis

One thing to note, for those who are choosing this Riad for the pool/s, the ground floor pool is more decorative than functioning, so you can’t swim in it and the rooftop ‘plunge’ pool is really shallow. It’s not deep enough to swim in.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Really welcoming. The room is up there with the best we've ever stayed in. Attention to detail was outstanding. Every inch was just stunning to look at. Location is perfect to get around whilst being quiet and relaxing wherever you are in the building. Locals all very friendly and felt like a safe area. All the food and cocktails were up there with the best we'd had in town. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. We stayed in the Grand Suite.

Fantastic Riad in the heart of the Medina, beautifully furnished and designed. Extremely clean and also polite staff.

Breakafast was ok, on the last day we had eartly checkout, 20 mins prior to check out time and were only served cold pastry. Stairs in the room can be challengng cause of the steps. Were not able to try the restaurant nor the pool due to season. Definitely too pricey.

The welcome is so friendly! The breakfast was lovely. Really enjoyed the spa. I couldn’t get over how quiet it was - it was lovely. The staff made the stay really amazing - attending to all our needs. The hotel staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and are just generally so pleasant to chat to. The whole riad experience and staff have made me want to revisit soon!

Nothing!!!! The dinner wasn’t amazing if I had to say anything but the staff and the stay and the breakfast super lovely!

The service was incredible and everyone was so nice to us! The room was amazing and especially be bathroom - it felt so luxurious. The entire property was beautiful and the pools were a great touch. Highly recommend everyone to stay here!

The only change I would make is the shower head in the bath tub was too close to the edge so it was difficult to shower properly.
