staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to provide guests with a good time. i loved our room on the top floor as it was quiet and had direct access to the roof terrace as well as natural daylight.

we checked in at 1am as we had a late flight for which we booked a driver with the hotel. when we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes outside until the driver was able to call someone who would come open the door for us. the shower only had warm water in the morning. breakfast is carbs upon carbs, we soon chose to brunch outside. coffee is not great either un fortunately. it's a 7 minute walk through empty alleys from the main road to the riad, not great for walking alone at night or when you have heavy luggage.

I had an amazing experience staying at this beautiful Riad. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and truly special. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect — a special thank you to Jamal, Rokaya, and the entire team for their kindness and genuine hospitality. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated in traditional Moroccan style. I particularly loved the peaceful, charming atmosphere of the Riad, which made my stay even more memorable. I would highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone visiting Marrakesh. Can’t wait to come back!

Jamal and Jamila, the staff are simply doing beyond what they need to do. I felt I was staying in a home more than just a place I rent. I have been travel if A LOT, work and private. Never have I EVER had a pleasant stay. Both are keepers, so if you own the business and read my comment, they are to keep as now I will recommend your Riad further and me and my family will definitely come back again. Swimming pool was perfect for my kids to cool down during the midday

Our stay started with a bit of confusion, as the Riad was tricky to find and, upon arrival, we were informed that we’d be moved to a different the same name Riad. That unexpected change was initially stressful—but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The Riad we were moved to was even more beautiful, with a stunning atmosphere and thoughtful details throughout. Once settled, we had an exceptional stay and truly enjoyed the space. We also had an early flight, and the Riad kindly accommodated us with an early breakfast, which we really appreciated. In the end, everything worked out better than we expected, and we’re grateful for the experience.

Relaxed family feel, superb location, amazing hosts who made us feel so welcome. Nezha, kept our room clean and made the most delicious breakfast! She helped us learn some Arabic words and treated us like family. We couldn’t have asked for attentive hosts. We loved the roof terrace and pool. We would recommend this Riad to anyone staying in Marrakesh. The night staff Mohammed and other host Miriam were also wonderful -thank you.

The property was so cozy to spend time in & the facilities were lovely from the delicious hand prepped breakfast to lovely views from the terrace. Our hostess Nezha was particularly the star of the show, she made us feel very comfortable & really did show us Moroccos warm hospitality. She would bring us tea in the evenings when we sat by the terrace, made lovely recommendations & even offered to print our boarding cards. She was very welcoming, accommodating & very easy to talk to. We will definitely be returning to Dar D’Art & cant wait for it to be sooner!

The location of the hotel is a fabulous experience although would be extremely hard to find without a transfer. The staff were so helpful and friendly especially Meriem who catered for our every need with such kindness and Jamel who took us on a tour of the sister hotel Riad De la Rose where we were welcome to relax with coffe whilst we looked around. Nadia the owner was also so graceful in making sure our stay was to be remembered.

The Riad Dar D'Art is French owned and seems to prioritise French guests over others as we had to wait over an hour to be seated for breakfast whilst the French guests were attended to at their leisure. The hotel albeit beautiful is very spacious and can be extremely noisy throughout the day and night. Late entries back to the hotel disturb your sleep aswel as the catering set up in the early morning.

Nice Riad close to the Medina but in a quiet corner. So perfect. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was enough and freshly made. Nice rooftop & decor Room was cleaned daily. Thank you! It was a mum and daughters trip and the lovely ladies of the riad made sure it was perfect and it was. Thank you very much. The issue I unfortunately had with driver from the airport was effectively dealt with straight away

The only thing and it isn’t a reflection on the quality of the service but the chauffeur/ driver booked through the riad was nasty and rude.

The vibe was amazing. The installations were also amazing, really chill vibe with both of the swimming pools being a life saver on this hot days of summer, plus the rooftop swimming pool on the night wow. Talking about service, all of them are so nice, they try to help you with everything, even if not about the accommodation. Make you feel welcome at soon as you steep on the hotel. The hotel is really close to the main tourist places and you feel really safe even if you are walking on the middle of the night. Don’t think twice and book on Dar d’Art, you will not regret.

The first time to arrive in the hotel is kind of messy of you are following google directions. Once you found it is really easy to locate yourself and move around the city.

The staff were absolutely exceptional. I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world, but the service that the staff gave here have exceeded that. They went out of their way, they were hospitable and generous, and this hotel has a much more personable experience than staying at a fancy restaurant. Shoutout to Samira and her daughter Arwa for being so hospitable. The decor is modern, clean, elegant. There’s a pool in the lobby, and there’s a terrace to relax on as well. But by far the hospitable experience from the hosts is what would make me come back here with the whole family.

Ground Floor room has a separate toilet area, and a separate ahower area, so no sink next to the toilet. But not a problem.
