Breakfast as ample and delicious. With warm pancakes and french pastries. The coffee was perfect. I was worried about the location - having never been to Marrakesh and seeing lots of videos about getting lost I was worried incase that happened to us. But the Riad was next to landmarks which made it easy to find It was close to old city so that we could walk to the main square in 10 mins and to Palaces and Tombs in 25 mins. We arranged a taxi transfer from the airport to the Riad and Hassan the owner met us when the taxi dropped us off to show us the way to the Riad. The taxi was 20euros. For convience we also arranged to get a taxi to drop us back at the airport at the end of the trip. Check in was simple and with mint tea! Our room was perfect! We stayed in the Calife Suite. it was so sumptuous with a shower/bath in the room which i used about 3 times a day because i got so hot after walking around outside. The air con was great! Overall we stayed for 3 nights and found that to be enough time to explore the city and have a great first visit to marrakesh.

Some tips ... get a sim card before you leave the airport as you wont be allowed back in once you pass through the doors. Checking in and security at the airport when you leave to go home TAKES AGES.. you need to arrive 3 hours before and not 2 hours before.

Riad Fatinat is an absolutely amazing , traditional Moroccan style Riad. The room (Sanawi 2) was so beautiful, just like from a fairy tale of thousand and one nights. The room was very clean and comfortable and full of wonderful little details . The bed was very comfortable, The shower had good water flow, and enough hot water. Bathrooms with free toiletries. A typical Moroccan breakfast is served upstairs on the beautiful terrace. The location of the riad is good, quiet and safe in the Medina, A short walk to Zouk, in a slightly "better" area . The staff was very helpful and smiling. I recommend Riad Fatinat 100%

Everything is perfect

Excellent property and stay. We stayed with two young children in a gorgeous family suite. The manager was very helpful and our kids loved being able to relax on the rooftop and play with Mimi the cat. It’s in a great location. Down a quiet ally (where our son was able to play ball and meet local kids) yet a short walk to the Medina and shopping/sites.

It’s a small hotel and the noise echos through the courtyard. I worried that our children bothered other guests. I suppose this would be true with most riads, though.

Hassan and the team were extremely welcoming and accommodating. Rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day, breakfast was lovely with a different selection of pastries every day. The location is perfect as it's located in the very middle of the old city very close to the local souk, the main square but also walking distance for the main attractions of Marrakesh! Would definitely reccomend to anyone!

The wifi is quite slow and at times unusable even with a strong connection.

Utterly charming!! This riad is stunning, with beautiful and tastefully decorated rooms. The bed was so comfortable and despite being in the medina, it was so quiet and peaceful. The service was excellent - Hassan and his nephew were wonderful and available to help us with any request. Breakfast is good, and served on the roof terrace, which also is a great place to relax. It is also in a great location, an easy walk to the sights. Highly recommend. 5*s!!

Breakfast was incredible - a massive array of local food with mint tea, coffee and fresh juice, served every morning on the roof terrace. The location is very central, in the middle of a winding alleys and market stalls. Close to almost all the major places we wanted to see - either walking distance or a short (and cheap) cab ride. The staff were lovely, incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very traditional and pretty in their decoration, and the place was clean, cool and quiet. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Riad Fatinat will give you a true Moroccan experience. This little gem was a haven of tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the world outside. The decor is beautiful. Having a rooftop sun terrace was a big bonus - we were able to sunbathe on the lovely loungers in early February!

The bed was harder than at home, but we soon got used to it and slept really well as the room was dark and silent, with no street noise.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Thank you, Hassan and Samir, for welcoming us to Merrakech! The Riad is so beautiful, clean, and quiet. The breakfast, so lovingly served by Samir on the rooftop, was delicious. The location is walking distance to most sights. Our room was very large with great air-conditioning. I can't wait to go back!

Loved everything!

The Riad was very central , but an oasis and calm and peace once inside. The bedroom was in traditional Moroccan style and the bed was super comfortable. Having breakfast in the top floor was an unforgettable experience. Breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented. Hassan was so kind, helpful and always there to help us . Hassan and his nephew made our stay so special.

WiFi was not good

Hassan made our stay at the Riad amazing! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left he helped as with anything u could imagen! When we arrived he took our backs and at us down for some traditional tea and sweets and immifitaly showed as to our room. At any moment of our stay there was someone ready to help nd am is how our day was.

The only small thing is that the WiFi reception is not great it’s a bit unstable.
