Road julia is in a great location, tucked away in a quiet but very safe feeling street that smelt perfumed (many streets smelt like sewage). Just a 5 minute walk from the souks, a taxi pickup/dropoff around the corner and many good food options nearby. The pool was excellent in the midday to cool off and the terrace offered a private place to relax in the evening or sunbathe. The staff were kind and helpful, often asking about your day and giving recommendations.

While the breakfast was good, it was all carbs (pancakes, bread, pastry). Some fresh fruit, veg or yoghurt would be a very welcome addition.

Staying at the Riad Julia was a fantastic experience in Marrakech. The staff at the Riad really made a huge difference to our stay as they were very attentive and met all of our needs. Mohamed and Sa'id were always there to help us out and give us advice on the souks. The Riad itself was very clean and comfortable and with Mohamed serving us our breakfast in the morning it was a truly amazing experience. Would 100% recommend this Riad.

maybe the only thing would be the internet was a bit intermittent. Consistent access to high-speed access is a must for travelers

It was clean and had lovely traditional features and furniture Great location for the Souk and Le Jardin Secret and Bahia Palace Situated right in the Medina with really helpful staff! As 2 women travelling together (mother and teenage daughter) Mohammed looked after us so well and gave us lots of great tips and advice and came to meet us so we didn’t get lost on the first night as we had a late flight. He also recommended us a lovely restaurant and made sure we got there safe Lovely breakfast with lots of choice with table service

Make sure you have internet service or you are met or know exactly where the Riad is if you arrive at night

They took care of our entire journey from the moment we got off the plane to the moment we boarded our return flight. We were warmly welcomed at the hotel, given detailed explanations about places to see on the map, and provided with opportunities for the activities we wanted to do. The atmosphere of the hotel and our room made us feel at home; we never felt like strangers. The hotel was not only aesthetically magnificent but also centrally located, within walking distance of everywhere. It was wonderful to wake up to the sun and have breakfast there. We had days that we will always remember.

Beautiful design, well maintained in the rooms and group areas. Mustafa and Mohamed were both great hosts and all other staff were also friendly. They made an our first stay in Morocco very easy. Location was also great from close to the main road for pick ups for excursions but also tucked away a so you couldn’t hear any outside noise. They also provided clean towels and robes everyday and cleaned the room.

Water pressure of the shower was a little bit low. But the good things about the stay massively out weight the bad.

Firstly the staff at the location were very accommodating and helpful. They spoke to us about Morocco and gave us traditional things to try which was very nice. They also helped with recommendations, they were very friendly. Secondly the location was amazing only a 12 minute walk from Jama El-fana and other locations that need to be seen. We walked from all the different directions and the maximum time we walked was 25 minutes to Jardin Majorelle! All the attractions are only a short walk away. Lastly, the Riad itself was beautiful it was beautifully decorated, my favourite part was having a delicious breakfast in the Riad by the pool. Overall, it was a great stay, I will book this Riad if I come to Marrakech again and I suggest you do too!

Nothing!

You can experience real Moroccan House hotel, well maintained and quite. The staffs are super helpful and easy to communicate. The location is in the middle of center where you can access famous touristic spots by walk easily. But still the Riad is in a very quiet area.

You need to ask for coffee or tea separately. I wish I could have a water kettle in the room. They always make you a tea or coffee when you ask but it’s a bit of a hassle…

This Riad is the best service Me and my partner have ever had wherever we’ve stayed. It’s central to Marrakech and it’s not a far walk to anywhere. We visited the Bahia palace, Marjorelle and also went to the Atlas Mountains on a partnered excursion along with Hammam at the sister Riad Sofia just a 2 minute walk away. They offer more for you to do but it’s fitting it all in that’s the only problem. Karim and Mohamed looked after us along with the cook and cleaner who was excellent, Both of them are to the highest level of hospitality and we actually couldn’t of asked for more with how they treated us. The riad itself is in a beautiful part of Marrakech away from the main Souks it sits near so many good restaurants and smaller Souks where you see less tourists and feels more authentic to Morocco. If I could say anything to anyone who’s thinking of staying here I’d say stay as long as possible and ask for recommendations on where and what to eat and if you’re looking to buy anything while here just ask and you’ll find help.

Beautiful riad, conveniently located with great patisserie for cakes on corner and shops close by for bottled water which was handy. I felt safe and that my belongings were secure, riad was very clean, excellent food (both breakfast and evening meal), unlimited free mint tea, hot shower with toiletries, towels (fresh daily) and robe, rooftop for sunbathing/relaxing, lovely staff who look after you and help in anyway they can. Taxis were organised to/from airport which I appreciated as a solo traveller, helpful sign-in process with information about local area, where the nearest ATM was etc. Nice restaurant on corner if you don't fancy travelling far for food (Dar Marjana). Thank you Mohamed and Yassin.

As riad is traditionally small, noise travels easily between rooms and up from the seating/ courtyard area so you can be awoken by other guests easily if they are up and eating breakfast/chatting before you. This was a very minor annoyance, however, and wouldn't stop me from recommending the riad or from staying again.

The decor, location, and service all were excellent. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, all the staff was really helpful and considerate. Everything around is 15/20 minutes walk away, and there are a lot of restaurants, spas, and shops around close by as well. The breakfast was really nicely thought out, and we enjoyed our stay a lot.
