The Riad was so beautiful! The bed and couches are exceptionally comfortable. The inside garden with soothing fountain, the rooftop terrace, the decor, everything was like an oasis in the middle of head turning lot busy Marrakech. Youssef and his wife were very kind, and the food (both for breakfast and dinner) is so good!

The property is a bit secluded, but still easily found with Google maps. Just beware when you walk to the Riad to say no to the people telling you the street is closed —they’re just trying to get money from you by pretending to help you find your way when really you don’t need them.

I really loved my stay at Riad Maizie. It's very quiet and you hear birds sing everywhere. The bed is surprisingly comfy: a bit on the firm side but not too hard for me. Lots of pillows make up for it. The breakfast was fab, and I especially loved the various pancakes. The dates and olives are so tasty. As it's a hotel around an inner yard of course you hear people talking, but everyone was respectful and stopped at 22:00. Yes, it's an old building without insulation, and as such it was somewhat chilly in early February, but the heating took the bite off and the duvet was nice. I'd wish for an additional blanked to sit on the sofa and if the duvet is not enough. Very friendly host. The area is lovely: very few tourists around, and once you get onto the main road there's fab street food two squares to the right. Talking of which: the path to the hotel is never dark at any time of the day, there are lights, and nobody cares if you walk there or not. No reason to be scared. For navigation I found openstreetmap most useful, also for walking through other narrow paths through the medina. Confusion: leaving. Ryanair told me to print my boarding pass and to bring this print to the airport. Ok, I did. There the check-in agent tore it apart and threw it away, and gave me a normal boarding pass. On the other hand, you had to check in online. Someone in front of me was sent away to check in online as apparently the agent could not do that. Ok, that's different.

Will could not have been more helpful. He communicated with me before my stay, arranged an airport pickup by taxi, got me taxis to and from the Bus Station when I went to Essaoira, and arranged my taxi when I returned to the airport on my way home. The room was comfortable and I slept really well. Also, the riad was a perfect size, and this meant that it was quite easy to meet up with other travellers. Finally, they served a good breakfast with tea or coffee every morning.

There was nothing I really didn't like, except that I initially found it difficult to find the riad. However, this would not stop me from recommending the riad to others, and I would also rebook it myself if I were to return to Marrakesh.

Charming authentic riad close to everything. Very comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Run by knd people who are available to answer your every question. Make sure you stay at least 3 nights to truly appreciate it. As it was my first visit to Marrakech I had to get used to the location in the midst of all the action. The streets are well lit at night and as a solo female traveler I felt completely comfortable. If you're looking for a small scale traditional riad with bilingual staff (fluent English, French, Arabic) give it a go.

We have spend in Riad Maizie 8 days with my little daughter and we have only good things to say about this place. - already before comming to Marrakech, i had good contact with the owner via booking, who answered all my questions about reservation and our travel, arranged taxi from and to airport, and pick us up from the taxi meeting point. - the room corresponds the description and Pictures we saw on the website. The room was pretty, big, clean, bed was comfortable. Room was regullary cleaned. - tasty breakfast is included in price, We can also have lunch or dinner there in Riad- food was delicious, tradicional marrocain and really big portion, we love it! - Riad is only about 15min by walk from Central Square, but located in the depth of the street, so even staying in the heart of Medina, it was really quiet there, no noises from the streets! - people working in Riad are very kind and helpful, giving advices about places in town,helping to find doctor when needed. They always make sure we re well and comfortable. We enjoyed a lot our staying there, atmosphere and hospitality and kindness of the owners of Riad Maizie. We can trully recommend this place to stay, and if once we come back to Marrakech, we hope to stay in Riad Maizie again . 10/10. Sonia & Nat

I liked the decorations of the room and the Raid. The breakfast was very delicious and the dinner was delicious and better than I expected. The location was fine with me. My flight was delayed but Youssef was understanding and I appreciated that. The rooms get cleaned organized and cleaned everyday. I had a wonderful stay. Thanks Youssef and Rasha.

My 3rd stay at riad maizie. Fantastic riad, so quiet and serene a real chill out zone. Breakfast is very good and sets you up for the day. Will is a great host and Rajah is one of the nicest people you could meet - a star! You will not get a better and more authentic riad in Marrakech.

Excellent riad in the heart of the Medina. Everything about my stay here was perfection~ the helpful staff, the food, decor,comfortable and beautiful room, peaceful, and a great location. Will, the owner, pays great attention to detail and is always available to offer help. He has created an exquisite oasis in the middle of the bustling Medina. I messaged ahead of arriving and he sent a driver pickup to the airport. Raja’s cooking is superb~ most delicious fish and chicken tagine dinners~ and breakfast is always sumptuous and beautifully presented. The rooftop terrace garden is stunning and peaceful. I can’t imagine a better place to stay and it is excellent value!

The riad is very nice, set up in a traditional moroccan style, with colourful features. The room was cleaned every day by the same lady that prepared my breakfast (her name is Raja and she is lovely) Will was very helpful in providing me with information regarding the surrounding areas and places to visit. He also organised the shuttle service to and from the airport. Food was freshly made every morning and you can eat on the terrace or in the front yard (if you're happy with the cats' company).

It’s the 2nd time i’ve stayed here with friends. The location is great, the internal courtyard and terraces delightful. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are flexible & friendly. I would strongly recommend.
