Staying at this riad was an unforgettable experience! Nestled right in the middle of the bustling Medina, it offers the perfect combination of traditional Moroccan charm and serene tranquility. Despite being in the heart of the action, it feels like a peaceful retreat—completely quiet and relaxing inside. We loved the traditional Moroccan breakfast served each morning, with fresh pastries, fruits, and mint tea. We highly recommend! - very safe - very accommodating and hospitable staff, special mention to Jawad who was very patient, helpful, and speaks 4 languages (Arabic,English,French,Spanish). He gave us a lot of recommendations, esp when taking the taxi to Majorelle Garden. - comfortable bed - large room - walkable to most sights (El Badi Palace, Madrasa Ben Youssef, Jmaa El-Fnaa, Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace) - very peaceful place despite being in the Medina - big breakfast of eggs, pastries, bread, butter/jam, croissants, coffee and mint tea. - gorgeous riad FYI: just use their taxi service to go from & to the airport.

- just FYI, they only accept cash to pay for the room (Dirham or Euros only) - the room we stayed at was very cold (February), heater they provided was not enough.

This was my first Riad in Morocco and it certainly set the bar. From the pick up to my last day, the service was phenomenal. I requested transportation to pick me up and take me to the entrance of the media. Then someone from the road picked me up on his motorbike which was an added bonus as I got to ride through the media on a bike. So much fun! The location is fantastic. Just 10 minutes from Cafe France, which is a meeting point for A LOT of excursions and transportation. It’s a 15 mi. Walk to lots of things. It was all about the details for me. From the mint tea with cookies they have to great you upon your arrival to the toiletries they have available. Breakfast was a traditional Moroccan breakfast so be prepared for lots of carbs.

The beds are relatively firm so be prepared for that. I personally like my bed a little more soft but I quickly found out that ALL beds in Morocco are super firm

Beautiful building/room, very quiet even though you’re in the chaotic Medina, staff were really kind, great breakfast!

Hard to find, some signs would be helpful (I don’t want to pay kids to show me the way to the hotel). At night, you might have to make your way through some guys who want to sell you hashish.

The Riad Al Lune was beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. The Riad was the perfect beginning to our Moroccan trip, but the truly wonderful experience was because of Jawad and Amine. Those two hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect... They welcomed us in about 9:30 pm, offering us Green Tea and made us feel completely at home immediately. Amine even went out and got a SIM card for the phone right then. He helped us make our way through the crazy maze of streets over the next few days. Jawad was equally as welcoming and helpful. One night we were totally lost in the souks! We called him and he came immediately and brought us back to the Riad. The ladies at the Riad even did our laundry. We most definitely recommend Riad Al Lune and would love to go there again.

While the roof top terrace was nice, it was not quite as magical as I was expecting. Some of the furnishings in the Riad were a bit tired. These things were very minor compared to the overall experience, but the reasons why I didn't give the Riad a 10 rating.

This riad is a true hidden gem in Marrakech. Tucked away in the Medina, it’s clean, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. The staff is incredibly welcoming and always ready to help, making you feel right at home. The homemade breakfast is generous and delicious, a perfect way to start the day. Its location is ideal for experiencing the city and soaking in the local vibe. Highly recommended!

Khadija, Jawad and all staff members were extremely kind and concerned about our safety and comfort. The Riad architecture is a piece of art itself and all meals we had there were superb (if you can, have dinner at the Riad and order the chicken Tajine. It's slow cooked and falling off the bone, delicious home-made food)! They printed our boarding passes for the return flight, as it's required at the airport to have it in paper, and accompanied us to the central square to meet our taxi driver safely at 4 am. I'd certainly stay there again and think it would be perfect for a romantic trip as well.

We absolutely loved the Riad! We booked it after reading a very positive review of a travel blogger who had recently stayed here and really liked it. The main courtyard was very beautiful, our room was really cosy, the traditional breakfast truly tasty and the staff just the best. A big shout out to Jawad - he was a star and really made our stay at the riad very special, looking after us the whole time. Thanks to him and his team - would definitely stay here again!

Everything went perfectly well!

I stayed in Rose room and it was beautiful. I stayed twice in a span of 10 days and I absolutely loved staying in this Riad. Breakfast is great and is extremely relaxing as its also served in the garden. The entire team is amazing :D Jawad, Amine and Khatija were excellent hosts. Something i missed to mention in my other review is that i had to take a taxi at around 3am in the morning, Amine packed a small breakfast to take with me and walked me to the taxi which i truly appreciate .

Fab location, service was excellent and they did everything they could to help us and to ensure we had the best possible expérience.

We had not realised that at times one of the customers would sit and smoke downstairs, as it is a Riad, windows are on the inside and are often opened up and smoke would get in. As soon as we realised and asked from them to leave our windows closed during the day , problem solved. Once again, they were most helpful.
