we had a great time here. a very cute, colorful riad. the riad is simple but has everything you need and is absolutely worth your money. the room was beautiful and nicely decorated in a Moroccan style and was cleaned every day, we slept very well. the breakfast is also good and is located on top where you have a view over the city. the riad is located in a truly authentic Moroccan street, you are really among the locals, which we really liked. donkeys walk on the street, there are shops, people selling vegetables and meat and not to forget the nice little restaurants. the people here are so friendly, every time we walked through the street people waved at us and we had nice conversations. the main square is about 15 minutes walk, 7 minutes by taxi. From the moment we arrived, the owner Abdel was always there for us, we got delicious tea and he helped us find a SIM card for our phone, then he took us to a nice little restaurant down the street to eat, We had a delicious meal with a very sweet boy who was also super friendly. Abdel knew all the beautiful places we had to visit. thanks to him we saw beautiful places. it was really awesome. i highly recommend this riad. thanks again a lot Abdel for the great time, it was very nice to meet you.

When we first come in to the riad we were welcomed and greeted in a friendly manner from the owner and the staff! We were immediately given tea and shown excellent hospitality! Abdel loved telling us about all the sights available in Marrakech. They gave us maps and advised us the best way to get around was to walk as everywhere was accessible within a short pleasant walk! Beds we’re comfortable and the decor was class and homely! We really loved it! My little girl loved the cat (sally)! Trying to get her away from the cat was difficult 🤣

There wasn’t anything not to like

We loooved it. The Riad was amazing, Abdel (the host) was so open and cheerful. We did two tours (to the Atlas mountains & Agafay Desert), Abdel organized it perfectly. We would recommend it to everybody.

It was a bit cold in the evenings. But when we told Abdel we got extra blankets right away :)

We had a great time for one week at Riad Wardate Rita. It is idealy placed close to the medina and has a very nice, original atmosphere. Despite the lifely surrounding it is quiet und kept cool all the time in a natural way. It is not brand new. But that’s part of the nice atmosphere and reflects the excellent value for money, even including breakfast on a nice roof-top. The staff is very friendly and helpful in any case. Especially Abdel was very helpful in organizing very good day-trips. You really can trust his recommendations. One of the best ecperiences was the inhouse hammam in the riad with an exzellent massage for a very reasonable price. If we stay again in Marrakech, we will stay with them.

Everything was just great.

A very local and not touristic Riad, with a family running it on top. Abdel was a fantastic super host, always helping out, watching an Italian football match for us together, offering soups for all when I was sick directly in our room, giving advices and managing little problems immediately. The staff was always great, similing, gentle, kind and available. giving extras in breakfast, washing our clothes for free to help a bit (remember to leave a tipp) Little sweet cats everywhere were our son entertainment. Riad pretty calm despite the caos of bah doukkala medina just around the corner (very good position, in a local quarter, you should walk 15min to the main square. Clean and decent for medium standards. Food is delicious. Thanks to Abdel family

The breakfast and lunch and dinner are offered outside so think about it if visiting during winter season. Rooms are pretty dark but the entire environment is very typical, not fake and beautiful. the taxi of the riad since was 2hours in late at our arrival during the night. The rest of our stay was perfect for the price!

Everything was amazing. The location was great, close enough to the souks but also close to the new area, and despite the outside hustle the Riad was always quiet. Abdel and everyone on the Riad was super attentive and helpful if we had any questions. We got a shuttle service and that was great and on time. We also got dinner and it was so good, for the value and to try authentic food I highly recommend 💯. And the place was always clean, they do cleaning daily. Would definitely go back.

A very good location. Walking to the Medina and Markets. It is close to the taxi drop off. Not too far to walk into the Medina. 5 min walk the most. It is in the market area. Good restaurants and coffee places nearby. The place is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Please organize pick up and drop off with the owner as it is practical. From the airport or train station. I also recommend Dar Ess Salaam dinner show and camel ride and dinner in Agafay. I used Get your guide. The Medina can be full on if you wanna get away for excursions.

Great place to stay! The hospitality of Abdel and his family is unmatched! Great location - right within the hassle and bustle of the madina but tucked away in a very quiet corner! You would not know you are so close! Good breakfast and overall very safe! There is a pool there too which is another plus. Abdel and his family go above and beyond to ensure that you have everything you need. Would recommend, and will be back again. Thanks so much Abdel 😊😊

Me and my children stayed for a week in this riad, coming and going and the all staff was super kind and friendly. They were very caring with my two children and Abdel the owner it is absolutely amazing, helpful,kind and Generous. I truly love this riad and the family and I'm sure I will be back.

If you travel during the winter season be ready to feel cold during the night.

absolutely everything. it’s in the medina so waking distance to everything, the place has truly marroccan energy yet very clean and with all important amenities. moroccan yea upon arrival, very nice terrace for breakfast. a very intimate and personal accommodation. however the absolute highlight of it is the host Abdel. I travel a lot but the customer service we received from him is an absolute 100 out of 10. we were two young girls in marrakech so a bit cautious about walking around alone, he made sure we felt safe and had everything we needed. he was lakes us to the excursion pick up point, prepared us shisha in the riad, got us chips when we were hungry (all without cost of course), went to the pharmacy to get my friend a bandage, his wife even attended my friends wound. he came and picked us up at nighttime with the moped so us ladies wouldn’t go home alone at night. upon our departe to the airport he woke up at 5 am just to make sure that our (external) transport came and picked us up and walked us to the pick up point. you get my point.. there is not enough I could say about Abdel, a million thanks to you, your wife and kids who have been extremely nice to us and went above and beyond! when we come back to Marrakech we will definitely come back to this place just because of Abdel!!
