The Le Rio was clean, modern, safe. Location was brilliant with all local restaurants and shops within walking distance. The beach is across the road. The Marina is about 30 minutes walk away but a really pleasant walk. The staff are great from the reception colleagues Nesrinne and Abdul Ellahi. To the cleaners who do a brilliant job of keeping out rooms and well stocked with toiletries and grab towels. Special mention to the ladies at breakfast. Lovely omelettes made on order !! They were all great.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rio in Tangier! The hotel was impeccably clean, and its location was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast buffet, which was not only delicious but made even more enjoyable by the amazing staff. Ms. Noura and her team truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and even shared fantastic recommendations for places to visit. Their warmth and dedication made our experience unforgettable—I cannot compliment them enough! If you’re visiting Tangier, I highly recommend Hotel Rio for its cleanliness, convenient location, and outstanding hospitality.

Hands down, everyone coming to Tangier should try staying in this hotel. Have travelled to 20 countries but this hotel is one of the best i have lived. The breakfast was awwesome with so many varieties, the location is right next to the sea and the main road, very clean, rooms are huge with top notch facilities. Calm peaceful environment. Highly recommended to everyone planning to visit Tangier.

Lack of privacy. The cleaner entered my room after just a single knock. This is unacceptable. They do not have an internal lock or a do not disturb sign.

This place is very close to beach and we had sea facing room booked. The view was breathtaking from our room. You have almost everything at walking distance. It is also close to Tangier train station, however it is not close to airport. We only stayed for 1 night and it was worth it. The morning breakfast had good variety and they make omelettes on demand as well 😊

One of the elevators was in maintenance so it was long wait time for going up or down. Apart from this everything else was perfect.

We were given a lovely modern and clean apartment with a sea view. The reception staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Thanks Abyr! Free secure parking is also useful. We had a mini car, might be tricky to manoeuvre in the garage in a larger vehicle. Very walkable to the city centre shops and restaurants and some tourist attractions

The heating didn't seem to work and one of the window blinds didn't open. The booking included breakfast but in the morning when we went looking we were told there was no breakfast due to Ramadan. Understandable, but this could have been made clearer to us.

The room was great clean, modern design, had all equipement needed. The staff brought all the stuff we needed for the kitchen and the view was amazing sea view. Breakfast was also good, and the view from the breakfast room was beautiful. Location was great near a whole strip of restaurants, the bitch is right across the street, the mall walking distance and a cab to the medina was like a a quick 5 min ride.

The bathroom doorknob wasn't working so we would get locked in if we closed the door fully. And the TV remote wasn't working.

The location is very good, many restaurants and mini markets nearby. The seaside is 2 steps away and the sea view was indeed wonderful. The room was very comfortable, the balcony super big and room service cleaned the room every day, including clean bedsheets and towels.

Salty selection for breakfast was limited. Sometimes the noise from the street was a bit too loud, but not a problem to sleep.

Some facilities weren’t available in the apartment such as an iron, however it really wasn’t necessary. Not much to say, this property was incredible

The studio room was spacious, clean with adequate plug points and a lovely view from balcony facing the sea.

The property needs to be updated with attention to detail the paint work wasn’t neatly redone in places, ie the bathroom, rusty, flaky, calcium affected shower handle, the water proof seal put around shower glass was not applied with care it was a little tacky. That having been said there was a fridge and cooking area available if needed and the place was clean.

Great view, great location on the boulevard and our balcony had a fabulous aspect. Staff were helpful and parking was very good. There was an attendant there all the time. The breakfast was good. Cooking facilities were good if you were staying longer.

Things were a little bit surface clean. The sofa and sideboards could have done with a good scrub but the bed and sheets were all very clean. The bathroom was clean for the majority but the corners and things needed more attention.
