The location! It's close to the medina and to the beach. The hotel has amazing views

At 10.30 sharp they start clearing food from the breakfast buffer. This does not give room for people who faced an inconvenience to have a late breakfast . For instance, my baby always woke up close to 10.30 and I had to immediately rush to get breakfast before they cleared all the food away. In other hotels I have been to ( I have been to many)even if breakfast ends at 10.30 there is an allowance to still have a late breakfast at least until 11am. At some point we were even asked to leave the breakfast area at least we had just finished eating. That never happens though in high level hotels being asked to leave.

Breakfast was phenomenal, also being across the street from the beach and Medina, etc.

This Hotel is one of the best in the city, the location is wonderful which means you are close from all attractions, never mention the fantastic staff, Faten,( I hope I have spelled it wright) Yaseen, Tawfeeq. Providing all the support.

Location is super. Center to everywhere. Good fresh breakfast many verities to choose from, I would like to thank Mr. Mustafa and his team they are making all their efforts to make sure everyone is having a great time at breakfast. And a special thanks to Ms. Faten the reception manager,she is super professional in all matters and very helpful and polite. This is my third time to stay at Barcelo Tanger and for sure it’s not the last.

Should pay more attention to cleaning . This time I noticed the housekeeping are young girls not doing there best in their jobs.

There’s quite a bit of noise from traffic outside due to the location, which makes it hard to relax at times. Also, as a 5-star hotel, I expected more attention to detail. Here are a few things that need improvement: • Balcony cleaning: It seems only the rooms are cleaned — the balconies are being ignored. • Toilet water pressure: The flush is too strong and causes splashing, which is uncomfortable. • Flooring issue: The wooden floor in the room is starting to lift in some areas. I hope you can take these points into consideration to improve the experience for future guests.

Place is nice and the location is superb. Staff are very friendly and cooperative...and I can recall the names of Yasesn and Fetna.

The hotel is very new and so everything is modern and fresh. The location is right on the beach. The rooms are large and the bathroom is light and big. I loved the towels and sheets. The balcony is lovely. The location is great if you don’t want to stay in the old town. The rooms are very well noise proofed.

When I booked I selected a double bed. I also asked at check in for a double bed but they still gave me a twin room. Most annoying, they charge a “deposit” of more than the cost of the stay on your credit card at check in. I don’t understand why they do this. Why can’t we just pay what we owe at check out? Or just take credit card details but don’t put the excessive charge through.

The Hotel is very good, Breakfast was excellent & some Staff were also very good, especially Aymane & Mohamed.

We encountered a very disappointing experience when we went to Check-in a Staff member at the Front Desk was telling us that we had only booked 3 Double Rooms but with 2 Guests in one Room & 1 single guest in the other Rooms which we of course disputed showing them that I had booked 6 Guests 3 Rooms and it took us a while for them to accept that we were right. Dissatisfied treatment to start our Short Stay.

Barcelo Tanger is a beautiful modern hotel right in front of the beach near the harbor. The superior room we selected was very large and comfortable. Staff is professional and pleasant and the breakfast buffet right in front of the sea is huge.

Considering the cost of the room small amenities such as a bathrobe and slippers would have been in good keeping. The bathroom was literally inside the room and it was not possible to switch to a room with a separate bathroom. No flexibility was offered to access the room as we arrived in advance.

I liked the room with an amazing sea view , the location, the service of the management particularly Mr Yasser Taghi at the reception, was very professional and kind, he listened to our concern took action and next day all was corrected to our satisfaction, many thanks Yasser. Also, the parking guys were very nice and helpful and last but not least at the breakfast, at the egg station nawfal was so nice , he cooked for me the best poshed eggs with a always a nice smile despite how busy was he.. thank you to all the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one.

The hamam experience was quite disappointing , not in line with what you pay.. the relaxing room is same as where you change, this is a hamam for foreigners who do not know what is really a great relaxing hamam experience.. do not offer it to Moroccans ..
