This guest house is close to all of the restaurants and to the old Medina of Tangier. I would recommend this beautiful guest house to anyone. The reception lady was very nice who speaks Spanish which is a bonus , as in Morocco most of the people speak Arabic and French. I will definitely come back to this guest house.

I had only one problem , I got room 8 , the top floor with a beautiful sea view, however the internet was not working and strong enough in my room so I needed to go out always to the balcony to able to use the WiFi.

Was here for three night and it was beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, location near the port and Kasbah. There is a nice supermarket near the hotel and many coffees and restaurants. The stuff was very kind and helpful. I came after midnight and that wasn’t problem. Also i could print the ticket for my next flight. It was very nice experience and Tanger is worth to visit definitely. If I have a chance to come back I’d book this hotel again 👌 Until the next visit :)

Everything was clean, appreciated the nice view from the terrace and the calm (althought a little bit of noise coming from the pub downstairs but honestly wasn't very disturbing). Wifi works properly. Helpful and nice staff. Good value for money. Would definitely come back (would appreciate a cooling system or would only visit in less hot periods).

The room has a heating system as I witnessed but unfortunately no AC or fan was available in the room (didn't ask for a fan at the reception so not really sure if they can provide) but because of the hot summer days the building gets pretty warm in the evening although very nice outside on the terrace (cooler temp). Would be great to have a cooling system in the room, had to use my small hand-fan to sleep nicely.

Perfect location really close to the city centre and the beach. Stunning views from the room and terrace. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Was no problem checking in late due to airline issue. Really enjoyed it. Brilliant lighting, decent sized room, amazing for the price too.

The plug socket on the wall was hanging off a bit felt a bit unsafe to use, the shared bathroom door the lock almost came off when I was inside of the bathroom

The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly but you can't expect European standards though. Unlike described on the website they didn't speak English. Check in still worked good. I chose the hotel because of the roof terrace which is really cool when you're traveling alone so you can just spend the evening there looking over the ocean and harbour. Also the hotel is just 15 min walk from the starting point and ticket office from the Hop on Hop off Bus ~12€ which I can really recommend to get around. And in general the hotel is just 5 min from a big marjane supermarket and 1 min from two main streets

I had a room first floor and it sounded like the second floor was jumping on my head the whole night. Didn't hear the city or noise from the street, just the noise from upstairs which was annoying and loud

Comfortable rooms, terrace with amazing views, great location, helpful and friendly staff. Unbelievable literary history condensed into one small hotel. If you are looking for the true Beat experience, you have to come stay at the Hotel El Muniria. It was my dream to stay here and it didn’t disappoint … I half expected Kerouac and Burroughs to come bounding onto the terrace at any moment.

It is a good value for money place, and the staff were very lovely, easy to communicate with.

The noise from the club downstairs is loud and disturbing sleep, even with ear plugs

We are a couple on a motorcycle. Had a private room with several windows.. Very clean ... through out the building. Had free private parking outside the medina area - a bit of a walk. Had a common refrigerator and fan in room, which most don't. The communication on directions was excellent.

Our room was next to shared toilet / shower. Can be a bit noisy.

The hotel is close to the main city port and to the big commercial beach. It is a bit of a walk from the main railway station, but there is a bus that stops nearby,. The hotel obviously has some inbuilt cultural history which is interesting though I am pretty sure the bar downstairs is nothing like it was when frequented by beat poets. There was a pretty interesting crowd there though and I had a good time. If you walk a short distance either uphill or downhill there are shops and restaurants.

No AC, which I knew in advance and was fine with, but also no fan in the room or available. This is only a problem in the height of summer.

The hotel was really close to Grand Socco and Tangier Beach was walking distance. Lot's of shops near by. View of Gibraltar was good. The area was safe. The hotel was safe.

I requested a fan they didn't have and due to the heatwave in summer time, it was quite humid in the room. Windows needed to be open and had to make a few visits to the roof to over come the issue
