Got into Kathmandu at 1130pm and the hotel driver was there. Took about 15min to get to hotel. In room: Phone,Tv. Then found out TV did not work. Their provider was not sending them the signal. Room was clean. Bed/pillow was hard but OK. For this trip the shower was a bit to figure out how it worked. Hotel takes credit cards but hardly nobody else around does. They love USD. Break the first day was just on a plate--veggies, pot and “pancakes”, 2 boiled eggs and toast. 2nd day was a buffet:Selection of pancakes, pot, corn & egg souffle. There was cereal(Not Kellogs) but no milk. Tea and Cf but no OJ. Did a full day tour thru the hotel the 1st day and a 1/2 day tour the 2nd day--total $317. I though a little$$. They do not exchange money.

When I check out they said I had to pay for transport back to airport. I told them I was told I did not have to pay. The mgr came over and I got to airport.

The hotel has a rooftop restaurant that offers a good breakfast and amazing views of Kathmandu. The staff members are friendly and helpful. Basu helped us organise our trek to EBC including a private Jeep to Jiri, a dependable porter, permits, and flights back from Lukla. He also picked us up from the airport free of charge when we arrived in Kathmandu. We highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, tucked away behind one of the main streets in Thamel, an easy walk to the main sights and sites of central Kathmandu. The staff on reception and in the rooftop restaurant were friendly and helpful (with just one exception) and spoke good (sometimes excellent) English. The rooms all faced inwards (remember to draw your curtains!) and were reasonably comfortable, with good hot showers. We used the hotel as our base and came back to it after spending time away in other parts of Nepal - so the free baggage storage was useful (and efficient). Excellent breakfast and good food for lunch/supper on the roof with lovely views over central Kathmandu and out to the surrounding hills.

Wifi on bedroom floors was patchy, though generally good on the roof and in reception.

Great roof terrace, lovely staff, and very good value!

Quite run down bedroom and bathroom, bit of an odd smell when we first arrived and some rooms only had windows looking into the corridor - ours had one like this but also one looking out because we were on the corner. You could ask for this kind of room when staying

Nice location, in Thamel but tucked away so not too loud and noisy. Big and comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff, helped us arrange a taxi to the airport.

No shower curtain in the bathroom, made the floor very slippery that I fell. The sink also leaked but there is a drain underneath it so not too much of an issue.

The breakfast is a remarkable buffet and changes everyday. The rooms were nice, we even had a bathtub.

It wasn't possible to pay later, even if you stay there. Also the rooftop restaurant is nice (pricey) but it would be great if there was no compulsory consumption for guests on the rooftop. All in all we missed a relaxed and welcoming vibe.

Wifi is ok, hot water is hot, there is a nice rooftop restaurant with good food. Breakfast was wonderful. Free taxi from the airport really waited for me at arrival (there was a queue for 1.5 hour at least). Generally staff is very nice and friendly. There is a cooler with hot and cold water at every floor.

I strongly advice you, if you like this hotel, to book it only via Booking.com, othervise they will try to refuse the free taxi service to the airport, and will try to charge you 800 roupees, while the cheapest taxi costs only 500. And the room will be changed also. I stayed there 2 times, on the second time I booked directly and regretted it, as I had some negociation about free taxi to the airport. Book via Booking and be safe about this.

A great budget hotel right at the centre of Thamel with all basic amenities you need and a great affordable attached rooftop restaurant! The check in desk is manned 24 hours which was a great help as i arrived almost midnight. Luckily the hotel is known by all taxi drivers, so i had no problems arriving. The staff are very helpful. Rooms are big and very clean. The hot water is ample and really hot. Beds are comfy. There are balconies at end of corridors so there's ample air and also a place for smokers without having to go out of hotels. A great feature is the rooftop restaurant where the serve magic breakfast and also a la karta lunches and dinners. The prices are above high street prices but affordable. There's also a good bar at this restaurant.

Hotel is slightly inside main street. So, you could find it but tricky to find as it's not on main Thamel Street. The 2 small signs can be missed.

They have amazing staff and amazing breakfast. Also the rooftop restaurant is nice along with the seating arrangement. Most of the hotels don't have a lift in Thamel, but this one did. With some added pigeon noises my stay was nice.

The washroom and fittings wasn't good. The lift is very small & the room didn't have any view at all. the door and the bathroom door was bit broken. However all things was working as expected. The AC was a bit small than the room required.

The hotel was coozy. Little yet well equipped. In the dead center of Thamel yet far away from the hazzle and bazzle. Rooms are super clean and well looked after hit water is readily available. Bathrooms were very clean with few amenities and the towels were clean. I am highly sataisfied with the services of the friendly stafff ! Great place to visit ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥
