You should try the local cuisines and drinks at the hotel. It is freshly prepared with cleanliness and hygiene.

On booking.com, it mentioned that my room will be equipped with air conditioning but when I reach there was no air conditioning and I raised my point to the receptionist but they couldn't help me out. It's requested to booking.com please ensure the equities before putting them on your website.

Great location, lovely and hospitable staff. Well looked after place, in the middle of centre but I'm a quiet spot. Very tasty tea and coffee place Downstairs. Comfortable bed, and nice wooden furniture.

There was noise from the club around at night which is not the fault of hotel. The staff was kind to offer me another room where it is quieter and addresses the issue with the local club next door. Which is very attentive.

The breakfast was really great. It was multicusine and delicious. Very hygienic and fresh 😊

Excellent breakfast...They have the English breakfast as well as the Nepali local breakfast and both are equally delicious! And great location, right in the middle of the buzzing Thamel, yet away from the noise. And very cozy place and the friendly staff, who go out of their way to provide you what you want.

The wifi could have been better even though there are three networks. It worked well the first day but was getting timed out. But nonetheless, the very cozy and comfortable hotel and staff, who are so friendly, make up for it.

Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. Chhabi was so accommodating and helpful in all things Kathmandu. Was of great assistance in bookings, tips, recommendations. His staff was top notch! Location is great-located in the heart of Thamel. 15 min walk from Durbar Square. A little bit further back from the street so you can avoid street noise. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. Great location, room was clean and big enough space, and allowed us to check in early. Beautiful atmosphere outside. Room and bathroom have historic feel, amazing staff and great attitude and make guest feel welcome. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

I would like to recommend to upgrade ur room curtains and make sure about refrigerator is working or not.

Try Thorongla country special breakfast is really good

Loved our stay. The staff were friendly and greeted us each time they saw us. Wonderful, safe space for our 3year old to run around in away from any traffic. Delicious meals from the cafe down stairs as well. Our room was spacious, clean, hot water and great pressure.

We loved how comfortable the environment was, especially the person in the reception were so kind and well spoken. We have travelled to many hotels by now but the way this hotel had its every little detail organized kept us surprised. The bathroom were well cleaned, there was no single problem on being around there, we felt so welcomed. We will surely stay in Hotel ThorongLa in days to come too. Loved everything.
