I stayed for almost a week at Nomad for business and genuinely loved almost everything about it. The staff were warm, helpful, and consistently attentive throughout my stay. The modern design of the accommodation suited my taste—stylish, clean, and comfortable. One of my favorite things was relaxing on the patio, a perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast was delicious with a great range of options, and the food overall was impressive. A special mention goes to Piano Piano, the restaurant downstairs—it served the best lunch and dinner I had in Kathmandu. I ended up regretting my meals outside because nothing compared to the quality and experience at Piano Piano, even when compared to top-rated places in the city. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Nomad to anyone visiting Kathmandu, especially for those who appreciate great design, warm service, and exceptional food.

There were only two downsides during my stay. First, the sound insulation could be improved; I could hear a little noise from outside, which might bother light sleepers. Second, while the housekeeping staff worked diligently and the room was always neat and clean, the cream-colored carpet had visible footprints and stains that could benefit from deeper cleaning or carpet-specific tools.

Lovely, helpful staff, always friendly and engaged. Good location if you want to be outside Thamel, but close to it. It's about 20 minutes walk from the edge of Thamel (though on busy streets with two to cross). The location itself, directly across from the Radisson, is very quiet with some souvenir shops, restaurants and an "ATM lounge" in the area. Being by the Radisson is handy for giving directions to taxi drivers and there are taxis waiting outside. Breakfast was excellent - healthy and varied - and I ate once in the Italian resto, which entailed excellent wine and ok pizza. Comfortable bed and good shower, and beautiful common areas.

My room was comfortable enough but unventilated, with a sealed window, so it held onto the moisture from the shower and didn't feel fresh in chilly weather (in February). I expect that when it's hot, that dampness evaporates in no time, but next time I stay in winter, I'll want a room with windows that open (which I believe the rooms onto the courtyard have).

Nomad Hotel Lazimpat was a great and quiet stay in an elsewhere hectic city. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Breatfast was good and service was really friendly. In short distance form the hotel you have many local restaurants and coffee bars.

The taxi driver in front of the hotel are really expensive, so make sure you have downloaded a taxi app. There prices are often more than the double of booking in the app. The nearby souvenir sales shops are also pricy compared to the inner city ones - and you can haggle a lot - and still pay overprice. They are only there because of the big Radisson hotel.

The attention of the staff, as usual in Nepal, they staff was very helpful and welcoming. Special mention to the lady in reception, always helping, but all of them (staff in the breakfast time, the security person). The room was enormous and very well decorated with that Green marble I loves. Very urban sofiscicated style Breakfast was really good. Location is close to Thamel, but in a quiet area which is good for isolating from the big vibe of Kathmandu.

Nothing, all perfecto, that would be my hotel when I come back to Nepal.

The hotel is very well-kept, the staff is super attentive and kind, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very comfortable. The location is also excellent: tucked away in an alley of a busy Lazimpat street, but walking distance to Thamel and other spots. Bonus points for Piano Piano, the restaurant inside the hotel. The pizza was really good -- I ended up having it multiple days.

My only complaint is that the wifi is spotty and keeps disconnecting - I don't know if this is a problem of the hotel or of Kathmandu because I had the same issue in another hotel.

Gorgeous interior design, placemaking and breakfast. Staff were informative, friendly and professional and helped me book every taxi, and check the price before I got in. Location was clean, safe and a quiet haven just a turn away from the bustle and pollution of the city. Will definitely return if I return to KTM!

The photos of the cheapest room are misleadingly larger than the actual space- your sink is next to the bed. However, the interior design is so nice I could forgive this.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is excellent, yet the price is very reasonable. The hotel’s design is absolutely beautiful—stylish, modern, and new. Breakfast was a highlight for us every morning, with fresh salad, delicious yogurt, and amazing coffee and milk tea. Even after six days, we never got tired of it. Most importantly, the staff were all incredibly kind and friendly. We truly enjoyed their warm hospitality and would love to come back again.

Modern. Functional. Clean. Friendly. The front desk staff roshan,intern madhu and sujani the lovely girl were very knowledgeable very helpful and always cheerful and good spirits. I found madhu knowledgeable on Kathmandu was quite vast and roshan as well and sujani they made the trip easier friendly and smooth.the breakfast staff as well were friendly and efficient.

The breakfast coffee was weak. Tepid. And almost like dark tea.

Everything at the hotel was fantastic, room was huge, clean, comfortable, very quiet. The hotel garden was a beautiful spot for a meal. Staff were super-friendly, breakfast was good, everything was clean and affordable. Hotel was very close walking distance to attractions (e.g., Garden of Dreams, Palace, airport) and Thamel area, and very easy to get cabs to/from the hotel. Loved staying here and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Amazing hotel in Kathmandu. After three weeks on the trails this hotel was an oasis. Absolutely worth the higher price point. The staff are lovely, breakfast absolutely delicious, rooms are super duper comfortable, in-house restaurant has delicious food. We did not want to leave. Even considered lengthening the Kathmandu leg of our journey just to enjoy staying here longer.
