Breakfast was good, other restaurant food was okay (better food in town - try Fresh Elements). Facility was clean, good massage on site. Provided 2L water/day.

Lake view rooms are above the bar and could be a bit loud. Rooms didn't have any shelves or drawers to unpack bags, not even a luggage rack to put bags on. We stayed many nights so we would have liked to unpack. Just a little bit of smarter furniture use would have been better. It's an inexpensive, easy taxi ride to/from town. Sadly, a lot of haze/pollution in March so the mountains were only visible one morning. Bar was lacking - we just drank beer and (non alcoholic) lime sodas.

I had an amazing time in the hotel. The staff was super helpful, always ready to provide support for any thing, for example, transport to and from the airport, or tour recommendations. Also, They even gave me an upgraded room! I had an amazing time, and recommend it a lot.

Pokhara is a city of stairs and ramps, so if you have any condition that doesnt allow you to take many staircases, you might have a difficult time. This is not a problem only of this hotel, is every hotel in the city. But is particularly clear here because it is in the mountain slope, so you have an amazing view of the lake and the city, but at a cost of many stairs.

This place is beautifully appointed. Furnishings, gardens, and surface finishes are all amazing. Very attentive staff who are out to meet your needs at every turn. Food and drink: incredible. Pratiksha made my morning breakfasts perfect with good coffee service. In the afternoon and evening Nishant was a star as well, who delivered not only good food/drink service, but great philosophies of life. I always enjoyed talking to him. The availability of excursions at good prices is great. Hope to get Sujan as your driver.

BarPeepal Resort has amazing view of Pokhara lake and nice swimming pool. All the staff here are friendly and giving you the best service, ensuring your needs are taken care. Special mention to travel desk Mr Shanker he gives good advice on the activities we can do while Pokhara, Ms Soya at front desk is always smiling and ready to assist. Resort driver Mr Ama is really nice & polite as well giving is some local tips. Security here is very good as well so traveller will feel safe while staying at this property. Breakfast was good with Nepali and international choices of food.

Rooms are a bit outdated but the view and staff made it back!

The room was spacious, the bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud (especially as we had just finished ABC), the view from the balcony was lovely and the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub. Staff were exceptionally helpful and the concierge knowledgable. If we were looking for a restaurant or a shop that sold something specific, his recommendations were spot on and the people there would treat us like royalty as soon as we dropped his name. The gardens are beautiful.

It exceeded our expectations. You do have to walk a bit to get to the hotel but that also means it's quieter, away from the hustle and bustle and being on a hill gives it a great view.

1.The hospitality. All the staff were cordial and cheerful. Mr. Kamal provided us with flexible check-in and check out timings, as we were travelling with a toddler. He also upgraded us to junior suite for free. Big thanks to him. 2. The breakfast buffet had a good variety. 3. Clean and comfortable bed and linen. 4. Free shuttle service to and from lakeside and airport was very convenient.

1. The restaurant menu is way too expensive for the serving size and taste. 2. Location could be problematic as it is at a bit distance away from lakeside. 3. No designated play space for toddlers.

Everything in the hotel makes us feel perfect and at home. Breakfast: It's very delicious and has local characteristics. Fried chicken sausage is my favorite. Room: When you come down from the mountain, you will feel that this is heaven. I spent three hours of deep sleep in their bed and got a very good rest. Travel reservation: This hotel also provides all the travel services you need in Pokhara. I especially recommend our porter and Guide in Mardi hiking: His name is Bishnu Paudel. Bar Peepal was a very serene property with a fantastic view of the lake from the poolside. The food was good and the staff was very helpful and kind. Kamal was exceptionally accommodating and helpful. He arranged for really good event manager as we were there for a special family function. The staff was very helpful in arranging paragliding trip with reliable agancy. Overall we had a great stay and Kudos to the staff and team at Bar Peepal

Nothing that I would put in as negative. The hotel has room across different levels and no elevator so if you are traveling with Elderly then let the hotel know in advance so that they can provide rooms at convenient levels.

My husband and I stayed at Bar Peepal for five nights and enjoyed it immensely. Located on the hill above the town it offers amazing views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Our deluxe room was on the upper floor and it was amazing to relax in the evening on the balcony above the beautifully lit up pool. The property offers several lounges on the pool level to have meals or drinks (the bar and the restaurant are open since breakfast to the late evening). The food at the resort was the best we had in Nepal- from the best Nepalese momos and Asian dishes to a variety of western fare. The breakfast which was included was varied and exceptional. But what made our stay so enjoyable was the staff- everyone from the waiters and drivers to the management were very pleasant and eager to help. A big shout out to Mr. Shankar who was arranging our tours and hikes and was always there to give a travel advice and many thanks to the manager Mr. Kamal for all his assistance.

Everything was perfect, however, the property doesn’t have elevators so some people will have a challenge staying on upper floors.

I have been stayed with a large number of resorts and Peepal would definitely be one of the most impressive, not only because of the view and room quality comparing with other hotels in Nepal, more importantly the proficiency and dedication of staff. During the stay I can feel that every staff was making the biggest effort to make guests' journey more comfortable and convenient. They can always sort out various issues guests facing to and meet different requests in a professional manner. I'd like to thank everyone of them at reception, house keeping, SPA desk, travel desk and restaurant. With their hospitality the experienece in Pokhara was memorable.

Room is a little bit noisy in the morning due to people at pool and construction outside. It would be great if breakfast buffet can cater for tourists from different countries with more options
