Nice and cozy room, larger than most rooms in Amsterdam, comfortable bed and pillows, we slept very well. There was no sofa in the room but there was a comfortable armchair that did the job. The hotel is modern and nicely decorated. Breakfast realy exceeded my expectations, large variety of hot and cold plates, fresh fruits, vegetables, juices, milk, yogurt, corn flakes and oats, everythink you could ask for. You can also order your own omelete and choose what to put in it. There is a restaurant and a bar (haven' t tried any of them but both look nice) There's also a well equipped gym and a mini shop. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the airport. We used it every day and it has allways been on time. Amsterdamse Bosch is just outside the hotel premises. When the weather is fine you can relax there and have a nice walk. If you cross the Amsterdamse Bosch ( aprox. 40 min. walking) you get to Amstelveen, a beautiful suburban town whith nice restaurants and cafes.

Nothing to dislike. Just keep in mind that the hotel is outside Amsterdam and it is not situated in a town or village. But the shuttle can get you to the airport in a few minutes from where you can easily get the train/metro to Amsterdam or to anywhere else.

I had an extraordinary stay at Renaissance Schiphol Amsterdam Hotel. We checked in on the evening of July 17th, the eve of my birthday (July 18th), and to my surprise, the hotel upgraded my room to one with the best view. The front desk personnel and manager that evening (I regret forgetting their names) went above and beyond—they welcomed me with the local’s best stroopwafels and a small bottle of prosecco to celebrate the occasion. The hospitality made my birthday truly memorable, and every detail reflected genuine care. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a wide variety of options, and the shuttle service was efficient and convenient. Altogether, the warm gestures, thoughtful surprises, and exceptional service made this stay unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amsterdam, whether for a special occasion or simply for comfort and great service.

The hotel is located a bit further from the airport so you don’t get as much airplane noise in the room. You still get some but the runway it is located next to stops working at a decent enough hour to go to sleep. The staff working the hotel are very friendly. The room itself is a decent size and well decorated. The bathroom is large and we enjoyed that the bathroom also has fogged over windows to the outside to let more natural light in. The bed itself is comfortable to sleep on and we woke up feeling pretty well rested for our 10am flight. The breakfast is expansive and I think you can order eggs from a chef. Unfortunately we did not have the time to take advantage of that as we only had 10 minutes to eat before the shuttle bus arrived to take us to the airport.

The throw pillows in the room could use with an extra cleaning. One of them looked well used. Breakfast opens at 7am during the weekend, not giving very much time to guests to eat before catching a mid morning flight.

We stayed at The Renaissance Schiphol because we had a flight leaving the next day. The hotel was lovely. The windows did an excellent job keeping noise out. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for repacking for our trip back to the States. The shower in the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent; you could even get eggs to order. We would surely stay here again.

There is a free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a period of time during the morning and the afternoon when there is a pause (between 10:15-11:45 and 19:15-20:45). Unfortunately for us, we needed the shuttle during those times. Not a deal breaker.

Comfortable bed, fairly close to airport, food in restaurant was excellent. Staff in restaurant excellent and very friendly.

One particular female checkin staff member doesn’t listen very well. I wanted to settle up my account and then just key box drop. Instead she just charged a protein bar to my credit card. So I still had to checkout when leaving. Same staff member couldn’t tell me the day before where the shuttle dropped off at the airport. In the end I just ordered an uber. It’s ok to give people a shuttle schedule, but you still need to know where it drops off as there are numerous terminals

The room was excellent -- ample closet space and a desk big enough to work at, and the climate control was very easy and not noisy. The room bathroom was VERY clean and this was the best part. Great plumbing and fixtures, ergonomics of bathroom basin to mirror was good.

The restaurant/bar food value for money was not really impressive. I think for evening meal, if we were to do our first late-night check-in over again, we should have eaten at the airport. Or! we should have eaten cup-noodles from the hotel shop. The restaurant/bar food was not so fresh-tasting and felt quite "processed" and mass-produced. Sad sandwiches.

The shuttle to Schiphol airport and train station was free and ran twice each hour. This made getting into Amsterdam from outside the city much easier. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable with modern bathrooms. I had a view of a nearby sheep pasture, which was unexpected and charming. I'd recommend staying here if you're flying in/out of Amsterdam and want the convenience (and price) of an airport hotel but still have access to the city.

Prices on convenience items like snacks and beverages were exceptionally high. The restaurant was reasonably priced with nice service, but the bar drinks were also marked up significantly.

Modern and beautiful. Large room with Nespresso coffee machine. Windows can be opened. 2 hours parking for free. Very friendly during check in and check out. Shuttle bus every 30 minutes (taxi is 35-40€).

Pillows are all too high for me. A selection of different size would be better. My booking included breakfast which was not visible during check in, different to my booking confirmation. It was sorted out, but obviously not as I was asked to sign the bill for it while going for breakfast. I did not have to pay and it was handled kind and professional, but it did not leave a good impression. If it is included in my booking it should not cause trouble to me during my stay.

So my daughter is the person who actually stayed at this hotel, I just made the booking, after her flight home was cancelled as she was waiting to board her flight. She was stranded so I found this hotel near to the airport. I phoned the hotel reception just to explain that it would be my daughter, not I, arriving, just to avoid confusion. The person I spoke to on reception was fantastic, couldn't have been more helpful. They even phoned me back to check on my daughters whereabouts whilst she was making her way to the hotel. Unfortunately, I dont know the persons name, but I'm very grateful. My daughter stayed and said the hotel room was wonderful and very clean and comfortable.

this hotel is great place for stopover. There is a park nearby and our family even managed a break there for a walk. This hotel is accessible with airport shuttle. The reception staff are truly warm team. This hotel is next to canal, sometimes you can see boat passing. This is my first choice again, if I stop over in Amsterdam again. They rent out bicycles too if you want to explore the park.
