Location and breakfast were both excellent. We loved having so many choices at breakfast—bacon, eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, pastries, breads, cheeses, meats… And the Prinsengracht canal is lovely. We made use of the metro often; it’s just a block away—Vijzelgracht station. Many restaurants, cafes, bars, and stores close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

There’s no AC, so if it’s hot, the room might feel stuffy. Fan and open windows helped.

It was a good location. Staff was really helpful. The room was good size and clean. We paid really very high amount for our stay that too without breakfast. INR 132000/- for 5 nights for 3 adults which was higher than other hotels in Europe even compare to 4 star hotels.

We loved the location, and were so glad we booked a package with the included breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very attentive! We appreciated the effort to book our 2 rooms close together.

A few quirks with the facilities could have been improved. The power outlet in our bathroom didn't work, and it was hanging away from the wall with some exposed wires. One of our rooms was extremely hot and stuffy the whole time, which was a little odd considering the time of year (mid-April). Our kids ended up just keeping the windows open most of the time, which helped. We could have gone down to reception to get a cooling unit for the fans in the rooms, so that's on us for not doing that. Overall we still had a positive stay!

There is hardly anything better in Amsterdam to get for the buck. Absolutely central location, clean rooms - the size is another topic, but hey, I am anyhow just sleeping there, right - very nice staff, ok breakfast. They are in the process of refurbishing, but you will not be disturbed by that unless you sleep all day and work all night. Given the price tag (mid Jan) a no-brains recommendation.

There is always room for improvement, so I'd vote for the breakfast. I am not 100% sure those eggs we're real eggs scrambled, or convenience, but they looked suspiciously industrial. And real Muesli options would also be fine.

I love its proximity to central Amsterdam, the Prinsengracht canal at the front of the building and the back gardens both of the hotel and the neighbouring properties. The breakfasts are very well-priced and the staff are on hand to meet any requests. The reception (24 hour) staff are knowledge and very kind especially Marco who has helped us a few times. We’ve stayed at P 3 times now and it kind of feels like “home” each time we return.

Room was perfect, had everything I could need. Location is great, on one of the main canals, but also close to vondelpark and museums. Isn't in the booming tourist area, though easily walkable, so would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a chilled place to stay with good access to everything. 3 minute walk to the main Amsterdam metro line (M52), and to one of the main tram stations.

Nothing at all I disliked.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite ample, with a good choice of food and drinks. Very nice location on the Prinsengracht, not far from the Museum quarter.

The desk chair was very rickety and needs replacing. The room was billed as having a "room safe" but I could not find one anywhere. I asked about this at reception and was informed that the safe was "on the left". But that is where the shower room is. At any rate, I could find no sign of a safe.

Very convenient location in a safe area. It is between a Metro station and a tram stop. Supermarket nearby. Easy access to all main attractions. Quite road, very polite, helpful hotel neighbours. The hotel had few benches outside over looking the canal and we spent few evening on those benches. All staff in the hotel reception spoke good English so communication wasn't an issue, also they were helpful and friendly. Very pretty looking hotel with a lovely flower basket in each window. You can hire bicycles from the hotel which we found very convenient. Rooms and communal areas were very clean.

The room we stayed was quite small for 3 people, bathroom door did not have lock so couldn't lock from inside. The lift is small too but it didn't matter for us as we didn't have large luggages.

Everything..!. The room was tiny and perfect, recently renovated, lovely, and not only had a cute window, but also a door to the garden - what a welcome surprise! (This room was ground level- no stairs). The breakfast was great with great quality Dutch selections plus hot scrambled eggs and bacon.

Really lovely little hotel right on the canal. Close to public transport and walking distance to many places. We had a twin room which comprised of two single rooms sharing a private bathroom, perfect for friends. We appreciated the luggage storage while we went off to explore, and there were plenty of options at breakfast.
