Clean room and friendly stuff

I know a bit silly but I would have liked if the kitchen had salt and maybe more bigger cups for example? It was equiped with the bare minimum, which was good enough but if there was a little bit more livable for our longer stay of 4 people would have been great. You do not realise you need something until you need it to use it really

- Some halls had a bad smell - Dealing with the room temperature was not practical - You don't receive back your deposit after check out so you leave without knowing if it will be returned or not.

Location. Lots of supermarkets around. A little far away from the center - about 30 - 40 min. But the good thing is train/bus stations just around the corner. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

I wish I could have some kind of (in-house) casual sandal / flip-flops so that we didn't have to put my feet into our business shoes whenever I wanted to go out - for a smoke, for example. Second thing: I wish the Lucia's restaurant downstairs could have more choices on the menu. Although, the food are great!

Nice location near to many supermarkets Halal foods, the apartment has everything you need and many transportation stations are right next the property. We definitely return there when back again to Amsterdam

Paid Laundry service, the lamps of the dining table is very near to heads so each time it’s headed me on eyes.

Awesome experience very well above what we expected earlier. And the reception staff friendliness and cooperation was just incredible. I would like to convey special thanks to the reception staff Leandro who made the entire checkin process and stay so relaxed and ensured we are satisfied at every moment and he is very friendly person. Also would like to thank Ilinca for her help in giving more clarity on attractions, bus routes etc. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here and personally if I visit Amsterdam again, Cityden would surely be my first choice based on my experience and also the good location of the property.

Loved our stay here. The room was perfect. Yes, the bedrooms are not private in that they have no doors and the floor plan is more open, but it was not a problem for us. Beds were comfortable. The room and building were quiet. The room was clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen has most things you would need. Heads up that there is no microwave. There’s a grocery store nearby. It’s accessible by transit and not too far from the main areas in Amsterdam. I didn’t know ahead of time that they had laundry facilities in the basement. Would have packed less and used it if I had known. Highly recommend this place.

I stayed in a Studio XL, and it was so spacious and well set out. Bed was super comfy, the kitchen nicely kitted out, with special touches (such as dish soap, etc.) for self-catering. The restaurant downstairs has amazing breakfast and also loved the burger. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Everything can be done cashless, they even have a little shop downstairs for late-night snacking if needed. I used the laundry services, and this similarly was good - nice, well-maintained machines.

The lifts can take a bit long, but other than that, nothing to complain about.

Friendly staff, big clean room and the kitchen was equipped with glasses, plates, cutlery, etc., pretty much all that one would need. The extensible sofa already had bedsheets on in advance, even if it was not extended. There are public transport stations nearby that can be used to roam around.

The bed was large but had two mattresses across that would split apart during the night. The room also had an extensible couch but it was very squeaky and seemed very fragile. There is a metro station nearby but it seemed like 10 minutes away so we settled for buses and trams. Getting to the center required changing transport as there was no direct route. Did not try the metro though. Also, they brag about serving Starbucks coffee, but when we got a coffee from the restaurant at the ground floor it was around 4€ for a bad coffee in a small cup (250ml?) that was not even full. That was meant to be a latte, not an espresso or something.

Close to trains and bus. A little longer but pleasant walk to the metro along the canal.

1. I did not like that our room could not be cleaned until after 7 days. We had to pay for extra cleaning services if we wanted the room to be cleaned! There were dust balls by the 4th day! I think there should be option for complimentary cleaning by 3rd day. 2. Despite the staff’s assurance the detergent was in the washing machine, there was none. We were told that they would refund us the money but after 2 days, and we were to leave the next day, we asked again and were told to get refund from vendor!

It was located close to several options of local transportation to get you into Amsterdam Central District along with about a 40 minute journey to the airport. Great value at $145 per night for 4 people (room has ability to sleep six but only one showering room and a separate toilet room) and a large living & dining area. The staff were the best and several grocery stores within 5 minute walk. Bus and tram stations 3-4 minutes away. Area very safe and police station across the green space away. We purchased a 3-day regional transportation ticket (covers all trams, buses, the metro, trains, ferries around Amsterdam) for $40 USD for each person. We made our breakfast but their breakfast was offered for just over $20 USD if gave notice the night before. You will need all your own condiments if you will be cooking yourself.

Lighting is very lacking in the kitchen area with only the hood vent light being the main source. The kitchen was lacking a few things to make meal prep much easier (like a toaster, pizza pan, oven rack and a couple additional pans). Instructions for the oven/microwave would have been beneficial for us Americans. We made due though. The layout doesn’t allow any privacy but we knew about that before we booked and was willing to give it a try.
