The hotel was great, as were all the staff. There is decent soundproofing, so you're not really able to hear the trains passing by outside unless everything is very quiet. It's a 5-minute walk from the station, and you can go pretty much anywhere. There is a train to Centraal every 5-6 minutes. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with kitchenware, while the hotel, in general, had a great cozy and stylish vibe. You also get a box of kitchen essentials for a longer stay with dish detergent, dishwasher tabs, a sponge and a brush, a trash bag, and a Swedish dishcloth. The staff was incredibly helpful about everything we needed, from more sugar or salt to transport directions and even giving food recommendations (which we had delivered to the front desk a couple of times). They can also arrange some of the transportation tickets for you if you need them. The mini market inside is fully stocked with basics at all times, as well as hotel-branded merch and various Netherlands- and Amsterdam-themed trinkets you can get as gifts. Keep in mind that if you have any dietary restrictions (like lactose or gluten), you might not find what you need at the mini-market but there are plenty of supermarkets nearby.

Loved everything about the place! Highly recommend.Perfectly located next to the Sloterdijk train/bus/tram station. Just 5 min by train to Amsterdam Centraal. Download NS app for train tickets, it's so easy to use. You can also take a train to any other city from Sloterdijk, like e.g. Den Haag, Rotterdam, Leiden etc. The room was quiet 24/7. Beds were super comfortable. We slept so good! Cleaning was done daily. Room is equipped with a safe, hair dryer, fridge, stove. Special thanks for coffee, tea, sugar in the room🫶There is a small grocery store SPAR next to the station. The choice is not large there, and it's quite expensive. But we found a proper Lidl store just 12 min (walking) away from the hotel. The neighborhood is good and safe. Reception is opened 24/7. We were allowed to leave our luggage after check out at a luggage room for free.

Hotel as described by others. Ideal location if you don't want to stay in Amsterdam centre. Trains easy 6m and tap and go your debit card about £2.40 per journey. Also easy to get to windmills and coast or other places. Spar round the corner at station and the kitchenette meant we could eat in after a long day or have breakfast cheaply. Overall a good place to stay. Felt safe and had a small gym and roof terrace to use and could a few snack and drinks in the lobby. Room good size and practical. Bed large and exceptionally comfortable.

This is being super picky but.. tea/coffee/sugar not replenished although im sure if we could have asked for this. TV not the best and all Dutch programmes. Was exceptionally hot the first 4 days in our room, then it seemed cooler so we think there was something switched on to ventilate the rooms, not air-conditioning as such but central ventilation. Our room faced the train tracks which we didn't mind but it did mean that with the windows open the trains were loud although we soon found them oddly comforting! If the weather had been cooler it wouldn't have been an issue as the windows shut out most of the noise. Only thing missing from the kitchen was a teatowel. The bathroom wasn't fancy but very practical.

The location is absolutely fantastic – peaceful surroundings, yet just a 2-minute walk to a major train station, tram stop, and many bus lines. It’s super easy to reach the city center in about 20 minutes. The hotel has a beautiful terrace for socializing and even a small shop inside that’s open 24/7 – a really nice touch!

What I didn’t like was that our room still wasn’t ready at 15:15, and we weren’t the only ones waiting. Minor set back. The biggest downside, however, was the mattress – there were deep dips on both sides from heavy use, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable.

Great set up, right next to the train station, tram and bus stops. Loved having the kitchenette setup, as well as the extended mini market downstairs in reception for a quick coffee or snack.

The location is excellent. It was clean. The kitchen was nice. Coffee and tea were replaced everyday if it was used. It is spacious. Bathroom size is decent. There is laundry onsite.

Sadly not all room types have bathtubs. The dish washing tablet wasn’t offered for all the days we’ve stayed, only 3 were offered. Had to buy the extras, but the mini shop was extremely difficult to use. The prices on the goods itself from the mini shop can be different with what it showed on the computer when you are paying. Needed to change tokens for laundry usage, I suggest the hotel to make a poster letting people know how to use the machines. Had to walk up and down the stairs to ask and change tokens.

The hotel boasts an excellent location—conveniently close to the station yet remarkably quiet, with no disturbance from city noise. This made it easy for us to travel around Amsterdam, including to the city center and the airport. One of the standout features is the rooftop terrace, a beautifully designed space perfect for relaxing or spending time with friends also staying at the hotel. The entire property was impeccably clean and pleasantly fragrant, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which truly enhanced our overall experience.

Restaurant or bar missing. The bed was clean and comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. However, the size of the double bed was smaller than expected. While we didn’t need a king-size bed, the mattress bent slightly outward at the edges, causing the body to slide down during sleep. This made it a bit difficult to rest properly through the night.

The hotel's location was a 5 mins walk to Sloterdijk train station which made it very convenient to get to the city centre, Zaanse Schann & also the airport. The room was clean, toilet was a little small but had towels. We liked that there was a temperature control for the room to allow us to adjust to what we felt comfortable in winter. The kitchen area was sufficiently equipped with a fridge, pots, pans & also an oven. The hotel also provided a cleaning kit which was useful as we did some cooking for a few of the nights spent there. Staff was very helpful and friendly when assisting us with our needs. The hotel also kindly offered a small compensation as service recovery due to some of the inconveniences we encountered.

One of the lifts was not working so we had to wait a while to get to our turn when it was used by the cleaning crew. The TV channels were not working in the room during our stay despite the staff's effort to help us get it resolved.

I visited Amsterdam to spend my Birthday in peaceful solitude, The Hotel workers definitely "understood" the assignment. The only time I saw and interacted with them was at the check-in desk. I also received a cute and thoughtful present for my Birthday 🎂 which was placed on the handle of my door. The room is perfectly clean, and it's 5 minutes from the closest restaurant, transport etc. Besides the fact that is so close to train, bus, tram etc stations, its not loud or noisy. The transport works until very late.(by late i mean I had a tram from Central to Hotel after midnight on a Sunday). If you need to go to Airport then you can take the train from there and is only 10/15 minutes and the ticket is only €5/€6. Another amazing point is if you are caught by a surprise rain you don't need to be upset as the Hotel provides free umbrellas for their customers to borrow. I 5 at midnight and was hungry 😩 but..Thankfully the hotel has a small corner with snacks,drinks, Ramen etc. It's self-service so you can come and buy at any time the rooms are also fully furnished with a working kitchen. I'm really happy and glad 😊 i booked this place,if I ever will visit Amsterdam again,for sure I'll stop here.
