The bed is so comfortable and the room is very spacious

The receptionist wasn't friendly at all. I requested for a room with bathtub in advance, apparently the double rooms only come with a shower but it wasn't stated like that on booking.com and I wasn't informed earlier about this. So I asked her in a friendly manner that if it's possible for me to switch to a twin room since the price is the same. She then gave me a sneer smile which shocked me, I don't understand how on earth can a receptionist do this to a customer. I wasn't even greeted with a smile from the start till the end.

The location was good for us, in a few minutes we could get the city center. The room was clean and organized, the coffee machine provided in the room surprised me, I really enjoy it. The option to keep our luggage before check-in is great! The member of staff "Ines" was so great and very funny. We enjoined everything!

Very spacious room with a big bathroom, there were 3 of us and we had more than enough space. Beds are amazing. The location is not central, however it's not an issue because the public transport connections are excellent. There is a transit stop approx 4 minutes walking from the hotel with a tram line and several bus lines that take you to the city center quickly, and the nearest metro stop is about 8-10 minutes by walking from the hotel, also very close.

The room was clean and warm, there is a thermostat in the room that it's actually working, you can adjust the temperature based on your preference. The bed was comfy, you have a chair and a desk in case you need to work from the room, there is also a fridge where you can store food. You can get the bus to the city centre in 5 mins from the hotel. There are a few supermarkets close to the hotel and some fast-food restaurants in case you get hungry in the evening. Staff was nice and helpful as well.

The wi-fi worked very poorly in the first night spent at this hotel, but for the rest of my stay it was fine.

The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was lovely. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Supermarket, bakery and other shops next to the hotel.

Half an hour away from the city centre but bus stop is 2mins walk.

Our room was clean and spacious, we had coffee machine and hot water to make tea. Everyday someone checked our room of we need new towels or more coffee or tea, and to make beds. The staff was friendly and we felt safe as you had to confirm your card in the elevator. Big advantage was the fact that one of the main stations - Amsterdam Sloterdijk, was very close by, we traveled by train as well as bus so it was convenient. When it comes to public transport in Amsterdam the tram stop was right outside the hotel as well as grocery shop. Yet we mostly walked and the route to the centre took us about an hour on foot.

The only thing we couldn’t figure out is the air conditioning - I was under the impression that even after changing temperature on the device the room temperature stayed the same.

booked the night of and the staff were super accomodating and lovely and was super easy to get to. locationally was great, with tram access it was around 30 minutes into the city centre, it was also surrounded by a courtyard of food spots and grocery stores!. The bed was the comfiest thing ever and the room was a really good size. I spent majority of my time in the room as i was unwell and it was really good and the staff were amazing too. the bathroom was also super good and super clean! 1000% recommend

the only one minor thing was the breakfast- wasn’t the best for the money you pay for it additionally but everything else was flawless!!!!

I have been to many European countries, I can say that XO hotel is one of the best I have ever experienced. We have had a special occasion but I forgot to mention that, yet they gave us a very good room. The room was perfectly designed, spacious with a nice view. The staff is very professional, helpful, cooperative, and ready all the time to give valuable information . The coffee machine was an advantage with all the coffee and tea you can make, and you can get more capsules from the reception anytime. The house keeping is very good and professional, always filling what’s lacking without asking. Bathtub is really an added value. The location of hotel is not in the center, however all facilities are nearby and the access to the center is smooth by public transportation.

The room was much bigger than expected - the bed was huge and comfy, and the room was very spacious - much bigger than expected! The hotel staff were very friendly, and overall it was a great stay.

If you don't have a bike, the location is a little tricky. Public transport stops early in Amsterdam, so getting back can be a bit of a nightmare. However, during the daytime, it is very well connected. Unfortunately, you could smell sewage from the bathroom, which wasn't pleasant, but shutting the door and opening the windows meant that it was easily resolved.

The room was really spacious. Large & comfortable bed. Room was clean & had a safe, coffee machine, hairdryer, iron & fridge. Transport is really close by, just a short walk & you can get on the bus or tram so its a good spot for travelling, although out of the centre but the transport came every few minutes. We were never waiting longer than 10 minutes on transport. Staff were all friendly. Really quiet, barely saw or heard other guests, so we slept well.

The pillows were uncomfortable, there more like a cushion than a pillow. Amenities were good in the room but the bathroom is a bit dated. The corridors are quite dated too. Breakfast was expensive so opted out. No restaurant in the building, just breakfast. We stayed during ADE so it was expensive for the 2 nights.
