It had a co-working space for people who work remote, a gym, laundry and everything you need. There was a cafe for coffee, breakfast, food. Spacious room. Tables outside to sit at and work. Bike rentals. Friendly staff

The curtain in my room fell off the track on the first morning I arrived and it took 3 days for them to fix. They told me it wasn’t a priority when I asked about it after it wasn’t fixed the first day I told them about it. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain properly. The bike rental (€18/day) was a little expensive for guests who were staying long term especially for the quality of the bike.

Eco friendly, very close to public transport, lovely atmosphere, easy and early check in, very friendly staff. Overall really loved our stay would 100% stay again if we visit but not in summer!

The climate control didn’t cool room down on hot day, windows were more effective but we were on 1st floor so didn’t want to leave them open when out. there was a lamp attached to the headboard of the bed and were clumsy 😅, steps to access the main reception was slightly steep and narrow for a clumsy person like me but I didn’t check for another entrance so there may be one

Location next to a train station where, in 20 minutes you will be at the Central station. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk, very helpful. Highly recommend.

The communication with the hotel staff was not good. I wrote them weeks before we arrived asking for a room upgrade with additional pay of course but I have not received a proper response. Also I asked for advices where to book tours to avoid scam, i sent a message though the Whatsapp number they indicated on the reservation but the response was not helpful. But overall we enjoyed our stay. It’s only the communication that has to be improved. In my opinion.

What amazed me mostly was the dorm vibe this place gave you. It was filling you with energy, making you feel back in your student years. People playing pool, watching TV, taking pictures in the photo boot or just chatting, and if you needed a bit of quiet space you can use the library. Also, back in your room you cannot hear a sound from the other people just having fun outside. I've also never expected a self check-in, but it pleasantly surprised me. You can also seek help as well from a staff member, which was always helpful and with a smile on their face. This made the interaction with them even prettier. Also right outside the hotel you have the bus and metro stations, getting you anywhere you need in no time.

Maybe a little fridge would be awesome to have in the room, but no deal breaker. Can survive without it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Social Hub Amsterdam West from August 5 to August 8, and I can confidently say it was a fantastic experience! Upon arrival, we encountered a minor hiccup with the lift in our building being out of service. However, the reception staff were incredibly accommodating and swiftly arranged for us to move to another building without any hassle. Their professionalism and willingness to assist made us feel valued as guests right from the start. Once we settled into our new room, we were thoroughly impressed. The room was impeccably clean, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. We enjoyed a lovely view that added to the overall ambiance of our stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the bathroom, which featured a luxurious bathtub—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. Additionally, having a coffee machine in the room was a delightful touch, allowing us to enjoy our morning brew at our leisure. The location is also worth mentioning; it’s conveniently situated with easy access to public transport, making it simple to explore all that Amsterdam has to offer. Overall, I highly recommend The Social Hub Amsterdam West for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The combination of excellent service, cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities truly sets this place apart. I can’t wait to return on my next visit to Amsterdam!

-Great location right on a tram and metro line. -The room was comfortable for two of us (the bed was sloping inwards a little, but this could have just been in our room). -Lots of options for the buffet breakfast. -The gym is super well equipped! -Games and activities in the main lobby area. -Washers and dryers available for use.

- The bed was pushed up against the wall on one side and had a wardrobe at the foot of it. This made it difficult when sleeping with two people in one bed. - If you want to have the buffet breakfast, make sure to add it when you book or when you check in (15€ as opposed to 18€). We went on our check out day and just paid for it then and there which was more expensive. Another tip: if there are many people lining up at the coffee machine, maybe skip the coffee. It tasted burnt since the machine was constantly being used.

Everything was amazing, the only reason I put 4 stars on facilities is because the TV was not a smart TV and couldn’t connect to Netflix. Not the main goal for my stay, but just good to have. And it would have also been nice to have mini fridge. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but there was also a coffee maker on the room which was awesome for a quick coffee and tea. I would recommend it and would totally come back. It’s 30 minutes on Tram or Bus to City Center and 30 minutes on Metro to Airport.

Amazing hotel right next to the metro station, tram stop right in front of it and plenty shops around it for a quick bite or more. Location 10/10 The staff was amazing. Starting from Dominic on the check-in until the very last minute every single one of them were polite, helpful and informed about everything.10/10

The only thing that I feel I should be mentioning is the fact that the bed wasn't a proper double bed, more like a big single and the proof of that is that one of us had the bed light on top of our head. Other than that it was an amazing experience.

I like the concept of the Social Hub. Felt like I was back to the university again. They have all the facilities one needs in a modern student hostel, and more. The room and facilities are very clean, and we feel safe with the controlled access to every zone. Wifi is speedy, laundry is free, and there are common areas to hang out. Both Metro and Tram stations are just 2 min walk away from the facilities, hence even though it took about 20 min for us to reach the central, it was very convenient.

Easy going and super friendly social hub, very nice social areas to get work done and unwind with games of pool table, table tennis and table soccer. We were on a business trip and it was perfect. Great vegan food and snacks at the restaurant/cafe that tasted delicious and were promoted as first choices. Washing room with washer and dryer available for free. Gym with a squat rack to get really great workouts in - not your usual hotel gym. Situated in the middle of all nice parks of Amsterdam could reach a new park less than 1km away in every direction - absolute runners paradise. Great coffee machine in room 😍. A bit far from the center, but only 1 min walk to the metro and tram stations made up for it. Also very nice to cycle in the area and get to the city by bike.

The bathroom sink was a joke - although the bathroom was huge, the sink was so small you couldn't even fill the tiny kettle in it without needing to use a small glass to fill it. Also it was mounted right at the corner so you hit your ellbow at the wall brushing your teeth if you stood over the sink. Very annoying but as everything else was just perfect you could look over it. Bike rental was a bit overpriced as you can get bikes for half the price around every corner.
