Location was very close to the tram which went directly into the city centre, and the bed was quite comfortable. Check-in was very easy as well.

We booked a room with a kitchenette because we were hoping to cook some of our meals instead of eating out for every meal, but there were no cooking utensils/plates/cutlery, etc. except for 2 small glasses. We wouldn’t have bothered booking a room with a kitchenette if we knew we’d have no way to use it.

I knew the Social Hub brand before and this one did not disappoint. Very buzzy with people, great bar, wifi and amenities. Love the attention to sustainability.

The location was perfect for what I needed, and next to a subway station. However, there is no supermarket around and food delivery was always late because there are not a lot of drivers around due to the location...this doesn't leave a lot of options but the bar at the hotel. The other thing I would mention is that the door were quite heavy and my room was next to one in the hallway (I imagine one of those for fire/safety reasons); every time someone had to pass in the hallway, they'd open the door and it would shut quite loudly making a strong noise in my room. Gave me a bit of a scare a couple of times

Although it’s located outside the canal district, most major attractions can be reached within about 30 minutes. It's close to both tram and subway stops, and transfers to trains are also convenient, making it a cost-effective choice spot. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they solved our issue perfectly. The accommodation also offers app-based reservations for self-service washing machines and dryers, which is very convenient.

The bathroom in our room had a separate wet and dry area, but a large amount of water still flowed into the dry area, leaving the floor mat constantly wet. Additionally, we were assigned a room right next to the door of a restricted access area, so we frequently heard the sound of the door opening and closing. If you're sensitive to noise, it's worth confirming room placement with the hotel in advance.

The room was great: spacious, clean and really comfortable bed. Room is well stocked with tea and coffee. WiFi connection is also good. Hotel also has a nice, lively atmosphere. It's a good option if you're after a comfortable stay at affordable price.

Despite public transport options close to the hotel, the hotel is far from the centre. It can take anywhere between 30-40mins to get to the centre once you factor in waiting for trains/trams. But the metro/tram stop are at the doorstep and the distance is reflected in the price. There's also not a lot nearby for food options and amenities, including many bike rental options. The hotel seems to run out quite quickly.

This is an amazing place to stay for young travellers. There's a lot of facilities and spaces to work or study, or even connect with others. I liked the room, it's spacious and bright, and the curtains make it really dark if closed. The products in the bathroom were amazing! They provide you with shampoo, conditioner and even body lotion. The self check-in makes it easy to register. Amazing facility!

The only drawback I could think of is the location. Although it's right next to subway station, it takes 25 to 35 minutes to reach the city center, so it's good to keep it in mind and plan the travel accordingly.

The staff was very friendly, except for the one person who was on duty when i checked out. The breakfast was good. check in and check out was flexible.

The location was little far from Dam square. So traveling by taxi is expensive. Please train all staff members in the same way. I had a real bad experience early in the morning when i asked for help to get a taxi for me when i checked out. He was simply clueless and little rude. The previous night i asked the person in the reception desk, will it be possible to get a taxi arranged in the morning to go to airport. Because UBER some times didn't come on time. She said "No problem some one will be here and they will be happy to get that done." But the person there was exact opposite to what she said. He did not even know where to get the taxi service number. Luckily I called a UBER and it came on time. Other than that rest is all good.

Was a great place with great customer service ,they were always glad to lend a helping hand when it came to recommending places to eat or explore. Also just really nice people and some tasty food as well.

The only things I had a problem with during our stay was more room issues ,our shower would flood the floor if we took a shower any longer then ten mins ,so we had to make them short and sweet. Also the room gets uncomfortably hot during the day and is also uncomfortable trying to sleep in during the night. We were on vacation so I wasn’t trying to put a damper on our trip with the little things but yeah other then that great stay.

The staff are lovely. The cleaner was friendly, polite, always smiled and working hard every time I saw her. The staff at the cafe downstairs were polite and friendly as-well, they made us feel very welcome ☺️ Upon checking out we left our luggage with staff who put our suitcases in a safe room with a tag and gave us a ticket to hand back over when we were ready to pick them up again to go home which reassured me that our luggage was secure and wouldn’t go missing. The gym is a great addition to the stay, has a bit of everything you need in there (gym matts, weights, running machines, interactive workouts you can follow on screen etc). Everyone was cleaning equipment after use which was nice to see. It was never very busy, max 3-4 people in there from my experience. I really enjoyed the food we had. We had a pizza, and a couple different baguettes while staying here that I found tasty and satisfying. The hot chocolate with pistachio sauce and whipped cream was chefs kiss, I highly recommend having that! You can choose to scan the QR code at your table to order food and drinks, however they had issues with their system so it hadn’t updated letting us know some things were out of stock which we’d already paid for. This was made up to me though with a choice of sweet treat which was technically worth more than the discrepancy, and the lady was helpful and understanding. I would make sure you do ask if there is anything unavailable after ordering though as it wasn’t until I asked about how the app would refund the unavailable items, that I was told to ask at reception about what they could do or I could have something from the cake counter (which is the option I chose). To her credit, they are busy and once mentioned she was quick to resolve the issue. I loved the location. There is a lovely place called Boes & Beis that serve cooked breakfasts and pancakes which were nice and it’s just a 3 minute walk from the hotel.

Overall, our stay was positive: the hotel has excellent facilities and the staff is super friendly. While it's not right next to the main attractions, there’s a Metro and Tram station just in front of the hotel, making it easy and quick to reach the city center.

The only downside was the temperature in the room. It was warm in Amsterdam during our stay, and even though we kept the curtains closed and the AC on all day, the room was still quite warm at night. My wife and I had trouble falling asleep because of the heat. The staff was friendly and offered helpful suggestions, but since our room faced the sun all day, there wasn’t much they could do. I’d still recommend the hotel—but keep in mind the time of year you’re visiting. If you're coming during warm days, be aware that the room might not stay as cool as you'd hope.

The hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. There is a cafe-bar and a convenient reception desk in the lobby. Free billiards and table tennis, free gym. The room has a large comfortable bed, daily cleaning of the room, change of linen and renewal of coffee capsules, tea bags and bottles of water, there is climate control, a kitchen with a refrigerator.

The problem with kitchen utensils is that they simply aren't there, and also, when you leave the hotel, there's nowhere to go, you have to take the tram or metro only to the city center. And that's about half an hour there and half an hour back.
