The room was very tidy and I thought the decoration (of the bedroom and common areas) of very good taste. The hotel was very quiet the night we spent there, so we had a good time. Also, the breakfast had a lot of options, some of them even displayed in sustainable packages, which I really appreciate, and I was really surprised to find gluten free options for breakfast.

Though the hotel is really charming, we would really appreciate if the hotel had its own shuttle, since it shares the Ramada Hotel Shuttles. It was ok for us, because we had just a few suitcases and it was not rainning, but with a little kid, really tired from a long trip, it would save us the bother. There's also some few minutes walk till the bus stop, for those who want to go to Amsterdam Centraal, but it takes more than one transfer. I would rather recommend staying in this hotel for families who want to stay very close to the airport (remind them it's easier to take a taxi or uber) or for families who are spendig some time in Netherlands but want to runnaway from the agitation and chaos of Amsterdam (mainly Amsterdam Centraal).

We had a midnight return flight ~02:00am and would need a room, and we wanted to leave our car, so this hotel was our first choice, given the vicinity to the airport (means taxi at that time). We got good help upon arrival and not only a good place for our car, but also the urgently needed room at return, to find the necessary sleep.

On arrival the room was not well aerated, not too surprising given the tropic, humid climate in NL these days. After a short aeration, this was resolved, and also the noise from the street was limited, so we slept through, well - too long, so we missed the breakfast :-(

The instructions for getting there were clear. We hopped on the Ramada shuttle then walked the short walk down the street to the hotel. The room was lovely. Pillow and bed were super comfortable. Loved the decor. The price was very reasonable. The breakfast was fantastic. The personnel were lovely.

There was no lift and carrying luggage up steep stairs was a bit of a challenge. Also, the room wasn't quite finished. The hotel was undergoing fairly major renovations. I think it's going to be wonderful when the renos are done and the lift is functioning. As it was, the room was very comfortable and morning breakfast was fantastic.

The staff was super nice. What was really cool and surprising: the hotel was in a small town in the countryside, quiet and sleepy, while you still could see the airport. There was even a shuttle. I was stuck at the airport for 2 days due to the global computer outage, and it was the perfect location for getting away from n the airport madness while still in reach. I could walk around the town and buy some food and supplies.

Unfortunately, the aircondition they are installing right now wasn't running yet. It was one of the few hot summer nights Europe had this season. I would rate 10 stars if I had had that co.fort already.

The style of the hotel and the room is nice and it is very clean and neat.

The 80km road against the hotel was noisy for me and the Windows are not made to isolate the sound. I had to wear ear plugs specially while sleeping. If they make a think window to isolate the noise from car it would be 9/10. I don’t appreciate bars inside the hotels and i noticed a bar at the entrance to the dinning area, specially traveling with family. If they remove the bar it would be 10/10.

We only stayed one night but was just what we needed before flying out very early the next morning. The room was just what we needed & we were very grateful for a lovely man at the front desk assisting us. He was very thorough with taking us through what we need & checking we’ve got everything sorted for the next day. Very convenient that you can also book an airport shuttle - this was a total game changer!

The Herbergh is beautiful. The restaurant is quaint and has the most delicious pizza! Rooms and beds are comfortable.

The heating system was confusing as there weren't instructions. As a foreign traveller, I didn't know the system and had to figure it out late at night. It was effective, though, when I was able to get it to work. A mini refrigerator in the room would have been a bonus to keep water and milk or baby food etc.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast really good and everything was clean and comfortable. Its proximity to the airport is another plus. The complimentary bottle of Cava went down really well after a day of travelling.

At the moment, there is no lift. However we understand that major renovations are being undertaken and a refurbished greeting area and a lift will be part of the upgrade, expected to take place within the next 12 months.

The staff was exceptionally kind and forthcoming. I liked the food, both for breakfast and lunch. The hotel is easily accessible from/to the airport and the shuttle connection (from a larger hotel nearby) is frequent and convenient. I was also allowed to stay a bit longer in my room (check out 13:30 instead of 11:00).

The window in my room did not shut fully and it was cold in the room, despite the heating fully on. In other circumstances I would have certainly made a fuss, but I was tired after the whole day and late evening at the airport (my flight was cancelled) and I fell asleep in my socks within minutes. I discovered the problem with the window in the morning - I even asked the cleaning lady to shut the window to make sure it's not my lack of skill (she didn't manage). I was tired and slept well, so it's forgotten.

Friendly staff. It was close to Schiphol. There was no refrigerator though. I was on the ground floor, the room was a little dated but it was sufficient for a one night stay. It was a short walk to the Ramada where the shuttle back departed from to Shiphol. There is a fee of €6.50 for the ride back, which needed to be booked.

I would have like to have had a small refrigerator.
