I have to travel though Schipol several times a year on long hauls and usually have to spend a night before my flight back home so I have stayed in almost all hotels in the area and the Sheraton its simply the best. Its worth the extra money to not having to take a shuttle and having access to the airport allows you to have more dining options and purchasing gifts with no pressure.

Age 91, hobbling along solo with a cane, your hotel was my last stay after ten days touring in the UK and Netherlands. It could not have been a more delightful culmination

Room was clean, spacious and tidy as you would expect from this chain.

The staff had a poor attitude. On check in we were told we had booked a twin room but had been "upgraded". When I pointed out I had booked a King room anyway ("upgrade") they were off hand and dismissive. On check out they tried to charge us. When I pointed out I had prepaid we were treated as if we were in the wrong and spoken to like idiots until someone realised they were trying to charge us for another customer's room. Apparently someone had opened two screens instead of just ours. I get mistakes, we all make them, its the way I was treated while they were making them that was disappointing. . Going to stay at the Hilton next time.

The best hotel to commute from Amsterdam Airport to city downtown and other national and international cities. It's less than 5 minutes away from the main arrival/departure area and the train station. It's a well appointed, functionality centered hotel. Modern rooms with all basic amenities. Our room had a good view of the airport and a runway if you like to watch airplanes- this is a good one to stay in. We appreciated that after checking out we could leave our carry on luggage for a few hours and explore the city one more time without the hassle.

Very expensive for what it is, comparable hotels would be at least $ 100 less. The hotel food is outrageously expensive, the hotel's breakfast buffet at 40 Euros per person is probably double the price of any other comparable one. TV has limited options in English, there is no practical guide- you have to scroll through dozens of channels until you stumble on one.

40 euros for breakfast is just not to be justified

I stayed twice -- arriving to and leaving from Amsterdam -- and was happy both times. It's connected to the airport and is an easy walk to and from the gates, as well as to the trains. The hotel was very clean, welcoming, and modern. My rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Again, modern, with lots of amenities and a lovely bathroom. Down the hall was a hot beverage station. The breakfast was generous and varied. Room service was professional and on time. The check-in staff was welcoming and helpful. Higher cost than I usually pay, but the convenience and comfort were well worth it.

The hotel is lovely and the receptionists are great. It us clean and quiet, with comfy beds. Rooms look nice. Price I paid per night was around 300 dollars and I stayed 2 nights due to a flight cancelation and rebooking. Nice building right at the airport ... 100 m walk on a ramp that is accessible to all. Elegant halls and clear glass elevators. Several floors. All sparkle.

The restaurants are bad. I paid 22 euro for a hog dog under the wrong description. It said sausage with relish and sauerkraut. It had nothing to do .. it was a plain hot dog of lowest quality, a frank with ketchup on a small baguette. Waiters are nice. The chef should be fired. Way overpriced for small portions of really bad food.

Just an overnight stay , room was a reasonable size and was very comfortable with black out curtains.. Great there was a decent coffee machine on each level complementary..

We checked in early our room wasn’t ready, so the girl offered us to upgrade for a room which was ready , we declined and asked if we could just drop our luggage in storage, yes she replied but suddenly there was a room ready .. I really don’t like this upsell style which is happening regularly these days ..

This is one of my favorite airport hotels - it is super close to the terminal at Schipol, you don't even have to go outside. It is super clean and there is an array of restaurants and bars that feel surprisingly lively for an airport hotel. The rates are usually good (unlike the Sheraton in Charles de Gaulle).

The pillows are not that great - they were extremely thin and insubstantial. Sometimes check in takes a while here as there are long lines. Staff is very nice, however. There is only instant coffee in the room and the coffee machines in the hallways often do not seem to work.
