The hotel was excellent and what you expect from Mercure hotels. The room was a great size for us and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent and the shower was very good. It was a perfect location for us for where we were visiting. The staff were very professional and very charming and helpful. We arrived late and the restaraunt was closed but they made us Pizzas which we got to our room and which was superb and very much appreciated. I would definately stay here again.

The only negative side to our stay was the charge for parking. At 25 euros a night i thought was excessive. I had booked the hotel as it had free parking but turned out not to be the case. I had to pay an additional 75 euros to park at the hotel which i didn't expect. This was the only downside to an enjoyable stay.

The room was very clean and large, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived earlier than our scheduled check-in time but they were able to give us a room. We only stayed one night so we did not try breakfast.

The hotel itself is great, but it is very far from the city center, and farther from the airport than you realize. It's only on a bus route, not a train/tram stop. The bus stop is a few hundred yards away from the hotel, so you definitely have to walk a ways to get to it. If you have luggage, and the weather is bad, I don't recommend taking a bus to (or from) the hotel, get a taxi instead.

We were stranded in Amsterdam from flight cancellations and significant delays in Schiphol. We were having a less than ideal start to our holiday, but the staff at this hotel were exceptional and really made up for everything. Very understanding and very accommodating for me and my young child. Special shout-out to Deborah !

The shower design of the room was somewhat strange. Drainage was at the highest point. So the floor never fully dries. The tap at the sink opens towards the mirror behind it and I always feared that I was going to crack the mirror.

The hotel was in a good position for us, not far from the airport with a good bus service. It was out of the city but easy and quick to get there, and nice to come back to a calm environment at the end of a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was very good with an excellent choice, and the staff went out of their way to make sure all was as required. The evening meals, although a limited menu, were very good value for money.

Decor in the room a little tired, but it was clean and all facilities as expected.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room and the bathroom were nice, the AC worked well and was not loud, and it was possible to open the window a little to get some fresh air. It was also good that it was possible to buy some basic food in the lobby and to warm it up in a microwave owen.

The mini fridge in the room was not very efficient, the armchair was uncomfortable to work on with a laptop on the desk, and the armchair could use some cleaning.

Very modern and up to date. Gentlemen on the desk kindly upgraded our hotel rooms. So we could check in early at 8 in the morning too because he could see how exhausted we were. Hotel was always clean. Cleaners came in everyday to change bed sheets, towels. And clean where needed cleaning. Air conditioning work great. And bed was lovely and comfortable. I have rheumatoid arthritis. So the bed being comfy was the icing on the cake. And the guy also explained to us about how and what transport to get into central. And about the tram passes which work out alot cheaper.

The lift. Only because it was very small it managed to fit 4 people in there squished with a large suitcase and to bags. But wouldn’t say it’s the best for people who don’t like confined spaces

As for the pros: 1. The hotel works 24/7, the front door can be opened with a card. 2. Despite the reparations of the corridors, the rooms are clean and quiet. However, we have changed privilege room to a standard one, and it seemed to be cleaner. 3. The mattresses are veeery comfortable. 4. The mini bar in the Privilege room is stocked with items that can be used free of charge. There were candy bars, sodas and beer. 5. It is possible to pay for the room in cash. A big plus for that.

As for the minuses: 1. It is inconvenient to go to the hotel by public transport, infrastructure for pedestrians is poorly developed although this issue rather city’s not a hotel’s. 2. The standard room we moved in for one night seemed to be cleaner than the privileged one we stayed for 3 nights at.

I liked that it was clean, beautiful rooms, the mini fridge always stocked with drinks you can have free of charge. They have a very comfortable bed, and the green spaces outside are really nice. The food they serve it's also really great.

The hotel is really good. But I wouldn’t recommend to stay unless you have a car. To get to the center from the hotel is easy, there is a bus close by and then a tram taking you directly to most of the city parts. The travel time is around 35 min. But coming back is the difficult part, because you need to go to the airport and take the bus to the hotel, which is a 40 to 50 min ride.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Easy enough to navigate public transport to the centre of Amsterdam. Close to the airport. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options. Nice lake across the road to go for a morning walk.

We stayed at a time when the hotel was being refurbished. This meant the corridors to the room were not aesthetically pleasing, and the building work was visible. The gym was not good, with some equipment broken and not safe to use. Car park very expensive at €25 per day.

Good, comfortable and clean rooms that have been updated. Great breakfast selection. Great proximity to airport for our last night before flying home. Privilege room with mini bar was nice. Most of the staff very polite and friendly.

Noisy neighbors. Inconsiderate person brought a speaker to their room and blasted music all night. Reception spoke to them and they turned it down but bass still penetrated walls. What's wrong with people like that. We come to hotels to rest, duh. Old elevator and small. Hallways do not represent rooms well. Was a nice surprise when we opened door and entered room.
