The hotel’s location and infrastructure are excellent. It’s easy to call a taxi or access the nearby metro. Despite being close to a highway, the windows are well-insulated, so you don’t hear the noise from traffic or the nearby airport. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, with ample parking available. The lobby is beautiful and offers a comfortable space to enjoy food and drinks. The large hall is welcoming, and the staff is friendly, speaks good English, and is always ready to help. The hotel provides free luggage lockers after checkout, which is a convenient feature. The elevators are quick, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Each room includes a mini-fridge, kettle, cups, tea, coffee, and a complimentary bottle of water. The blackout curtains are effective at blocking light, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning works well, providing a comfortable environment. The bathroom fixtures are in good condition, and all the furniture is well-maintained.

I had a few issues with my stay at the hotel: 1. The windows in my room couldn’t be opened, which meant I had to rely on the air conditioning all the time. This wasn’t ideal, as I prefer fresh air. 2. Another inconvenience was that the housekeeping staff constantly threw away our water bottles from the tables. It was frustrating to come back to the room expecting to have water available, only to find it gone. 3. Additionally, there were no hooks in the bathroom. This made it challenging to hang towels or clothes, as I had to place everything on the toilet or hang it over the shower door. These details, while minor, did affect my overall comfort during the stay.

Very comfortable large bed and nice cold AC! Shower was super hot with strong water pressure. Had a fridge on the room for drinks, take away/leftovers. Bar downstairs with snacks (yakatori chicken was good!), full bar, and a takeaway pizza vending machine. Very convenient. Staff helpful and polite. Overall excellent place to stay in Amsterdam for less money!

Could hear the people above every time they moved. Very loud. Only soap provided in bathroom—no other toiletries like shampoo, lotion etc.

The room was very warm, the main advantage of staying at this hotel is that you have a radiator in the room instead of a ventilation system, so you can adjust the radiator depending on your warmth preference. The staff is very nice, the room was clean as they have daily room cleaning services. You have a pizza machine on the ground floor in case you get hungry at night and there is an Albert Heijn supermarket close to the hotel. The hotel is close to public transport and the room was quiet. Overall I was very pleased with staying at this hotel.

The wi-fi is very slow at times and the hotel is located in an area not that great of Amsterdam, you need to be careful if you come to the hotel late in the evening. I was also a bit bothered by the smell of weed in front of the hotel, there are tourists who smoke weed outside, in front of the main entrance.

I've stayed at Best Western for a week two times. It is a serviceable hotel with spacious room, a desk and minibar. The cleaning service was good and staff is friendly. Location is really good since there is a lot of commerce around the hotel - several supermarkets, restaurants and other services. It is also well connected to the tram and metro, tram being the fastest way to city center.

The pillows got way worse since my last visit. They are now very hard and uncomfortable. The heating didn't seem to work in my room, but I didn't need it since the room was already very warm. It is a bit annoying to use the faucets because you need to open both the hot and cold to get the temperature you want.

Beds comfortable Situated really close to the tram and metro so very easy to get into central Amsterdam. Very close to 3 supermarkets and so you can utilize the fridge in the room. Really helpful and friendly staff. Quadruple room was the most economic option for us, especially as we didn't realize Taylor Swift was in town. Great to have tea and coffee making in the room. Breakfast buffet is ok, priced in line with other hotels

Not sure id be comfortable walking around that around alone at night. Food options not great. Bar snacks OK but we didn't fancy a pizza from a vending machine (the smell as you walk in isn't very nice) so opted for the BBQ Buffet at 32.50€ each including beer, wine and soft drinks. BBQ was rained off, we should have checked out what was on offer before we committed as it was a complete rip off. Limited overcooked choices, was pretty revolting. Wished we had ventured further afield as the next day we spotted a restaurant by the tram stop that looked pretty good. Basically don't eat dinner there it's dreadful.

I liked that there were possibility to store luggage in the reception for free if needed. The breakfast was fantastic ( delicious and variety of foods to choose from); hotel was close to pharmacy and grocery store; also relitavely close to city centre(easy to get to centre with public transport). The room was spacious enough and there were electric kettle and fridge which was really nice for late night snack.

The AC/ ventilation wasn't working properly and there weren't any windows to open, therefore was hard to get fresh air and temperature in the room was too high. The reception said that they were working on it to figure out where is the problem, but that there weren't anything that they can do at the moment.

I booked the holiday for my daughter and her friend. One night I couldn't get hold of either of them and I was extremely worried since I am in South Africa. I called the hotel. The receptionist refused to listen to me while I was trying to explain that I was trying to get hold of my daughter. He kept putting the phone down in my ear because I was calling from an unknown number. I was so stressed out about my daughter that he refused to help. Eventually after a couple of calls, I started by saying "just give me a chance." I got hold of my daughter later but it was very stressful. I would have loved better assistance from the hotel. What if she really was in danger.

Good hotel, it had everything that we needed. And the beds were soft, unlike most hotels I've stayed in. The location, even though it was a bit away from the centre, didn't matter as the local tram service was a 5 minute walk up the road, and we just popped on and off when we needed. Lidl 5 minutes up the road was a massive bonus.

Walking to the hotel at night made us feel a little uncomfortable more lightning needed maybe but that's all.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Best Western - room was clean, there was a coffee machine in the room, bed was comfortable, everything was functioning properly -- very good. Staff is very friendly and efficient :-) Also, breakfast was excellent!

There should be more hooks or rails in the bathroom - there were only 3 small tiny hooks there, which is not enough to put towels and clothes. Also, the cups in the room were very small - coffee cups, they are not appropriate to have a cup of tea. We had to ask the reception to provide bigger cups.

Wonderful hotel, the room exceeded expectations, there was a safe, a refrigerator and a coffee machine. 3 minutes walk from the hotel there are 2 supermarkets, a tram stop is nearby, the metro is 12 minutes walk away, but you can go by bus. You can rent bicycles right at the hotel, there is good parking for a car. We lived for 4 days like in a fairy tale. The staff is helpful and friendly. I didn't have enough teaspoon in the room, and my recommendation is to take shoes for the shower.
