The hotel has an excellent location - a quiet, peaceful area right on the canal. The tram/bus is 4 minutes on foot and you can take it anywhere you need. If you are coming by car, I recommend to book parking at the stadium. Varied and tasty breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff. In the evening you can enjoy a drink on the terrace with a stunning view. Very good value for money - we will definitely come back here!

I believe there is no need to change towels every day, especially since we didn't leave them on the floor. However, you could wipe the table or vacuum the floor, because it gets dirty after a longer stay. Paper coffee cups in the room.

Breakfast was excellent and good value for money. Room was clean and shower facility was exceptional. The location is very good ( no big roads next to hotel) but a bit further from city centre than ideal. Saying that it is 10 min walk from overground train to Central station and 10 min walk from tram to city centre, and 20 min walk from local pubs and restaurants - some of them are fantastic. Check out Spaghetti house for informal dining and no need to book. We stayed in winter but it looks like in summer this hotel offers much more as it is located by the wide canal. May be a boat ride to the city (?) as there is a boat moored next to it. There is an outside area with a nice seating overlooking canal - that would be lovely place to be on a hot summer evening.

I arrived at the hotel very early in the morning. I figured that i would be hanging out in the hotel until check-in time. To my surprise, the receptionist was very kind to check us in on the the spot. We were all (wife & kids) very grateful because we were all exhausted from the long-haul flight. Checking in was a breeze and we found ourselves in the room 15mins later. Hotel breakfast was just awesome, we loved the variety and everything was delicious! My experience then got elevated when i found the sauna in the gym and also soaking myself in the hot tub - outdoor!! Overall, it was an unforgteable experience though there's so much more that i wanted to talk about this Hotel. We will surely come back again!

We liked the hotel in general, the person that did our arrival and departure was very nice and helpful. The room was spotless. We would have like to book a jacuzzi but we were too late and it was fully booked. I would advise the staff to indicate the jacuzzi can be fully booked very fast as we thought it would be more quieter.

The price of breakfast was too expensive . We did not book it as we thought we would prefer to eat in town but it was an option available if needed but I think 19,50 per person is overpriced

Nice big room, pleasant bar and lounge area with friendly staff, very nice restaurant with some love,y Chinese dishes as a speciality. Nice bathroom. As in other hotels, I’ve been to in Holland, the “double bed” was two singles pushed together each with a single duvet. I wish they could do proper double beds. Located in a bit of an oasis, a few minutes walk from nearest bus/tram, but very near the old Olympic stadium. Breakfast was an extra €25: there are some nice cafes near the Olympic stadium that open from 8am. Bizarrely, and somewhat irritating, in my three night stay I was three times knocked on the door by housekeeping to “check if my room was Ok”. I sensed they were checking up on me for some reason 🤔; a bit annoying I was trying to have a nap on each occasion!

Good location great maintenance

Everything about the property was great, but we had one disappointing experience with the restaurant staff. The process to get permission for something as simple as extra plates took too long, so I went directly to collect them myself. However, the staff responded very rudely and insisted I should have taken permission first. I found this quite unfair, especially considering that hotel staff enter our rooms for cleaning or other reasons while we are out—without asking for permission each time. We never questioned that, so why such a harsh response for something so small? A little more courtesy and flexibility from the restaurant staff would have made our stay perfect. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The location is relatively easy to reach from the city center, although it requires a 10–11 minute walk. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant.

The electric kettle next to the coffee machine wasn’t plugged in, and the short cord made it a bit inconvenient to use elsewhere. • The cleanliness in the lobby restrooms could be improved. • There was no complimentary water bottle in the room, which is usually expected. • The hot tub we reserved was relaxing, but the chlorine smell was quite strong.

Well located, easy accessed with public transportation, easily approached from the airport via public transport, nice surrounding, the bike rental service rocks

Very disappointed with the cleaning services , although requested twice from the Cleaning staff to clean better the room because there was huge amount of dust below the beds they didn’t clean it. They didn’t refill shampoo and shower soap although also mentioned to the Staff. Jacuzzi although in a balcony with great view you have to change in the middle of the gym, there was nobody to provide guidance on who has to use it and when and generally an uncomfortable situation and not equivalent to the amount of money paid

We had an amazing view over a channel, as we stayed at 12th floor. We had everything at hand, room was cleaned every day, excellent ventilation and confy beds. We had an early flight when arrived in Amsterdam, asked staff for early check in and they helped us with this - which I found amazing! Really helpful people.

I deeply hated the paper glasses. They not only look cheap, but even the water tasted bas when drink from’them. Compmimentary coffee was also poor, but not sure if it was from the coffee itself or from terrible carton glasses…

The hotel is located about 15-20 minutes, by public transportation, from the main part of Amsterdam but the tram and Metro are both an easy walk from the hotel. The walk back at night was safe and uneventful. The room itself was very comfortable with nice beds and pillows. The bar was open late enough to grab a drink after a concert. Parking was GREAT!!! I prepaid for the parking and received a small discount through the hotel. The garage was a short 5 minute walk away located near a tennis stadium. The garage can accommodate larger and taller American style vehicles with ease. It was nice to park the car for the weekend and get everywhere we needed to go without driving in the city center. We saw a lot of taxis too so if public transportation isn't your thing taxis could be called. Overall a very nice hotel and location.

While the breakfast buffet was good, it was expensive. Not a lot of other choices close by for breakfast.
