Our room was newly built, well equipped and light and airy. The block was quiet, next to the tennis courts and supported an amazing green living wall. Just away from the main hotel , just a short walk across the car park to reception and breakfast. Breakfast was amazing , huge choice of fresh food of all types. There are two nearby cafe/bars/ resturants both of which were very good and within a few minutes walk. There is also hundreds of acres of woodland/ parkland/ waterways where you can freely walk in beautiful surroundings.

When we booked we didn't realise that some days no swimwear is allowed in the spa. We didn't stay there for the spa but would have enjoyed a swim but being reserved English didn't want to try nude swimming! There is no conventional resturant or bar in the hotel only in the spa which we didn't explore. There is a bar for the tennis courts but this closes at 11pm.

Spa and location

The smoking shelter has a glass sidewall without any warning dots on it. In certain light conditions it is impossible to see the sidewall. As a result, I walked straight into the class damaging my spectacles but fortunately not damaging myself. We reported this to reception. You may see how, difficult it is to see the sidewall in the photograph below. This is an important health and safety issue which has to be dealt with as soon as possible.

Love the spa, but a bit to crowded in the evening, no special priority for the hotel guests! The food was excellent.

The young girls in the restaurant (lounge area) was a bit arrogant, took us 40 minutes to order a bring me back to bali. They passed us 5 times and took orders from guests arriving after us, in the end my husband had to go and ask if we could order. Arrived before 21.00 but due to their slow service we were told it is to late to order humus or anything because the kitchen was closed. The waitress in the restaurant we’re during our lunch were lovely. I miss a restaurant outside the spa and maybe a bar in the lobby for relaxing would get the vibe up.

I visit here 1-2 times per year to recover from burnout from my stressful job. I love it. If you liked spa’s you’ll love this place. Please remember some days are not allowed swimwear and it is mixed male and female. I heard the receptionists keep on having awkward conversations with tourists about Dutch spa culture. Check the website to make sure if it’s a swimwear day or nude day. If you’re not comfortable with a nude mixed spa, don’t come on a nude day. All reception and restaurant staff are fantastic and offer such friendly and welcoming service.

No food/restaurants easily accessible outside the spa for dinner. A nice breakfast and lunch place is nearby in the park, but nothing for dinner unless you’re in the spa. I think they need a mini bar with little bottles or wine and chips, or better vending machines. Taxi required to the city.

Never having been to a spa/wellness before we booked the Junior Suite which included spa access. The room was really spacious, it had a big bath, good quality bed and the best shower I've had in my life. The location of the spa/hotel was secluded in the forest, with only a tennis court nearby, away from all the noise. I liked the 15+ different saunas with different features and temperatures, being new to saunas this was the best way to experience them. The pool was slightly heated allowing you to relax in the pool outside even if outside was cold. There were sunbeds outside and relaxing beds inside so we even got a little tan. Lastly I really liked the fact that you're not allowed to bring your phone to the spa area, forcing you to relax and "unwind". Overal I had a great experience and will for sure be coming back.

Having booked a hotel room we kind of assumed we were allowed to use the facilities for both days. This was not the case and by exception we were only allowed to use the gym before our check out time (11am). We also thought the food was quite expensive (4,50 for a tea, 7,50 for a juice, 15 for starters) and as this was the only place to get food nearby we didn't have much choice.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—check-in was smooth and quick. The room was spotless, with a super comfy bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the breakfast. It was delicious and well-prepared, with a great variety of options. Special shoutout to the cook—the food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back!

A couple of small things to note: slippers were missing from the room, and the pillows weren’t very comfortable or ergonomic, which made sleeping a bit less restful than it could’ve been. That said, everything else was great, and I’d still happily stay here again.

I liked the saunas and pool. I liked that you can even have dinner with robes near the pool.

They charge for everything. For the price you pay for 1 night, you don't even have a one time use flip flops to use in sauna, you have to buy it extra. That's insane. Food menu was limited, massage was really good but expensive

Location was great. Just a short trip on the metro and walk. I prefer to stay outside of the hustle and bustle. The hotel and spa were lovely. We arrived pretty late but we're given the option to choose another day to use the spa as part of our booking, we declined as it was the only swimwear day. The spa was beautiful. We went to a show at the ziggo dome and this was a short Uber ride away.

Lots of stairs for the spa. One of the rooms had a really smelly sink. The shower took a while to drain. In a quiet location so isn't many food places available late at night on Uber eats.

Came for honeymoon, quite far from centre of Amsterdam but we were aware of this and chose hotel because of spa facilities. Uber costed 25 euros to get to centre, 35 euros to get to Schipol airport. Spa entry was 30 euros each and massages are 75 euros for 50 mins however we were given a cheap option when we arrived 25 mins for 20 euros each so we booked it on arrival. We are a British couple so usually wear swimwear, we didn't realise you were not allowed to wear swimwear in the spa until a few days before our stay when we got a reminder so make sure you buy a cheap robe and slippers to bring and save money. We were scared about being naked but after the first 10 minutes we started to feel more comfortable and eventually didn't mind being naked in front of other people - really enjoyed the saunas there are about 8 different steam/sauna rooms and hot/cold water pools. Loved the salt scrub. Very nice hotel room, clean and nice breakfast, enjoyed the Dutch pancakes and could see other people ordered omelettes.

Chose hotel as close to huge park, lake, and area of old boathouses on the canals converted into homes. It was quiet area next to a spa, tennis club, a restaurant and a café at the lake. Room was in secondary building overlooking the trees (nice). Good bed. Breakfast in nice sunny room was good, staff very welcoming. Easy access from airport (15 minutes) yet quiet and in the nature. The tennis courts were active into the evening, it felt like local amsterdam life, nice atmosphere.

Only slight annoyance was design of shower was open, no door, and the extractor hummed all night, no way to switch it off.
