I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cityden Zuidas during my visit to Amsterdam. From the moment I stepped into the lobby to the time I checked out, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Pros: Spacious Accommodation: I opted for the Studio XL, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, well-designed, warm, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Comfortable Bed: The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring Amsterdam. Convenient Location: While the hotel is not exactly located in Amsterdam, it is proximity to the tram station made it incredibly easy to access Amsterdam's attractions. The seamless connectivity added convenience to my travel experience. Overall Impression: Cityden Zuidas provided a comfortable retreat during my time in Amsterdam. The spacious and well-equipped room, coupled with the convenient location, made it an excellent choice for both solo travelers and those exploring the city with family and friends.

Cons: While my stay at the hotel was nearly flawless, I did notice some stains on the furniture. Though I understand that some stains are hard to remove, addressing this could enhance the overall aesthetics of the room.

The hotel is very good. I appreciated that there was the option to cook my own food as well as dine at the restaurant located in the hotel. Great location – you can quickly reach the metro by tram and from there easily get anywhere in the city. The staff are well-qualified and very friendly; they explained how to rent a bike and were always happy to help. The only downside was the washing machines. The ones I used didn’t seem to be well-maintained, and after washing my clothes there, they had an unpleasant smell, unfortunately. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of fruits, pastries, and more. The staff were very professional. I especially liked the rooftop terrace.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They react to the customer requests quite quickly. Our booking was upgraded up to XL room absolutely free which was very kind and unexpected. The hotel is very quiet. The apartment is cozy and clean, with good facilities. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary kitchenware. They compliment guests with some capsules for coffee machines, couple of tea bags. Additionally there's a disposable dishwashing kit. The beds a comfy, bed sheets and towels are fresh and clean. There are some supermarkets within 10 min walk. The tram stop is just nearby. Easy to get to the airport from Station Zuid.

Just be aware: cleaning service is provided once a week. But the garbage is taken out and towels are changed upon request.

The hotel’s value for money is excellent, and having a tram service just a 5-minute walk away was so convenient. We were so impressed with the comfort and relaxing atmosphere that we decided to extend our stay. The wonderful studio accommodations provide everything one needs for a perfect visit. Cityden will definitely be our go-to choice in the future, both for ourselves and for hosting our guests. We’re confident they’ll be just as content and happy with the modern, clean, and well-equipped facilities. Highly recommend!

Cityden Zuidas was a great choice for our vacation in Amsterdam. The apartment was modern, spacious, well equipped and very comfortable — perfect to relax after long days walking around the city. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with excellent public transport connections that made it easy to get everywhere. We didn’t use many of the common areas, but the self-service laundry was very convenient during our stay. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

A few small suggestions: • In the laundry area, the signage mentions a price “from €1”, which can be a bit misleading at first glance. While the full pricing is listed, it would be clearer to display it more prominently. • The window in our room couldn’t be left open, which made it harder to get fresh air. • The in-room temperature control didn’t seem to work properly — it was difficult to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level. None of these were major issues, but addressing them could definitely improve the overall guest experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, and overall the hotel was spotless. The area felt safe at all times, even at night, which made the experience even more comfortable. One of the best aspects is its location — it's very close to the station, making it convenient for transportation and getting around the city easily. The rooms were small, but the practical design made them very functional. The room had everything you might need for a short stay.

There is no full-length mirror in the rooms. Adding full-length mirrors to the rooms would enhance guest comfort and convenience.

Love Cityden Zuidas Hotel. It's like a mini-suite with a kitchen, stove, dishwasher and microwave grill. They also have €1 laundry machines on each floor as well as a free sauna for guests on the ground floor as well as a limited workout room. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant, Lucia on the 6th floor with a panoramic terrace. The place is artfully designed. The staff are excellent. They are friendly, helpful and very professional. Franchesca was super helpful and kind. She personally showed me the sauna room and explained everything to me. There is a paid parking €15/day) lot behind the hotel that is shared with Ibis Hotel. You need to take the ticket from the machine of the parking lot, walk through the back entrance of Ibis's hotel reception and exit the front glass door and walk to Cityden Zuidas. Unfortunately, Cityden doesn't have an entrance on the back of their building, but Ibis is aware that Cityden guests will go through their hotel. Once at Cityden, give your parking ticket to the reception for them to validate it by stamping it. When u want to exit, u nd to bring the validated ticket back to Ibis's reception for them to give u a card to exit the parking lot. It sounds a lot, but once u get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. Remember to park on the side where there r signs for Cityden Hotel. Albert Hejin and Jumbo supermarket r within walking distance and the there is a tram within 5 mins walk that will take approximately 20 mins to the city. Cityden Hotel is an excellent place to stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I come back to Amsterdam!!

Exiting the parking lot was very confusing as a hotel guest from Cityden. It would have been better if Cityden could give a exit pass and not need to go through Ibis's Hotel reception.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The room was comfortable, and the facilities were excellent—you can cook, wash clothes, and truly feel at home. I’ll definitely be coming back! The safety measures are outstanding, making the stay feel secure. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel is about 25 minutes from the city center, and we rented a car, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The location is peaceful, not crowded, and conveniently close to a halal market, just 6 kilometers away.

It would be perfect if the hotel offered cleaning service every two days!

It's a very nice aparthotel, well maintained, with very nice and helpful staff. It is close to the tram station (5 and 25). Some shops and restaurants are close by (500m). They have a small shop near the reception and a restaurant/bar at the 6th floor with a very nice outdoor terrace.

The cleaning is done every 7 days (important if you stay for a long period), the extra cleaning is on request and billed separately. The prices of the restaurant/bar are a little bit too high in my opinion. The sofa mattress is not comfortable, you can feel the steel bars through it. It is somehow far from the city center (around 30 minutes by tram).

I liked it, the soundproofing, cleanliness, very equipped with the kitchen all the essentials, the very complete bathroom, mirror with light for the ladies who like to put on makeup, very warm also air conditioning.

I didn’t like that there is no information that you should pay €150 for any damage you cause to the property. They did not appear in my reservation details. Also the city tax on booking.com appears that it was deducted, but they also charge it so you must be very careful
